Any one know the service password for Verizon in hidden menu?
Usually all zeros (000000) for verizon sold phones, but if it's not that, you could activate on RingPlus w/ a compatible SIM and it will tell you the MSL once you activate
Edit: You could maybe do the same on Boost Mobile, except that doesn't even require paying for activation. but you do need the Sprint SIM -- it will ask you for payment or 'later' -- and then it will give you them MSL. Used that trick to get the MSL on a Moto E on Marshmallow.

I just purchased a Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N900A), full-price, off-contract, from AT&T Wireless. I used an existing GoPhone (prepaid) account/phone number to activate the phone. The phone works (voice calls) with the AT&T SIM. However, I want to use the phone/device on aioWireless. I have a microSIM for aio. I have purchased an unlock code and followed the unlock instructions. I received a "Successful unlock" message after entering the 8 digit network code. However, I cannot make phone calls (or use the data plan) when the aioWireless SIM is installed. When dialing a number with the aio SIM, I get a recorded message that the service has been deactivated, and to contact AT&T.
When I try to verify whether the phone has truly been unlocked by typing *#SIMLOCK# nothing happens. If I then push the CALL button, I then get the message: Connection problem or invalid MMI code.
Any clues what is going on?

The *#SIMLOCK# code does not work on newer phones so have to find another sim that you verified and works ok in another similar phone.Maybe aioWireless is not activated, does it work ok on other phones? Would recommend a tmobile sim ,because with that if the phone is unlocked then should connect to the network
I have a SGH-I337 (AT&T) that I'm trying to get to work with a Verizon sim. I followed the steps in the post below.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...aranteed-free-sim-unlock-mk2-nb1-nc1-t2852979
I follow the steps as stated but at the end the phone has no signal/loses signal using Verizon sim's.
Usually after a fresh boot, the phone will have bars but no data and cannot make calls. The phone states EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY at this point. After a few minutes the service bars will disappear and be replaced with a NO SERVICE indicator.
The phone no longer indicates an invalid sim, but does not auto load APN settings. Manually inputting the Verizon APN settings does not fix it either.
I have checked and it does NOT show the NULL IMEI on the *#06#. Also with the Verizon sim the hidden menus don't always function (*#0011# and such) although I've read that is an AT&T only thing, I'm not sure if that true.
When I insert an AT&T Sim it gets service/data immediately upon booting. I've also tried two different Verizon sim cards.
Thoughts or Suggestions? What am I missing?

I don't own any Verizon phones myself, so I could be totally wrong but:
- Verizon's SIM cards are just for data.
- Verizon uses CDMA (Your subscriber identity is in the ESN/IMEI)
- AT&T uses GSM (Your subscriber identity is in the SIM)
Both networks require you to authenticate yourself with your subscriber identity before they will give you data access.
Sounds like Verizon doesn't have your IMEI, so the phone fails to authenticate/connect.
Try calling Verizon, tell them you got a new phone, and you would like to tell them the IMEI of the new one, so that it can connect to data services.
Either that or they need the number off the Verizon SIM

I really do hope it's this simple. I'll try it tomorrow and let you know if it works.
I've never heard of a gsm phone working on cdma. Is it even possible?

It should be able to work with CDMA. I've seen the option in some of the menu's I've been through. And the guides have all said that they can work between AT&T and Verizon/T-Mobile or vice versa.
Also, AT&T will unlock the phone for you if you go to their website and fill out the stuff. The only reason I didn't do this is because I'm still under contract and I would have to break that and pay the early termination fee.
Hi,
I have sprint s4 SPH-L720 and I called sprint and they gave me 6 digit MSL code....
I want to unlock this phone from sprint so I can use it on gsm service like cricket wireless
And I found online that I can dial ##3282# to get to data programming and than click on edit to enter this code...which I can do ..
but don't know how to reprogram it ie. enter new correct data in order to use it on domestic gsm sim based provider.
Currently all data for example mmsc or proxy points to sprint which I know should be changed but dont know what to be changed...
Please advice...

Hello i was wondering if anyone knows how to get the msl number. I am using a sprint galaxy s7 rooted and unlocked currently have a verizon phone and its domestic roaming hoping unlocking the lte bands will help with that.
Any information would be appreciated. I do not have an account with sprint so calling them doesnt really work.
I told sprint i was going to Europe for a month and i needed the MSL number to unlock the phone so i can have a temporary provider service me over there. They gave it to me

I tryed to tell them that but they would not help me because i dont have a sprint account.
If your rooted there are aps in google play that can get you the MSL number MSL reader, code. Give it a shot
Have tryed the apps and none are able to get it. Still searching for a way to find my code.
Try PDANET at junefabrics.com no root needed install to phone and laptop make a search for foxfi key to fully activate it. It has USB Bluetooth for wireless . On your laptop PDANET can create wifi hotspot so you can connect other devices
I switched my Sprint S7 to FreedomPop and under about phone instead of my new phone number with FreedomPop it shows Unknown for the number. Does anyone know how to reprogram that? I swear I did it with my S5 when I sold it to my brother in law so it showed his Straight Talk number. I have the MSL code if it requires that but can't seem to get any codes to get into the programming menu to change the MDN. I tried Sprint chat but they wouldn't tell me the code used to program it, even though if I would have to manually program the phone to get it onto their network (potentially) they did outline that I would have a 6 digit code to enter to program the MDN as my phone number.
I believe Freedompop uses voice over data so you won't have a phone number on the phone like you would with a regular carrier.
