Im new to the samsung scene but i know on my htc m9 the att model and the international model had all the same hardware and we were able to flash all the roms and kernals and everything the international /unlocked model could, would that be the same on the att s7 edge?

On the M9 you had to be bootloader unlocked though. Ours are locked. Closest thing you have here is flashing 935U firmware in this forum.

Ah alright thank you for clearing that up

I know some of you guys just flash the "U" firmware, but I want to just buy the phone unlocked. For the ones that just bought the unlocked phone, instead of flashing the "U" firmware, did you notice any problems using the phone on the VZ network? Do updates actually roll out faster?
No problems at all. I had the U model when it first was released and kept alternating between vzw, tmo and U firmware. Everything worked per the appropriate firmware. Moreover,b it's cheaper on BH photo since they don't charge tax as well

Go to B&H website there you will find the information.
Thanks!
Did just discover it would be pointless for me because in the future if I want to use it on ringplus it won't work

The answer is NO. The Verizon version is CDMA only.
Nope, I flashed the unlocked version on the verizon model and after a week it started running like ****. Just spend an extra 100$ and buy the unlocked model on swappa and call it a day.

You're kidding right? Every major Verizon phone in the last two years is factory unlocked. I'veused a Verizon LG G3, G4, S6,S7 , and S7 Edge on ATT.

Hi All. I have an unlocked G930T that I use on Cricket which uses AT&T towers. Would I see any benefit from flashing the modem.bin from the latest AT&T firmware?
No. I also use a G930T on ATT and have tried G930A firmware including the modem and actually the G930T modem seems to get noticeably better reception.
Unrelated...does the native G930T hotspot work with cricket?
Let me try it tonight and I'll report back. I've not had much need since being on Cricket.

Hotspot worked just fine.

Hi so I'm running the latest ota on stock firmware and I'm wanting to try the unlocked firmware however the only one available is marshmallow which I'm fine with using for a couple weeks or so until Nougat is released. The question is can I downgrade to Marshmallow by flashing the appropriate files in Odin? If so does my sim need to be unlocked to flash? Thank you so much have been looking for answers but no luck.

The SIM doesn't have to be unlocked first as long as it's the Sprint Sim. I did just that recently - downgraded from the Nougat 935p to mm 935U.

Can I just simply download this,
https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/g...SM-G975U1/TMB/download/G975U1UES3CTA3/314967/
And flash it to convert my unlocked S10+ to the T-Mobile version. I'm missing some features available on the TMobile phone, that I'd like back, like for one, advanced messaging.
