Sometimes when am using music player and try to low the volume it should be spontaneously once I press volume up or down to alter volume of sound however my device sometimes stuck on lowering mic or ringtone and I cannot lower my sound volume except by taping on screen volume setting and figure out to media manually... This bug is so frustrating... Any idea??
I personnaly don't have this bug. Which firmware version are you running?
I have same problem: When I try to volume up / down my music it only volumes up / down my ringtone volume. I think it is an firmware issue, I didn't have this bug on B130 but now on B151.
Try disable SWS effect..

Hi
I have an odd problem with my XDA2s.
If I play a media file the speaker and wired headset volume is fine.
If i make or receive a call the volume is very low (even when set at maximum on both the XDA and the wired headset).
Has anyone seen this problem before or is aware of a fix?
Cheers,
The in call volume level isn't controlled by the sliders at the top of the screen but by the volume hardware slider on the side of the phone during a call. Try just pushing it up during a call.
While trying to adjust the volume on the HTC music player tab using the left hardware volume rocker the music temporarily cuts for about 2-3 seconds before the volume changes. There is no visual volume indicator on the screen either. Also the increments are pretty large.
I am running 1.48
Does anyone have this problem? Help please!
Is it possible to change the volume in youtube, musicplayer or coreplayer without affecting the system volume, I am bored to have to adjust the system volume every time I change the volume in youtube or other application that has sound, for example if i put the volume in youtube on maximum, my ringtone and notification sounds are put also on maximum. Is there a way to solve this issue?
Hi,
Is that normal?

Uhhh all those have different volumes so check them individually
I know I can check individually. That's not a problem.
The problem is that Media volume stays loud even if I mute everything else with button in notifications. To mute Media sounds I must do that manually each time.

That's normal
No that's not. You mute the sound hoping it's muted but actually it's not muted. And if you launch a game or a video in the place you are expected to be quiet....

Need a solution to. This problem the sound is low ringtone or music and i don't have root and don't want to root it
Same here. At 100% volume, ringtone is low. Hard to hear when in pocket and outdoors. Not an issue with other past phones.

This is what bugs me, too. When you go through the ringtone selection process the playback is actually loud, but when someone call you it seems like the volume went down a few notches.
Same here volume is low

Try using Viper4Android, or my personal choice: Dolby Atmos.
I have seen significant improvements in overall sound after tweaking.
(but also note, that by simply pressing Vol once, and the vol popup appears, select the 'Gear' icon, and you can change volume for different types of audio: Call, Music, Alarms, Notifications) - It may be that your Master volume is high, but for example your Call volume is on low?
I don't know what ringtones you guys choose for. But for me it is loud enough. Also notification
