[Q] HELP!!! W8i Doesn't boot, No charge, No connection, button no work for flash mode

Dear all,
My W8i doesn't boot up, no vibrate, no working key for flash mode, no charging.
I think it was error bootloader.
Anybody can help me now!

Here ya go!

I think that you have hard bricked your phone if you were trying to unlock bootloader and if you have there is no way to recover your phone. You will have to send it to SE.

What are you talking about, no home method can fix a hard bricked X8/W8. You need to send it to Sony.

GZ u have hard bricked your phone.
what i did was send it for warranty repair claming that i was upgrading software through PCC but my pc got blue screen while at it.i played it clueless and i had a replaced PCB in 4 days !

Device Unbrick Service /CFW Service

Hi guys , just had a thought last night. My dad is always installing custom rom's on his android devices and last night somehow he managed to brick his HTC One (M7) installing Viper One :silly: ? I had the job of unbricking his device that had no system partition no data partition no recovery and a half unlocked boot loader (using s-on). I found the task reasonably simple and it was up and running with viper one in just under and hour. Then i was thinking back to when his samsung galaxy s got bricked and that was pretty easy as well. i find the task of unbricking phones enjoyable. I have had about four years experience unbricking phones and would like to run an unbrick service for the xda-developer members! I am able to Root phones , unroot phones, boot loader unlocking , flashing ruu's , flash custom firmware's/recovery's , and fix unbootable phones! I need your help guys what do you think? Would this help the squeamish or those that don't understand android well enough ?

I have a question for you , do you think you could find a way to root the samsung galaxy note edge sm-n915a AT&T variant running android 5.1.1 lollipop or some how bypass the locked bootloader ? About ur question I seariously would give it a shot if I were you

I have a micromax a96 device which is not charging if I put charged battery I reboots like canvas canvas and it goes on but no improvement and if I got to boot loader it shut downs after 2 seconds ....what can I do now and what happend to my device

I would say pay the factory to replace the battery hardware and maybe the bootloader? It sounds like you have a bad battery with a messed up bootloader (maybe from TRYing to root it?) [emoji57]

Thx I had bought new battery and how to replace the bootloader ,and when I was trying to hardreset my device it went off and everything went the way above I said

try flashing firmware using RSD lite.
give more info what were you doing with the phone when you bricked it.

which OS are you using on the PC , windows 10 doesn't support RSD lite. use 7or 8.

So you swapped your display and now your phone doesn't work? A hard brick is something completely different.
Does your screen even work?

Yes, it was detecting qusb port,
I use jtag too fix it.

I connected it with z3x jtag box, read dump from working phone by pinouts.. then just write dump too dead phone and it boots on bootloader, then i flash latest xt1563 file and phones work again.

Solution for home button and fingerprint dead

I just found a solution for home button and*fingerprint sensor not working.
Those*who are facing this problem should recover their device with oneplus 2 recovery tool. This will solve their problem 100% unless it is a real hardware issue.*
I was having same*problem and the *#808# test also gave results of "FAIL" . But i was pretty sure*that this is not a hardware issue. I was also facing the problem of 1+ logo which get stuck after any flashing whether it*is a rom, kernal or any other zip file. This*solution will guarantee solve everyone's problem.

Just follow the naman bhalla's guide for hard bricked phones on oneplus forums. Its not necessary that you use that guide only if ur device is hard bricked. U can use that guide for any recovery on your device

Is my Moto G4 Play dead ?

Hi, I have a huge problem with my phone.
Recently I flashed the stock ROM in version 6.0 for my moto g4 play and I tried to do the updates. during the second update, my phone went out and this is the hard brick I was running on Android 7.1 before so I think there's an incompatibility beetween the bootloader and the OS, that's why my device is bricked
Using Blank Flash I was able to start my phone in fastboot mode. But this process locked my bootloader.
atm I am in fastboot mode with a locked bootloader and USB debug not activated, what can I do ? I can't flash anything...

Hey I was on the same boat, my moto G4 play was out of warranty and with just ₹300 they fixed the software. If you are from Kolkata then visit the Chadni service center, the guys are really helpful and cooperative. Now this moto G4 boots and works. That blank file that you flashed from the other thread is not correct for XT1602. I learnt this from the service center. Just take it to the service center and they will fix it up for you.

They say that they have to change some pieces of the phone whereas it's just a firmware problem, to make me pay more... At that price, I'd better buy a new phone !
Really, is there a way to re-unlock bootloader without using developers options ? or is there a way to flash a ROM without an unlocked bootloader ? Thanks

I read that it's possible to force device to go in edl mode and then flash the ROM, but I don't know how to go to this mode with this phone .

Is there any way to restore it via fastboot ? Ty
