Hi, I'm new to the V20. Is it possible to show the temperature on the second screen?
Thanks!
If you have a weather app that updates weather and has notification it may show on the second screen for a short while.
Weather bug does and it stays on the second screen when the display is off.

Disable/uninstall stock Weather App, it's very fugly anyways and install Yahoo Weather, allow it to show notification and then you'll have temp (in C or F) always in the status bar or second screen!
Weather Channel app also shows current temp in 2nd screen without it disappearing.
It's a paid app, but I highly recommend Weather Timeline
Attatched an image of what it looks like on the second screen.
Maybe its been updated but weatherbug shows on my second screen
how about disabling the date on second screen when is in lock screen, like some roms has it

I use "Transparent Clock and weather widget" from playstore. You don't need to use the widget part, just set via app settings.

Hey guys,
I have a problem: when I press on the clock widget on my homescreen it opens the world clock instead of the clock/weather. I never had this problem before and I'm not sure if it's rom related or if it's just a setting somewhere. I'm currently on arhd 5.1.3.
Thanks in advance!

Are you sure you don't have a littel bit big fingers? If you tap a little bit lower on the weather forcast the weather app should open.
I'm well aware of that, but I don't want to open the weather app, I want to open the clock app. Until now tapping on the clock opened the clock app, but now it opens the world clock tab. I haven't found a way around this on my own so that's why I'm asking for your help.

Same at my DHD. When tapping on clock, World Clock opens. Next step is to tap on Clock at bottom of opened widget. As i remember, this was always like this. I can't remember that the clock widget opened directly.

Yes, you have described exactly my problem. It wasn't always like this. With my dhd the clock app opened directly until now.

is there a way to open another app when you tap on the standard asus weather widget?
i tried using tasker but couldnt find a way, any other apps that can do this?
i want ironically to open the accuweather honeycomb app just by tapping on the asus weather widget
this would be great. tapping it to open the weeks forecast.
i stopped using the widget because i noticed that many times when id come back to my home page, the numbers (say 89 deg) was cut off. it was weird, but half og the numbers would end up "cut off" on the screen
I have the same problem, sometimes it's cut in half. But the weirdest thing is: Since the last update the temperature is wrong, about 10 C.
Just to chime in...
I also have the "cut in half" issue often. On top of that I don't get the temp updated on schedule. I set it to every hour and it will randomly update but not every hour. It may not be random, but I haven't spent enough time to determine the pattern.

My Samsung Galaxy S2 has such a widget, which opens the Accu Weather website, when being tapped on.
Search the market place, there's a free Accu Weather widget for Honeycomb with the same functionality, though the design isn't that nice looking for my taste.

It seems to be a bug in the widget, because the system logs say, the Accu Weather servers are unreachable. The widget of my SGS2 always reaches the same servers.

I used to have that, but since using ADW EX Launcher it's a thing of the past. It's almost as if the 'transparent' box which determines the size of the widget somehow becomes smaller so you can get the clean cut on the numbers.
With the ADW EX launcher, you can make the transparent box which controls the overall size of the widget a little bit bigger so you don't get the problem.

In my case the problem with the cut off numbers also didn't happen again ... don't know why. I don't use a different launcher, only a new keyboard. I use the Hackers Keyboard, because it has cursor keys, which come in handy, when answering forum posts

Download "The Weather Channel" app. You can place a widget on one of your screen, tap on the widget to open up the full weather app. I have the said app and works well. Just that the widget isn't as fancy as fancy as Asus' weather app.

Call me paranoid, but I would NEVER install a weather app, that needs the permission to send SMS and make phone calls. Ok, on the TF that's not a problem, but it makes me wonder, what info this app is trying to spy out ... read the details HERE.
I would stay away from this app.
I'd like to try to use DashClock but I can't seem to make it so it's always the screen/widget that comes up when I turn the screen on my phone. It always just goes back to the standard one the next time I try....
Help?
Delete all the pages besides the one with the DashClock widget and then if you want, add them back AFTER the DashClock widget is the only page left.

The one that shows up right when you turn on the display is always the 2nd screen furthest to the right. The 1st screen furthest to the right is always the camera widget. So if you want a particular screen to show up when you turn on the display, move it to that position.

Yeah, after you add the DashClock long press it and move it so it's just left of the camera widget. You can long press the standard widget and remove it as well.
Ah thanks you guys. Not sure why I couldn't figure that out Lol

Does anyone know if that white widget box to the left of the clock on the lock screen is normal? I've never seen it before. Lastly, is it removable?

I think the question is why does the area show up highlighted for an instant when there is no widget to display? It's especially noticeable in landscape orientation.

If you don't touch fairly close to the unlock symbol when you first start up from screen-off mode, the lock screen will let you swipe to another (perhaps not yet set) lock screen. That's what you're seeing. My problem is that I can't remember how to set up the secondary screen LOL!
Edit: Just swipe to the +, tap and add the widget. Too simple!
When I apply the large yota clock widget (the analog one that takes up most of the screen) to an EPD panel, it shows the city as 'Moscow' though the time on the large clock is right. The times on the three additional cities then seem to be wrong. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a setting I am missing?

Yes, location is on and it seems to work fine as the weather widgets show my exact location. It is just the large clock widget with the three times below it for additional cities. Its settings do not provide the option to specify a location. It looks like a bug to me unless someone else can try it and confirm it shows their location and not "Moscow" above the analog clock?

It's this one. It fits on the grid layout with two slots: one large one and one minimal one.

I didn't know that widget existed anyway mine shows my location but I was a disappointed to see it doesn't list all countries on the three clocks below.

OK thanks - that is strange as all other location-based services work fine on mine so I don't understand why I am seeing 'Moscow'. It's not a big deal as I'm not even that fond of that widget, but I just like to solve mysteries like this!
