Take a Photo Without Touching Your Phone
This is a trick I've been using on my Honor 8. We will combine a Google Now command and the voice control feature to create this trick.
First enable "Ok Google" detection to be activated from any screen.

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Then go to your default camera app and turn on Audio Control.
Now you can use the command-
"Ok Google, Take a Picture"
"Cheese"
and your phone will take a photo.
Great trick from taking pictures when you're on your bike or only have one hand available.
Just comnecr a bluetooth headset and press volume button on the headset to click picture, same works with wired one also

Is it possible to change microphone sensitivity via some Android API?
I want to do this to be able to set sensitivity of the microphone when recording. When you record now the microphone tries to compensate for the sound that are silent, that makes (sudden) loud noises go over what the phone can record.
Look at this image:

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
If you set the microphone to be less sensitive the pink bars would go up, making low sounds unrecordable but higher sounds won't loose it peaks.
I don't care if the phone has to be rooted to do this but I want to be able to set microphone sensitivity via an apk.
I have "u-connect" in my jeep, and it's very convenient to make and receive calls thru the jeep's speakers, but I like the s-voice interface so I want to use that to make the calls...but it doesn't work in the jeep when Bluetooth is enabled.
Anyone have any workarounds for this?
TIA!
No one else had had this issue?
Rather than assume you're doing everything right:
In settings language and input, make sure you have voice recognizer set to Samsung.

Make sure hands free is enabled in settings and svoice
I don't have vehicle bluetooth, but this works with my headset.

Hey Guys I'm proposing to my girlfriend today and my friend has an S5. We can't figure out how to enable Simultaneous HD video and image recording so we can take photos while we video record.
I have a note 3 and this has never been an issue... Any idea how to enable it??
If I understand what you're asking, when you start recording video there will be several buttons to right of screen. The stop button, pause button, and the camera button. Tapping the camera button instantly takes a pic of what's on the screen. I'll attach a screen shot of what mine looks like. This is with the stock camera app.

Hi, I can't understand why when I'm using maps navigator in full screen mode, randomly, it just shifts to Picture in Picture mode. I do not press home button.
Don't know if it a bug or if it happens to someone else. I think it is pretty annoying.

Something I can do (except totally disable pip)?
:good:
Go to settings- apps- (upper right) special access- pictures in picture. Find maps in the list and turn off allow. YouTube have a switch built into the app itself. GL
