i am sorry if this is in the wrong place, I am kinda new here. But anyways, I have a rooted Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo SM-G903W running 6.0.1 Marshmallow with SuperSU installed. I know on Lollipop and Marshmallow you need to flash a file made for the certain phone to get Xposed. I have a Team Win Recovery Project 3.0.2-0 custom recovery on my phone. What I am trying to say is I can't find the xposed zip file or whatever for my phones model number and was wondering if you guys can help. Thanks in advance!

Plz do not Flash firmware of another variants on your phone. The model number is different it could brick your phone
I'm now attempting to port Android 6.0 SM-J510FN firmware to SM-J5108, but have no ideas cuz I didn't study computer in school...

ok friend, thank you very much for the tip, however if you have any information thank you to offer my greetings
Maybe one noob question:
Can I use J510FN firmware or custom ROM on J510MN w/o problems ir I would expect some bootloops?
probably would boot loop so don't do that
I wouldn't try that if I were you. While it is most likely that there will be a boot loop or the device will not boot at all, if it does, there is going to be some problems with WiFi and Bluetooth modem due to varying baseband.
Ok I searched up twrp file but couldn't find any my device is sm-a500g my software updated to 6.0.1 and the file I found were 5.0.1 someone can help me please
Sorry for the title It just got messed

Wondering about the same thing on a different Tab A device (10.1" sm-T550)
Rooted w Marshmallow, Debloated, Xposed, V4A, etc... And don't want to update only to find out I'd have to downgrade w Odin to reRoot the device. Thanks in Advance!
I have the same question.
Anyone running 7.0 who has rooted it?

Think you should be fine by flashing twrp and su 2.82 I can reccomend flashing twrp and straight to extremely custom rom by Luattic though. Rooted straight away, no bloatware and better performance!

Well I sucessfully rooted it on Android 7.0 Nougat and have found out that it has been updated to support the devices that are like mine so you should be able to root it by using the root pack!

Hi, this is my first thread and it's just to get an answer, so the question is:
I have a Samsung j5 2015 (j500fn), but i installed a Rom (Serenity v5.6) based on the Samsung Galaxy J5 2016, and since the first day it's running perfectly Android 7.1.1, just a few lag openning some programs but nothing worrying, and i don't know if i have root in this rom, when i open CPU-Z it apears "Root Access: Yes" but i don't have even SuperSu or something like that.
When i openned SuperSu installed from PlayStore, it shows me a message (SU Binary occupied).
Previously in the Official Rom (6.0.1) i was using SuperSu, i still have TWRP recorery.
So i want to know if to root i need the j500fn supersu files or the j510fn ones.
Thanks in advance.
