Believe me, if reboot solve the problem i wouldn't post it here bro
there is difference between reset and reboot. i guess u took reset as reboot. do a hard factory reset. this is what i was supposed said in previous post. most of the time battery stats will be wiped if a hard reset done.

My phone just restart now even i didnt use it. I tried factory reset already but still . But i havent try to cleach cache before factory. Idk how. Xd can anyone teach me or any idea how to fix this auto restart. I remove my sd card too
Thats not normal. I recommend sending/bringing it back to the store you bought it and ask for a RMA
i seen some issues too. but they tried factory reset and they said it wont restart any more. so i tried it also but still
Just return it to the shop you bought it. Its warranty
Make sure the battery is fully seated. Sometimes if its making intermittent contact, it can appear to be doing restarts. Its actually loosing power for a split second and starts back up when the battery moves back into contact. Had a buddy's phone do this, and reseating the battery fixed it.
I had the same problem with the stock rom but i flashed another rom and no problems so far !

Hi
I just got this phone for my wife and all is well, but I have heard that the Lollipop update is quite bugged.
We are experiencing random reboots.. With twenty or thirty minutes interval...
Is the random reboots a known problem for lollipop or is it just this phone being a candidate for repairs?
Any other bugs I should be worrying about?
All best and thanks in advance..
Did you factory reset the phone yet? Upgrading to Lollipop from Kitkat leaves rubbish files behind that a factory reset fixes, myself included have reset and it has fixed just about everything
I'm running Lollipop and never had any random reboots. Its running very smooth here. If you updated from kitkat perform a factory reset after update.

Hi
It is the G900F nordic...
And The battery drain is insane...
What I would do; reflash the actual Rom via Odin.
If this doesnt work: downgrade to KitKat and back to lollipop again.
Afterwords everything should be fine. Dont forget to wipe after every flashing process.

Thanks.. I will try that if repairs has not helped.
The wifi of my device is not turning ON. I am facing this problem since the latest OTA update for yureka.
Please help ASAP.
Try doing a factory reset. If that does not help try installing a custom ROM.
Reboot?
Sometimes simple reboot will work.

If you have already done hard reset and still not working then go to service station & get this sorted.
This may not be the software issue and custom ROM will not help either.
Hey guys, so i have s7 edge for 1 year, but since a couple days ago, the device keep reboot/freeze after i install app/update an app, i thought it was bcs of my sd card so i remove it, but the problem still persist, i already tried revert back to stock rom with odin but still no effect, any idea guys? Any help will be appreciated, thank you
Bumpppp
Please guys, its getting worst
Have you booted to safe mode and stayed for a few hours just to see if it was behaving differently.
Try to do a factory reset and restore your phones to its original settings!
Factory reset steps:Mod Edit
Go to Menu -> System Settings -> Privacy (or User and Back Up) -> Factory Data Reset
All data and apps added by you in the interim will be deleted. It is recommended to make a backup (if you can do that in the present state) or to save all data you want to keep.

Hi! I'm dealing with a friend's no-warranty S7 Edge with a similar problem: the S7E would reboot and gets into bootloop until I go to SafeMode and let it cool down (I mean the phone heats up a lot before it reboots). I'm think about rooting and limiting frequency cores to avoid overheating. Did you try this? Any kernel manager app could do this. I have a Nexus 5X, and they suffer from a similiar overheating problem. Good luck!

The thing is when the first time this happens, its when i use a custom kernel with undervolt + limiting freq, and goes on bootloop. So i revert back to fully stock rom, so yeah your mileage may vary.
Latest fw is causing overheating, bootloops, fast battery drain, stuck black screen with pulsing blue notification lights and buttons unresponsive. Just Google it.
Is there anyway to downgrade stock rom without tripping know.

Hi! Could you please specify which update causes these issues? We may not be in the same build . Thanks!
It was released in November the latest one in UK Vodafone, version:
NRD90M. G935FXXU1DQJ3
Forgive me if this has been posted already before, but I could not find anyone with the same problem after extensive searching.
I bought a used V20 off of Swappa a few weeks before the Oreo update hit. It was working great until I got the notification for the update from Nougat to Oreo. I updated right away and within a few hours of light use, had several random reboots. The phone doesn't feel hot or anything, just reboots mid-use. I can be doing anything, from talking on the phone, to browsing the internet or sending a text. I'd say for every hour of screen on time, I get two reboots. I thought it might be a bad/corrupted Oreo download, so I used the LGUP software to revert it back to Nougat. While on Nougat, the reboots went away. I updated to Oreo again and the reboots came back.
Does anyone have any idea what is happening here? I'll be reverting to Nougat again tonight and keeping it that way until I can figure this out.
Also, the phone is completely stock, except the bootloader is unlocked.
EDIT: Should of also mentioned I've done a factory reset as well.
It may be necessary to hard reset the device so back up thing's and do a hard reset.....
@stinka318 Thanks for the reply. I should of mentioned that I've done a factory reset from the settings too! I edited my original post with this info.

Oh damn. All my years of using Android phones and I never knew there was a difference. Then again, I've never had problems with any of my previous phones like this so I never needed to learn. Thanks for the knowledge! I'll try it tonight and then update back to Oreo and see what happens.

No dice. Got a reboot within the first ten minutes after updating to Oreo.
I guess my next option is trying to root it and see if a custom Oreo rom does the same thing. But that laf exploit thread looks like it's gonna take a bit of reading and learning before I attempt it.
