Help with Global option in network's settings - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions & Answers

A few months ago, the Global option appeared as an option that I could choose instead LTE / CDMA or GSM / UMTS, makes some updates this disappeared and can not find in any forum as active. if I use GSM only manages up to 3G, and if I use cdma data not work because my sim is a GSM company and before if I could get LTE, can someone help?

Hi, I know you have a sprint device at hand, you can flash this firmware here: http://updato.com/firmware-archive-select-model?record=4340625291E211E6891DFA163EE8F90B
This will remove any Sprint Bloatware and allow you to use LTE, I am assuming you are not in the US correct? if needed i can help guide you flashing it. Do note that flashing this will wipe your device completely, you will need to backup your device before you flash.

I downloaded and installed the software. I'm not quite sure about what to fill in the Model and Region blank, so I put this:
Model: SM-G930U (instead of P)
Region: SPR (Sprint)
Then hit "Check Update", here is the suggested U firmware:
File: SM-G930U_1_20160921124641_vvcrzx3ej5_fac.zip.enc4
Version: G930UUEU4API3/G930UOYM4API3/G930UUEU4API3/G930UUEU4API3
Do I download this firmware? Or do I have to type in different Model number?
Thank you!

Using SM-g930U and SPR would download the same file, as long as you download the firmware for model SM-G930U, it will download the correct file.

YAY! Android 5.1.1 update is live!! build G925FXXU2BOFJ

Our Galaxy S6 Edge just got the Android 5.1 update! It's for G925F set.
Be *sure* before applying the 5.1 update using Odin as root isn't available yet for the Samsung's 5.1 update. You cannot rollback to previous bootloader either, it's protected now.
And, root isn't available yet! Will update the post as and when it becomes available but do let me know if you find that before me.
Here's the link to download the full firmware. Download Links:
| Direct Link | Mega
To know about support for shutter speed and RAW capture, see this.
It seems brightness bug is still present, per @strikerdj2011
No guest mode addition either, per @bernard134
Thanks: @Fauert for mega link
That was quick, you spend all night hitting the refresh button lol
Root is possible or not?
If yes, how we can do?
Thanks

No changes from the t mobile version that I can see. All the same and no guest mode
Can someone else check their Camera FW details and see if their's got upgraded? You can see the phone has a newer firmware thats not been pushed to the camera hardware.

1. This happend when you try to flash one firmware unbranded to one device branded or viceversa.
2. The .pit file for Note 3 16 GB is different that the one of 32 GB.
3. For avoid problems: Install this APP and add screenshots.
The pit file is the problem. ..I also advice u flash without the pit file and see how it goes
mi note 3 is 32gb.
this roms works:

N9005XXUGBOB6_N9005XEOGBOA4_XEO

Well it IS on SamMobile and labeled as T-Mobile USA: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-N910T3/
There are actually SM-N910T, SM-N910T2, and SM-N910T3 acording to the Bluetooth SIG site: https://www.bluetooth.org/tpg/QLI_viewQDL.cfm?qid=25312
My guess is they are just different hardware revisions of the T-Mobile USA variant. I remember the Note 3 had at least two hardware revisions, the second one had a different display driver chip than the first one and TRWP had to build a new version for it to make the screen brightness work again.
This firmware image could be just a "common" firmware image for all three revisions.

Could be? Can anyone with a sammobile account upload or does it have to come from a site admin? I am also a little surprised they don't have a post on it up.
Going to flash when I get home from work. I extracted the modem and looks like it has the "T-Mobile USA Root CA" in it as well as the following line:
N910T3UVU1DOFC 1976227 SM-N910T MDM9225M REV1.1 N910T.002
Looks good to me!

For what its worth here is the build info from COD6 vs DOFC modem.bin. It looks like they both refer to the N910T as N910T.002 and both using the Qualcomm MDM9225M baseband.
COD6 = N910TUVU1COD6 1935620 SM-N910T MDM9225M REV1.1 N910T.002
DOFC = N910T3UVU1DOFC 1976227 SM-N910T MDM9225M REV1.1 N910T.002

I registered via the care app ok ?
Registered this morning using the Galaxy Care apk in the betatester program. I have just clicked the "Check updates" option in the configuration menu of my device and suddenly started to download the 6.0 update.
So, maybe those who have joined the program, can force the update this way aswell.
My phone is an unlocked and never rooted G925F with the CSC code changed to XEU and the last 5.1.1 update installed. I live in Spain.

Easiest way is to flash the firmware you would like to change your CSC to, then after that boot to Recovery, it should tell you "Multi-CSC applied" and it is done, you can even check it with the Phone Info app later to see if it indeed changed

Must download and flash full stock ROM
That means BL bootloader, CP modem, AP system and data + recovery CSC or Home CSC if you flash CSC phone will wipe user data means factory reset. If you flash home CSC you keep all data.
Trust me it will work.
Download full stock ROM unzip all files plug in your phone then flash all of them.
DO NOT UNPLUG YOUR PHONE OR MOVE THE USB CABLE WHILE FLASHING OR YOU END UP WITH THAT SCREEN AGAIN!
Also make sure you download the right binaries for your country, your phone etc... it will work don't worry.
