Is running on EMUI 3.1?
I haven't tested it on HoNor 7.
However in the MM update, it is enabled by default in the recorder.

Hello together,
After updating the my OPT with the “official” OOS 3.0 Beta, I’m facing signal drops.
after each drop, my internet connection is broken, I cannot make calls anymore, and so on..
I need to restart my phone in order to use it again.
It happens at least once a day.
Attached a screenshot, you can see that the signal bar has an exclamation sign “!” next to it.

Hmmm... such basic functions should work in a official beta release. If it was an alpha release I would agree.
I have no idea how to fix your problem or why it occurred... Perhaps a reflash?

No signal problem for me. But I have charging issues..
Myself... Been running 3.0 for 72 hours. I just got my phone and flashed it within the hour and then flashed TWRP and rooted it. I made the official "dirty upgrade" with the 3.0 from Oneplus website.
No issues at all... On the other hand, I flashed the 3.0 before making any installs or configurations
Hi Everyone,
Just updated my device to Nougat and I'm wondering if there is a trick or app to hide the navigation bar with the hide button like in EMUI 4.x

Tried EMUI 4.x tutorial on EMUI 5, unfortunately it doesn't work.
Hope someone will find a solution for that.
Thank you very much for your help
I think only ROOT will be helpful.

My device is already rooted. Couldn't find this line "ro.config.hw_touchplus_enabled=false" in build.prop file in EMUI 5. but available in EMUI 4.x

try to add the whole line into build.prop and change =false with =true.....however the touchplus.apk is incompatible with nougat....tried to restore it...I've found on play store alternative solution Hide System Bar (Full screen) app.
Perfect working https://youtu.be/RRu4B96yN6w

My ROM KangVIP B580
News?
Just use kangvip rom.then you can disable or hide it.
The best solution ever....for me it's better then a little arrow... look at here
https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/app-navigator-hiding-navigation-bar-t3344883
basically, you have always full screen and when you need navbar just swipe up from the bottom... brilliant!!!

I don't have that app on mine, but, if you go to settings>apps> click on the app, see if you can disable it. If it has been updated, stop the app, uninstall,
then go back and see if you can disable it. I've done that to pretty much all of the huawei apps, like music, video, hicare etc.
There's a "voice control" in "settings / smart assistance"
Just turn off the quick calling and other options if u want

Sadly as a system app I can't uninstall it. My goal is making Google now on tap working on this version of mate 8.... It seems that there is no way to do it without root

I do not root my devices anymore, so if that one can't be disabled, then I'll stick with marshmallow. I use ok google too much.

huh? have u tried updating manually?
I use the 9, but still have the 8. I check it about once a week for the update (USA version). Since the USA version seems to always be the last to get it, I look for Android "P" to come out, before my 8 gets O. LOL
Android 8 Oreo and Emui 8 is coming to Mate 8 in May :good:

Does Poco M3 has auto call recording available?
Not sure about 'auto' call recording but It has call recording option which is provided by Google Dialer.
Global Version to Indonesian Global Version, confirm with auto-recording. I'm using and tested it. But for the Global Version, no auto call recording.
In the global version that only has Google phone dialer app, there is no call recording option.

The Taiwan official ROM (QJFTWXM) has auto call recording, you can unlock the bootloader, and flash the fastboot ROM with Mi Flash Tool, with the clean all and lock option.
