Second Screen Not Showing Quick Toggles When Main Screen is Off - LG V20 Questions & Answers

I posted a similar topic a couple of days ago, but was able to solve it on my own. I have as an option showing the Quick Toggles while the screen is off, but when I turn off the main screen, I am only able to swipe between music controls and the time and do not see any of the quick toggles. When the screen is on, I am able to see the quick toggles. I'm pretty sure I don't have anything frozen that would affect it (as I did in my earlier post). Device is rooted, everything else seems to be working as expected.

[Q] Unlocking To Contacts Glitch/Scrambled Screen For 2 Seconds?

Hi guys i seem to have a problem which i cant figure out where its coming from. This is my second device that does this, basically sometimes after i unlock the screen i get a glitch or scramble on bottom half of the screen for about 1-2 seconds, mostly when it unlocks to the contacts or call log tab.
At first i thought its because i had disabled the transition animations and window animation scale in developer mode but it did it after i set them back to default as well.
After i thought its from the light animation on the lockscreen and i disabled that as well but same issue persists.
It only happens 3-4 times per day.
I exchanged my first device because of this and now second one is doing the same. I will try and post a picture later. So is anyone else experiencing this or do i switch again?

[Q] Issues with Active Display and Navigation Bar

Hello! I'd like to say thank you too XpLoDWilD and the other developers involved in this ROM. I think it is truly one of the best around!
I have experienced a few issues, and was hoping someone could direct me in order to resolve them. I am currently using a Nexus 5 device!
First off, sometimes i will randomly loose my entire navigation bar when opening messaging or other apps, and have to shut the screen off and turn it back on in order to see the home button, back button or multi task. I am not entirely sure why it does this, but i am using immersive mode now to see if the issue goes away.
Secondly regarding Active Display, It seems the function wonderfully other then when I initially unlock the phone through the active display or enter a notification through the active display, it then unlocks then my old lockscreen appears for a split second and then finally unlocks my device and returns to my normal screen. It happens all within a few seconds.
If anyone could provide me with some insight or direct me to whom i could bring this issue too that would be great thank alot!
+1 on Point 1 (navigation bar disappearing)
2013-01-08 nightly and before
I have the same where the navigation bar disappears completely at times.
I have the same where when active display shows I've received a message/notification and I chose to go the app that the screen blacks out. If I then press home it goes to program.
I also have where the time disappears from the notification bar. If I switch the screen off and unlock again the time is back.

How to fix Edge Lighting and Screen on notifications

Hey guys,
I have this phone since a few weeks ago and recently I realized that I have problems both with the on screen notifications on and the edge lighting.
I literally searched everywhere, but could not find a fix, so I really would appreciate some help!
So, my first problem is that I initially received notifications while my screen was off. Whenever I got a notification, the screen would turn on, however the notification would only appear for a matter of seconds and after that it would completely disappear from the lock screen. Like I never received a notification at all. Therefore, I decided to search for a fix and now my problem is quite the opposite.. I receive notifications, they stay on the lock screen until I swipe them off or open them, however, the screen is not waking up at all after I receive them. For example, when the phone is on sound mode, I can hear the notification sound, the LED indicator is lighting up, but the screen does not wake up. All notifications are allowed and I have unchecked the "keep screen turned off" option. My phone is not on a battery or data saver mode as well.
The second problem is that the Edge Lighting does not work at all. Yes, I tried to switch off and on the buttons, I set the Edge lighting to "always" and enabled all available applications. Restarted the phone numerous times as well, no progress whatsoever. Oh, also the notifications are not in "pill" style.
If that matters, I cleared the cache, I've updated everything and didn't find an application that might cause any interruptions, although I am not excluding that option.
For me works only in messaging app, in edgelighting i have touch all apps.

Back and Recents Buttons Disappeared / Not Working?

I have noticed that my back and recents buttons seem to have stopped working. I had them set so that they were always lit up but they've disappeared.
Has this happened to anyone else and did you manage to fix it? I've looked through the settings and can't see that I've changed anything.
Currently running Action Launcher.
I have noticed that if I touch the Home button briefly, when using the Sense launcher, two small symbols appear briefly - a "b" and something else... Have I accidentally engaged some accessibility feature unwittingly?
ETA: I properly switched it off and restarted it, and the buttons reappeared, lit up as expected. It was a bit of a worry though. Hopefully this will not reoccur.

[solution] lockscreen timeout

So my mxpe lockscreen wasnt timing out at all, using latest google phone wakes up the device leaving lockscreen opened and if plugging in the turbopower waking the lockscreen it would stay opened. I found this solution to work.
Quote from another website user
Ok. So recently I used "power saving" mode. I took it off immediately after I didn't need it any longer. For some reason, the Android system on my phone didn't register that, so my phone lock screen kept time-outing after 3-seconds (kinda annoying when trying to use Samsung Pay).
Anyways, do what I did: simply go to Settings>System>Battery>Power Saving Mode>On
Then just turn it back off. Kinda like cycling it, but only once. This time around, my Edge seemed to pick it up, and register it. My timeout screen is now longer than those annoying 3-seconds.

I guess it didnt fix it. The sleep when in active is set for screen and lock screen. This sux. I have sleep set @30min so my lockscreen will stay alive for 30min.
Found a real solution that works. Found here.

Some stated to goto developer options/running services and kill one by one each service and power off the screen and back on till timeout works on screen well I did this and found that Material Notification Shader kept the timeout screen from timing out so I disabled the app and I have a timeout on the screen after I power on the screen and/or plug in the power cord.
