Só i got a meizu
It comes with China ROM
I converted, unlocked bootloader, twrp and install 7.1 nougat
Now i want to go back to last International stock ROM
What is the best way?
I dont wont to brick my phone
if i want to back to stock rom + stock recovery
only need to flash in twrp update.zip + original recovery.zip and reset?
just download the official ROM,then open it with WinRAR,delete those files:
1)bootloader,2)ldfw,3)recovery.img
save and exit. then reboot into recovery, flash it.
remember every times before you update ,delete those files

Yes. If you want to keep the CWM, you should delete /system/recovery-from-boot.p and /system/etc/install-recovery.sh

hi, I think you need a backup (TWRP) of the original stock rom that come with the phone. If you have it restore it from TWRP then you should back to stock rom.
Or You can flash stock rom, I don't know if you can flash it by use TWRP, I saw link for stock rom LEX720 here:
http://bbs.le.com/zt/eui/le_pro3.html
Wrong post
1.If not have TWRP backup ?
2. Stockrom can't istall from TWRP.
This case if i want back to first time buy new phone.

I'm working on a simple guide to return to stock (5.8.20s) since I need to send my phone in for repair. The only thing I am missing is how to get back to original locked bootloader. If anyone has a link to that info (or can send me a flashable file with instructions) please let me know!
Regardless I'll post tomorrow sometime after I try it out.

Hi, I suggest you use the stock twrp backup you made before any modifications first to get the original system back. Then flash a stock recovery from here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-pro3/how-to/leeco-le-pro-3-root-t3476560
and then get the latest OTA firmware zip and rename it to update.zip. Once you renamed it put it into the root of your mobile and reboot to recovery by adb then from there it should allow you to update to stock rom (may also work to get back to stock rom). This will bring back some Chinese apps and the system update features for future OTA if you were under 017s software.
Stock ROM OTA: http://bbs.le.com//zt/eui/le_pro3.html
I held no responsibility to any damage caused as it may or may not work for every device. It worked for me after flashing various custom roms. I used my first stock backup and got rid of the twrp then update with the stock recovery.
Just posted a guide:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-pro3/how-to/guide-return-to-stock-lock-bootloader-t3539513
I hope it is helpful!
Is there anyway I can lock the bootloader on my ZE520KL?
I would like to know it, too.
Android 7 cannot be installed with it unlocked, afaik.

How did you do it??
I've bought my ZEN3 (520) and it had Android 6. I managed to root it, but I was forced to unlock bootloader to do it (don't remember if official or unofficial unlock).
Now I removed root, tried reinstalling stock boot partition, etc...etc... but nothing works! It always trips at the dm-verity check at boot time, and it says it will be shut down in 10 seconds, and it really shuts down! (

Why u tried to remove root? for installing nougat? If u want to update to nougat, u dont need remove root, just flash it.
Can you access recovery mode? If yes, just copy the rom on your sd card, before u flash the rom, u must flash boot.img inside rom.zip and stock recovery same as rom ver.

For boot.img and stock recovery : https://mega.nz/#F!ok0V0RIA!5WKtHe98opzjVI3NPbM7Ww
(ze520kl=z017d)
For stock firmware : https://www.asus.com/Phone/ZenFone-3-ZE520KL/HelpDesk_Download/
If u want flash the latest avaible stock firmware, u must extract firmware.zip u downloaded, and flash boot.img and recovery.img from it. If u cant find recovery.img inside it, just flash latest recovery.img avaible from mega (its for nougat too). Put firmware ur downloaded on sd card.
-reboot your phone to fastboot mode, connect your phone to pc and flash boot.img and recovery.img
-after that go to recovery>install update from sd card and choose the .zip

Thanks. I'll give it a try
I figured out how to update after flashing twrp. Maybe obvious to some but I've seen questions about it.
The zip in the "Convert CA to WW" thread has the stock rom in a zip file. Open it and inside is a recovery.img file in it, extract it to your adb folder on your PC.
Download the firmware update from ASUS official site and save to the root of your sd card or internal storage (it will recognize both.)
Reboot into fastboot on your device.
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
When that finishes reboot and your phone should find the update and ask if you want to install. Do so. You may need to power cycle first.
When you're done you can reflash TWRP.
Once you have TWRP you can flash Magisk or SuperSU as you see fit.
It's painless.
An old post from you, but thank you. This was really easy. I've spent 2 days trying to figure out how to upgrade without restore stock rom, boot etc. and lose all data. I was about to give up when I saw this post, I didn't expect it to work - to easy. But I could give it a try.
This was painless.
Then it took me 3 hours to figure out how to reinstall twrp again, it wasn't just to flash and reboot I had to boot directly into recovery after flash. But that is another story.
Thanks, you just saved me some time!

Can I manually update with the recovery by downloading the rom?
I think, the FOTA won't arrive as I've rooted my phone.

When you flash stock recovery and update you unroot, so you will get FOTA. Just update to Oreo and then flash twrp and Magisk (or whatever you use) again.
I am rooted and updated to Oreo then chose updates involving battery improvement and/or system stability (downloaded to external sd), after installed the last update I flashed twrp and rooted again.
You need to flash stock recovery before update. The phone will find the updated with custom recovery but update will fail.
The site I downloaded stock recovery from is down so you have to search for it, or download RAW stock rom and extract the recovery from it

I installed a Custom Rom in my Huawei P10 Lite, but I want to go back to stock, and I know that before flashing the stock rom, I have to install the stock recovery and then use the dload method to revert to stock, my doubt is, which Stock recovery should I use?
Thanks in advance!

Dload or HwOta.
Dload will format all partition and lock your bootloader and u need sd card.
HwOta will just install stock rom and after it do not boot rom(you don't need sd card). You need to do factory reset from stock recovery.

I just downloaded a Service Rom from another XDA post for Huawei P10 Lite, copied all those files in a folder called "dload" and then, after turning off the device, used the "three buttons method" (you have to press volume up, volume down and power button to use the dload method) and it fully reverted to stock.
Just to warn you, I'm missing too much things and I don't know how to fix that, I'm just happy that my phone reverted to stock.
