How to solve the "error: Unknown command [log]" message in Multirom twrp 3.0.2.0? Anybody got any solutions?
its not an error, just click on boot, it will successfully reboot to android n
It is because TWRP has not been updated to 7.x branch

I've been trying to flash Nougat ROMS on my OnePlus 2. Every time I flash a new ROM, the process says "patching system unconditionally" and ends with
E:/ unknown error[log]
E:/ unknown error[log]
Then when I reboot, I get a boot loop and stays at the OnePlus logo.
I've tried different versions of TWRP. I've flashed both CM14 and RR14. Both showing the same error. Both original zip files showed Error 7 at first. I changed the updater-scripts in the META-INF folder and rezipped it. This solved Error 7. That is when this showed up "E:/ unknown error[log]".
It's not an error. It's informing you that the system image is getting patched with new ROM.
Hi,
i use my Samsung Galaxy S5 with TWRP 2.8.6.0
I want to flash it with the new LineageOS.
During the process I got the error:
unknown command [log]
Error executing updater binary in zip
I used 2 different images with 2 different SD cards. I got the same error.
I think it is the right image. With the old cyanogenmod it was also the klte
Whats the problem?
Thank you in advance

Error trying to flash TWRP "Could not do normal boot. Invalid kernel length" [SOLVED]
My phone is SM-G935F. I followed the official instructions for installing the supported version of LineageOS - here - but after flashing TWRP with heimdall the phone won't boot. Error "Could not do normal boot. Invalid kernel length".

I found the answer myself, and will post it here as advice to others. I am running Ubuntu 18.04 and heimdall-flash from the official repository. I assume that that's the root of the problem, but don't know for sure.
Anyway, the solution is to use odin instead of heimdall to flash TWRP. Odin is a Windows-only program. The instructions and downloads are found here. It's quite easy and fast, and after booting into TWRP, just switch back to the official LineageOS installation instructions and continue with the 'adb sideload' command.
I've tried installing lineageOS and ResurrectionRemix ROM for my device (lenovo a6000)
When i try installing it through TWRP it responds with:
Code:
Installing zip file '[rom zip file]'
E3004: This package is for device: Kraft-T, a6000, A6000, Kraft-A6000; this device is .
Updater process ended with ERROR: 1
Fixed it myself by the way, seems like the boot.img was corrupted.
Re-flashing it solved it
Tablet [SM-P610](Android 11) was successfully unlocked & rooted.
However TWRP flash (using odin) failed!
I get the following error after flashing 'twrp-3.6.1_9-0-gts6lwifi.img.tar'
and tablet halts on boot!
"Error Verifying vbmeta image : invalid vbmeta header (6)"
Any suggestions as to how to fix this and flash TWRP successfully?
Any specific [SM-P610] vbmeta / TWRP Recovery .img.tar download links ?
Thanks!
Do NOT use TWRP, the current version is unfinished and won't ever be finished anytime soon. Use Lineage Recovery instead.
There is twrp for Android 12 ,, will be in comments iofntwrp.post
