hi brother . is there a program to see all notifications like in iphone on screen , coz in huawei u can see only a little notifications on screen.

I got a Nexus 4 last month, and I have 2 things that I guess that could be better.
1- The LED notification is very inconstant. And the light is so weak. It is not good as Galaxy S3 Led for example.
2- The vibration system is so smooth. Everytime when my phone vibrate, I can feel it.
3- I cant set a diferent wallpaper for lockscreen and background screen? Because when I set a new wallpaper, it sets for both screens. I want to set diferents wallpapers for each screen.
Do you know some application or mod to enhance these "problems"?

i found a problem on my 9500 screen which is when the keyboard appear in some apps (whatsapp, facebook messager , or key in message)
the whole screen will become lighter. Specially on the title part ( below the status bar ) the whole title will become lighter thn normal.
In the what apps whn the keyboard appear whole screen like refresh to a lighter color （something like flashing the screen）this will more obvious if the phone screen is in lowest bright.
can any one help me check your 9500 izit this problem only happen on my phone ~ Please

it like flashing the whole screen when the keyboard appear and it the whole scree color become lighter? will is because the smart brightness?

Mine does it too. Also when you open keyboard the whole screen goes a shade of green on low brightness.

i think you should untick Auto adjust screen tone. It will be better.
ya it happens when some darker object is loaded below, the rest of the screen becomes a bit brighter

Hi , in the past (4.4) I had NiLS installed and could see the different apps notifications on the lockscreen while the phone was locked and screen off . Once a notification came in the screen was "waken-up" and I could see the notification. NiLS worked as a widget. Now, I understand there's no more widgets for the lockscreen , OK with that. The Lollipop replacement is the built-in notifications , however, when a notification comes in I can only hear the sound of it but the screen stays turned off. I couldn't find any decent notifications app that can now co-exist with the new mechanism. Any ideas ? how can I make the screen wake up for incoming notifications ? many thanks.

Hi . I find default sms app on my note 3 a bit laggy. I would like to replace it with some other sms app, however , i want from that app to be in black colour theme , since black colour saves a lot of energy on SuperAmoled screens , but you already know that. So then , which app would you recommend me ? thx.

default sms is little bit laggy if you enable power saving mode. try to disable it.
Still lags when i try to scroll down to older sms with one person. It cant even handle 500 sms , not speaking about 3k ....
Just tried Go sms Pro and it is something completely else. But i have one problem with that. WHen i set Go sms Pro as my default sms app and when i want to open my sms through the sms icon in main screen , it always asks me if i want to choose samsung sms app as default , when i refuse or cancel it , window goes away but the app running is from samsung , not Go sms Pro. I have even tried to clean cache of that app from samsung but it doest work. Pls help
All apps will lag I think but still just for the sake of trying new stuffs you could try full featured Chomp SMS or less featured and lightweight Textra SMS. They are decent alternatives.
However I find Samsung's own SMS app really nice. Just wish it was white that's all.

I'm coming from a s5 mini and the one thing I was really sad to let go was the notification led. It's a great feature and I really miss it.
Always on display can do somewhat the same thing, but not that good. I often leave my phone on a table and walk around and I want to be able to just glance at my phone and see if I have any notifications. Yes, always on display shows notification, but it has a clock and 2 lines of text above them, making it harder to distinguish if you actually have notifications from some meters away.
I was thinking if I could change the color of notifications. The clock could stay white, but have a green notification for a miss call for example, that way the notification will pop out and catch your eye.
Also it would be perfect if I could assign different colors for different apps, that way it would act like the beloved notification led..

I just found this thread. That sounds exactly what I want - I dont want the AOD on all the time - just to give me notifications.

EDIT: Probably should add - would this work on an a5 2017 running Oreo?
