No, you can no longer downgrade your phone into 4.3 stock rom after flashing 4.4.2 leak..but you can still dowgrade to 4.3 Custom Rom or aosp or cm11 Have a nice day.
Sent from Hell ?
I already flashed the modem and bootloader of 4.4.2, is it still possible to go back to stock 4.3 ?

Sorry mate , you can no longer downgrade after flashing the latest Bootloader.
I received OTA update for android 6.0 in my spice dream uno. After I upgraded to 6.0 it started to face severe battery drain problems. My phone is unrooted. I need to know the method to downgrade it to 5.1.1. Thanks in advance.
Root and install custom recovery and flash stock lollipop rom or cm12.1

Nope.
It's easy to root and flash back stock rom. Just follow the guide and use Android ONE Toolkit to root and flash recovery.

Hey guys, everything I've read has said once you update beyond 4.3 you can never go back down because of knox. I also saw someone mention you actually can downgrade to a custom ROM based on a previous build just not to stock. Can anyone clarify this for me? I'm not worried about breaking my warranty since it's long since expired. I'm on the rooted 5.01 Goldeneye ROM and want to go back to a 4.2 ROM. strictly for tethering purposes
What is the model # for the s4?
It's the AT&T sgh-i337
With a locked bootloader, the phone is limited to customs roms based off a stock Samsung rom. Aosp and cm will not install or run.

Thanks for the reply! So if I stick to TouchWiz based custom roms I can downgrade without bricking my phone?
Yes, just don't touch the bootloader or modem.

Ok thanks. Can you suggest a good 4.2 ROM? Also, since I'm already rooted with safestrap, do I just wipe and flash the new ROM or do I need to install a different version of safestrap and kernal etc? I'm have trouble finding any instructions on how to downgrade. I appreciate all your help!
I can't recommend any 4.2 roms as I don't have the phone. Also, I don't think such an old rom will work on an lp modem and bootloader.

Ok so based on your statement "I don't think such an old rom will work on a lp modem and bootloader," does that mean you actually don't think I can downgrade?
You can try but I don't think you will have a functioning phone in that the imei will not be properly displayed which means the phone wouldn't be able to connect to the carrier.

Hi,
I am running the Android N firmware on Athene: Custom Rom RR_5.8.0
I was playing around with dual boot, and successfully, but I only tried the 7.0/7.1.1 custom ROMs.
Could I flash MM custom ROM to dual boot, or simply put, can I downgrade to a MM ROM without messing with the N firmware, with and without dualboot on separate occasions or do I need to flash stock MM?
Does it sort of have a backwards compatibility?
What sort of risks will I be looking at?
Thanks in advance, this community is wonderful!

Theoretically, the ROMs should not have any issue.

From what I've seen, ONE person had some issue with fingerprint recognition on MM after flashing an N ROM. Otherwise, I've encountered nobody who has had issues.
My phone is having issues and i dou t its cuz of the custom rom. I wanna try fixing sumofem by downgrading to stock flashable marshmallow rom or lollipop. So if u guys could help me thats would be great!
I cant flash back to stock by fastboot cuz my bootloader isnt allowing gpt while to be flashed so thats the reason i really need a flashable rom.
Even if i flash back with fastboot. I can only downgradd to 6.0.1 and when i do the camera isnt working alomg with the flashlight.
So fastboot downgrade isnt the option for me. What i need is a stock or only a lilbit modified custom rom based on the stock one.
Thanks in advance
