So yesterday I got my N910F back from t-mobile it got repaired with a dead motherboard (under warranty) because I somehow hard bricked it. (so i basically rooted and still had the warranty)
now I'm looking for a nice clean (dont care if stock) ROM, which has better battery than stock and which is debloated and all that ****.
I don't need all these extra fancy note 7 features, I just want a phone that is fast and which battery lasts the whole school day..
If you guys could reccomend me some ROMS, thatd be great

Battery on KitKat is best . But if you want 6.0.1 , then go for dr.ketan rom.
It is stable and battery efficient.
Reporting via N910G.

thanks but dr. ketan rom looks pretty messy IMO
I want that stock experience, dr. ketan has all these root apps and such installed..
Has Dr Ketan produced a KitKat ROM version for the N910F at any point in time? I only trust his ROMs to use as a daily driver. His MM version is the best out there and is absolutely amazing but I do not like the power management options that Google has built into MM.

Hi! I just sold my LG G2 and bought myself this phone! So i got just a few fast questions for you guys
Is there any AOSP roms like cm/pa/carbon thats stable for our phone?
Is the phone rooted/recovery able?
is there any stock roms worth mentioning? Thinking about battery + stability and ofcourse performance.
I heard OMEGA was a good rom, but it's been a while since i had a samsung device, so any info you have would be great! And if i should look into other roms aswell that you think is intresting(not best).
Hoping for some real good answers! Thank You.

I hope you're informed that whatever you do, you will trip KNOX. KNOX is your warranty, and is irreversible.
Once you passed that dilemma, you should try temasek's CM11 for AOSP. Very good for battery life.
It is recovery-able, provided you know that you will be tripping KNOX.
Stock ROMs? Use the latest 4.4.2 KitKat pre-rooted. Stock meaning on Samsung firmware but is a custom ROM, give X-Note a try, if you're ready for updates every few weeks. Also try Omega or Echoe. But the majority of the community is currently lingering around X-Note as it is the most bloated in awesome tweaks, gets all the updates, all features you'd expect and much more.
Everything I said are for the N9005, so if you have the Exynos version, these ROMs won't work, you will need to use Exynos ROMs such as Criskelo or TR-ROM.
exynos user here,
Dr. ketan's rom offers many options to customize your note, but it's not for casual user like me.
Criskelo's rom offers more moderate and user friendly customization with nifty interface.
TR-Rom offers easy installation, a little change from stock interface, and great performance. my choice for now.
Hi,
i am looking for a custom rom for i9505
my requirements are: (by order of imprtance)
1. S5/NOTE4 touchwiz look and feel + features
2. NO fast dormancy! (my carrier does not support this feature)
3. stability
4. battery life
5. performance
I tried goldfinger V8 rom, it looks great but it has FD on, and i could not find a way to disable it.
any recommendation / advice would be most appreciated
thanks!

5. performance

stay on stock if u want good battery life.
if u really want a lollipop rom that badly go for the rom from danvdh.
custom roms are useless. it's only for people with too much time.
install stock rom, root it, debloat it and if u want custom rom features just install xposed.
no need for any custom roms because they are always worse if it gets to battery life.
if u say otherwise u have no idea ... it's ok if u have fun flashing roms all day and like to try that and that but don't say it works perfectly fine and especially that the battery life is as same as good or even better (i lol everytime i read this in a custom rom thread)
Try phoenix rom 10.2, or Albe rom. Both excellent

I am about to root my NOTE 3 for the first time. What can i expect ? Can i expect from some ROM ´s to run for months/year as good as this official LP that i got right now ? Is it reliable as official one ? What ROM ist the best ?
And then , can i download nexus 6 theme that would change ROM ´s TW loook ? Or should i download Rom with nexus 6 look ? And what about S6 ROM ? Is it stable and worth going for ? What is battery life like ? Thx.
There are loads of Custom ROMs

After root,
you can install AdAway, Xposed (not 100% stable in Touchwiz based ROMs), Servicely, etc
Also you have loads of ROMs like, AryaMod (TW based), Liquidsmooth, CM12 nightlies (few have connectivity issues with Wear) etc
You can flash themes once you root and install a customer recovery like Philz or TWRP
You can find all info in Development and Apps & Themes threads...

You can expect full access to your device.
You can do a lot of things, basically endless amount of stuffs. Your demand will continue to go high and more high, that's the only bad part about rooting a phone
Just some examples would be, AdAway (make your phone completely Ad free), then Xposed modules, Wanam Xposed, XPrivacy and so many others.
About ROMs or Kernels, well, you can't ask which ROM is best as per some XDA rule, but I would suggest you stay on Stock based ROMs. Just flash any Deodexed version (give a look at Alexander's topic, those are basically stock ROM, Deodexed, and without bloats), install a kernel of your liking, CivZ I will suggest, (you can stay on stock if you like), then install those apps and have fun.
As for S6/ Note 4 based ROMs, I don't want to comment about all that. If my experience servers me anything then no ported ROM could be as stable as a ROM meant for Note 3 only. You might have fun with those ported ROMs, for a month, a couple of month maybe, but then you will start to notice small issues and it might annoy you, and that's certainly not my cup of tea. But if you are okay with all that then go on, no problem at all.

I have been using it as a daily driver for the past several months.
It runs Touchwiz UI and has features similar to Galaxy S5.
No issues of overheating or battery drain outs so far.
thanx a lot for the suggestion buddy i just installed it and its working like a charm
Hi guys,
After a disappointing stay at Oreo for several months, I downgraded to Nougat. Things are a bit better but far from marshmallow I recalled when I got the phone.
I got a bit older so I am not so fond of trying different roms every month.
So before downgrading to stock marshmallow for good , is there any other rom with a better battery performance? I just need a stable rom (I don't care if it is not supported anymore) with the most optimum battery life.
Is that too much to ask?

Best battery life without you having any involvement would probably be straight stock.. You can get as good battery life as you want with any rom by taking control, with root apps for disabling system services and apps, firewall, kernel tweaks, etc... If you're not interested in doing the work, just use straight stock rom with Greenify or something.
OmniROM, actually the best battery/performance ROM on this device http://dl.omnirom.org/kugo/

Levone1, my attempt to do so in Oreo failed miserably
It was better though, but far from ideal. Maybe though I didn't mess with kernel, so I can't really blame Oreo (yet!).
