Just wondering if anyone is or has experienced this? Since I got my phone just yesterday it started rebooting last night and this morning it has rebooted 10 times already within and hour and a half of being taken off the charger. I went as far as doing a factory reset.

I'd return it in a heartbeat. That's not normal. I sure hope mine doesn't start doing that. I got mine yesterday and so far its good.

Yeah I'm thinking the same thing. I had first restored a backup from my nexus 6p thru Google then I wasn't sure if that was the problem so I factory reset and fresh started no backup and the problem continued......not happy but I definitely need to return it.

Did you ever find a solution for this? Here is my situation: https://www.reddit.com/r/lgg5/comments/5gumbo/nougat_bootloop/
That happened on my G5 and V20 now...

my phone has not rebooted on its own even one time since I got it on October 27th. And you can see I don't restart it manually too often either. So you should return yours, there is definitely a defect.

So I have been noticing some odd numbers in GSAM since switching to the turbo 2, but today is really off. Ha anybody else soon these types of impossible numbers?

Isn't GSam made for Samsung phones?

Not that I am aware of. I have had it on my Droid 3 and HTC One and never had it show this type of odd usage information.
Mine seems fine on the X-Force - I was seeing very similar figures (negative percentages for apps) on my 5X. If only it was true... using apps charged your phone rather than draining it
So this happened today. Time to clear the data and see if that helps

I've been using GSAM without any strangeness for the past week.
Are you on Marshmallow? I just updated my Nexus 10 and I have same issue.

Marshmallow is already available for Turbo 2?!

It's not available on Turbo 2 yet. I am running stock image with a bunch of the bloat disabled.
Since my last post when I cleared the app data it has been stable, but it did take a few weeks for the problems to happen so I will keep an eye on the issue,
So this has been happening kinda recently. Samsung Battery info and GCAM are showing 2 different stats from full charge. What is the case? And which would be most accurate?

I noticed the same thing happening on my Sprint GS7E. I emailed the dev but no response, no updates to app. I think the SOT from Settings is more accurate.

Have been noticing the same. Sometimes after soft reboot the gsam monitor starts reading the percent o from from reboot time whole the screen on time and phone awake time remains the same and is not updated after soft reboot

Surely it has to be the latest number that is correct? One of them is losing count leaving the other correct.

I'm not sure! I was thinking maybe I needed a factory reset because something may have been causing this error in reporting different SOTs

Sorry, not latest. LARGEST value must be correct?
Hey guys. Alright I somewhat know my way around Samsung devices. Its been a while. My last Samsung device was a Mesmerize. Anyway I purchased and rooted my AT&T S7 Edge yesterday. This morning I attempted to install Xposed. I know in the OP its states it would take a long while for the device to boot. Well I gave it almost an hour. So then I went into stock recovery and wiped cache and factory reset assuming after that I would be good. Its been about a half hour now and I'm still sitting at the AT&T boot screen.
I've searched, and I'm not sure if I should continue to wait this out, or do I use Odin and flash stock firmware. If I will need to use Odin to flash stock firmware, could someone link me to the latest? While searching I believe I'd seen their is a certain Odin I need to use for this. If this is the case, which version would that be?
Thanks in advance

This is the FW I'm currently downloading
Flashed the files thru Odin and it wouldn't go thru. The Odin I'm seeing I need and have downloaded is a rar file and I can't open it on my laptop

Hi everyone,
I am running a stock, unrooted 6P which finally received the OTA for 7.1.1 two days ago. Since then, I have been experiencing random lockups, maybe once an hour. It seems to happen most frequently while using chrome but has also happened just navigating the home screen and menus. The phone will freeze and become unresponsive for anywhere from 5-15 seconds and then begin to work again. I am aware that some have experienced lockups after initially upgrading to Nougat 7.0 but Ive never had any issues until 7.1.1. Just curious if anyone else is experiencing similar issues or if I should start to trouble shoot the device further. I can say I have not installed any new apps in about two weeks so I would think that would be an unlikely cause, and my memory usage has been steady between 1.3-1.7Gb. The phone has also never been rooted and thus has only had official releases up to this point.

I was on DP2 and also got the official update to 7.1.1 few days ago. Phone is never rooted, or tinkered with in any way. I certainly do not experience lockups as you described thus far.
Could it be compatibility issues of some apps with the new update?
That could be a hardware issue. You'd need to root to get a chance to know what's going on.
Is the phone like 1y old?
Meanwhile, backup all your data, just in case.
Yeah I've had the phone since December of 2015. I'll start uninstalling and see if I can find the culprit. Thanks for the feedback.

So just an update, it seems the lock ups were being caused by Avast. Apparently it has some serious compatibility issues with 7.1.1.
Last week got update for both s10+ with last security update and on galaxy watch got update CSG4.
After these updates start to have high battery drain on both phone and watch, Samsung device care start to make pop up that some proces is overloading CPU and needs to be closed. This process is galaxy wearable.
Same time phone is hot practically most of the time...
Anybody with similar issue? What can be done?

That's overkill. Hard reset the watch is my guess.
I agree is disaster, but am not sure it is watch issue or also phone. Yet phone I can not reset for sure as am out of my country and need bank apps working (issue with activation if not in home country).

That is the process that syncs data between your phone and watch.
Try resetting the watch as long as you can't reset the phone.
Set it up without restoring any backup.
