I was wondering if anyone had a stock weather widget that was transparent. I looked around on the net for a little bit but didn't find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciate.

BIGMASE23 is correct. My US996 is rooted, running nova, but none of the stock LG widgets are available.

That's very odd, I remember when Nova Launcher used to use root to import stock widgets.

Well unfortunately it doesn't work like that anymore

Third party luanchers will not work with the stock weather widget. I use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.droid27.transparentclockweather as it allows customization of the widget and transparency. Works well FYI.
Does anyone have working lg weather apk?

I can't get the lg world app to work on the At&t variant of the G2. The only reason I want it is to download theme icons. Any ideas or work around? My model number seems to be the issue because I know of it works on the int'l version

If you are rooted you can install Unicon from Play Store and then you'll have access to hundreds icon packs made for most popular launchers (Apex, Nova...). It works for stock LG Home launcher as well.

This is Nox icon pack. Btw, I've installed custom recovery as well. Not sure if it's necessary for Unicon to work properly. Hopefully someone will chime in with answer.

You can use Desktop VisualizeR to change your icons to any packs you want. No rooting required...download in the play store along with any packs you want. Super easy.

I use a widget from the market called "Android Weather & Clock Widget" and I'd recommend it to anyone using the LG stock launcher. It has a 5x3 widget size (among other smaller ones) that fits perfectly on your home launcher page. It also can show lots of info, like next alarm, battery level, and tons of weather info. And of course, it can be set to completely transparent. Have a look:
Thanks not bad widget!

Been searching for a replacement for the stock weather widget because it just doesn't work with deodexed ROMs. This is the best I've seen yet. Thanks for the suggestion drkow19.

It's not nova that does the transparency it is the G2 xposed mods. It does a ton of customizations. Check it out http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2528304 it works with a lot of launchers not just nova. (I have only tried the Google experience one and nova)

I was just going to post how did you get your notification bar too look like that. I realized that the lg one should still be intact even if you change the launcher. Good Job hopefully we can get some of that soon.

Same answer as above http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=48129802&postcount=11 it is apart of the G2 Xposed mod. That thing is awesome! You can also add different items to the navigation bar. I added recent apps

I personally prefer Google launcher, the only problem I've had and that made me go back to TouchWiz is that when you put the phone on Ultra Power Saving Mode, it kept deleting my layout and only leaving a couple things in one screen
It's subjective. Betty/Wilma, peas/carrots, beer/wine. I use Google Launcher.
I was just looking for that. Sorry, but where can I find Google launcher?

I've used the Google Now launcher since the day I got the phone. It's fast and smooth, and folders work as they should.
New to the V20. Awesome device! Anyway, as the title says, I'm looking for a mod, app, theme etc that can help. I've searched but came up empty. I appreciate any help.

Download Nova launcher from the Google Play Store, the premium version will allow you to change the size of icons and make them transparent like you asked, including the Nav Bar.

It's ok, but that's generally what I'm looking for but system wide. The nav bar becomes the same color as the app you're using. Similar to Dynamic Navbar for Nexus/Pixel devices.

Didn't say apps doesn't work with it, I said it doesn't play nice. In other words, the app is buggy with others..... showing random colors at times. A easy fix is to close and relaunch the app, but that's more trouble than it's worth.
