Returning to Stock - LG V20 Questions & Answers

I decided that I did not want to keep the phone. I rooted it but I want to return it. How do I go about getting rid of the unlocked bootloader notification so i can return it to the store?

Regarding restoring back to OG

If I revert everything back to OEM status (so the radio and rom and all that, I know the bootloader ATM will stay unlocked) will I be able to get back to OTA updates and all that?
Not a HUGE concern for me right now, I don't plan on selling this or reverting back for a while, but I am just wondering so I know everything will be back to normal when I do decide to do that.

Sprint question

hi,
I have to send my epic back to sprint. its rooted. should i return it back to factory and send it or just send it back?
Woody
I always return mine to factory - 2 reasons.
1. Just in case there is a password or account info lurking on it.
2. The off chance they check for root.

How to return to stock VS980 Verizon

I need to turn in my LGG2 because Im doing a edge up for another device. How do I return this to stock? I have a back up of 4.2.2 can I just flash that and get away with it or do I have to return to 100% stock? I know with samsung its just ODIN back. How hard or easy is it for LGG2?

Noob question re bought half-rooted phone & poss issues if keep way it is?

I just bought what was meant to be a new factory unlocked HTC 10 online but it's actually half-rooted phone that was Sprint branded. As in Malwarebytes and Android Pay claim it's rooted but Root Checker says it's not rooted properly.
I'm also unable to open any free apps that require rooting (i.e., Titanium back up, Super SU), and checking for the latest Android software on my phone has a never-ending busy signal. Thus, I'm unable to wait for update to Oreo when it's released in a few months to unroot the noob way? I'm currently running Nougat.
I'd prefer the phone to be unrooted but I guess my concern is that if I revert the phone back I may not able to use the phone as it may be locked to Sprint? (I'm an Australian user). Is there anyway I can check this with the phone the way it is at the moment? If I just leave the phone not rooted correctly what issues will I run into while using the phone for next few years? What convenience apps (besides Android Pay) won't work?
Note: I'm also not keen on returning the phone as it's too much hassle and don't have a decent back up phone.

Re-lock bootloader

I have a TMO long ago converted to OOS & rooted. I'm trading it in & concerned Oneplus will reject it with an unlocked bootloader. My research suggests that it must be returned to full stock before re-locking. Does this mean just unrooting or do I have to return it to TMO stock. first?
