Hey there,
since I activated adoptable storage on my S7 Edge - my Camer App sometimes get's stuck. I can't get out of Camera Mode and only rebooting solves the problem.
Can I somehow move all Data from adoptable storage back to internal storage and revert activating adoptable storage?
Unfortunately I didn't found much about reverting back ...
Thx for your help, bye from Austria
Andreas

I have the similar camera issue(so far only on burst and raw mode) after setting to use the adoptable storage.
There's a trick to escape from the hung camera screen and here's what you can try, pull down the notification bar from the top, select and access anything from there, basically it will bring you away from the crashed camera app, then you can close the camera.
Regarding reverting the adoptable storage, you can google "Adoptable storage option enabled on S7 Edge but now insufficient storage ?" from AndroidCentral dot com to see the comment from user "sstayner" there, sorry XDA forum prevent me from posting outside link because i'm new.

Recently I checked my devices storage and found something more annoying than interesting. Its about the Google Camera and my storage. I took about 250 pics with the Google Camera and it takes about 1,34 GB space (pictures below). But the Google Camera also take this amount of space away. So technically spoken there are double space taken away.
Why?
Can anyone tell me? Thanks?

Backup your photos somewhere, then try clearing Google Camera's data. What happens?
I also considered that, but nothing happens when I cleared it. And although I move all pictures to my computer, the camera still occupied so much storage. Thats strange...
So my SM-G900H keeps giving me the "internal storage running out" warning even though in storage settings it says I have 14.98gb of free space. I also took out the SD card now to eliminate that factor and still this message is there. It doesn't let me install apps because it says there isn't enough storage space for them. However, it still Downloads the app no problem, error pops up when it tries to install it. I went through the whole internet and couldn't find anything. Any ideas? Thanks!

The entire internet, huh? How long did that take you to do?
Anyway, back to reality - a forum search usually fixes issues like this. It's a good habit to actually search before posting, as it often gives you an instant answer. And at least lets you pose better informed questions.
Try the solution in the top search result. And failing that, restore a backup or write a 100% stock firmware image to the phone to correct obscure system corruption.

hi guys, my camera has stopped working properly recently. when i take pictures the and press the camera button the white frame usually appears to indicate the picture has been taken, however sometimes i have to press it multiple times before the white frame appears and after i take pictures they seem to look "split" and "cracked". could this be due to me deleted a few samsung bloatware apps with titanium backup? but i have not deleted any samsung camera apps, just unneccessary apps such as s health etc. also after recording a video i have to press the stop button a few times before it actually stops and when i try to play the video it says "video cannot be played". any help?
i am using the stock samsung camera app. this problem doesnt occur all the time but when it does its very annoying.
i will attach a sample below

It's probably the sd card, happened to me before, try to use your device as your camera storage first and then check the image, you can also move the photo to your sd card from your internal storage and see what happens.
My memory card today told me I was running low which I found odd.
Upon checking I noticed System Data was taking over 20GB of room.
Before using this memory card on this phone I formatted it as set it up for external use
I have been searching on google for a while and cant find any reason for this or how to fix it
Any ideas?
thanks

Found a fix
From your phone dialler, dial *#9900#
Tap on Delete dumpstate/logcat and it will show you dump result. Click okay and exit and reboot
Dial *#9900#
is working for some mobiles only.
Not for all. Others are still finding it difficult to get rid of insufficient memory message popping up when updating apps.
This problem is big and most users are suffering.
No other way than to format a mobile / factory reset.
*#9900# doesn't work on AOSP roms -.-
Edit:
Unplugging the MicroSD card, putting it into a Windows PC, and putting it back to Android changed the files. They showed up as Found.00 and i could delete them.

Then your device is not allowing you to move apps in your external storage, that happens with lots devices, that they are unable to move their apps, that's the reason people should use at least 64GB internal storage device, with 32 GB internal storage its not enough for apps

Go on developer options and scroll to the bottom until you see "force allow apps on external"
That should fix it
