No
Come on, man.
You can switch mobile data on and make "x" disappear and become the label of LTE or H signal.
Please spend more time to figure out where switch is !

the problem is not the x at the top.
if you switch wifi off and mobile data on, there will be a H or LTE or... but also another x at the bottom right corner of the signal bars, and mobile data won't work. there are already more threads about cm14.1. also there is a new build (29th) by santosh (in QA subforum) which i still havn't tested
edit:
Santhosh fixed the mobile data problem. its working fine on the Oct30th build

it's a public link to developers public website...
Informing others about a ROM that is on the internet is not in contrast with any rules. Besides if he wants to make a thread on XDA he can post his work in Development section and people will use his official thread, or if he doesn't want others to enjoy his work ( which I'm pretty sure it's not the case ) he can just take his links down
I think you are overreacting ...
Why this thread to just share file? There is already thread by developer @Santhosh M here in Development Section

This would have been fine if the developer was not active on this site, but he is and is updating his rom. Don't see a need to open up a thread to share a link which is already posted on the developers thread. What purpose does this thread serves beats me, other than increasing OP's post count.

All my work is being done on an internet cafe. I pay 2 euros per hour just to answer the comments you make and then if i have time manage my downloads and upload more. I also have to to move many files with a usb that i bought just for this. Believe me the computers there are really slow. Its not going to be like this forever. Please be patient. A moderator please temporary close this thread and open when i have a download link available.
please do not post rom threads without download link. It is considered placeholders and they are not permitted in XDA dev section. Thread closed, please OP contact me when you have a download link to a working rom (at least booting rom). Best regards,

1.Unlocking your Bootloader
Credits : matmutant
Files : Adb&Fastboot.zip
Motorola gives u the option to unlock the Bootloader on itz website. No need of any hardships. Just go to Unlocking Bootloader to do it. (They say it voids the warranty of the phone am not sure about that). You can also relock your bootloader later.
To boot into bootloader first power down your phone and then click the VOL DOWN + POWER button for 5-7 seconds. In the Bootloader the VOL DOWN button is to move around and VOL UP is to enter the selected menu. The POWER button is to exit the Bootloader.

2.Flashing Custom Recovery (CWM/TWRP/PHILZ)
Our device has 3 types of recovery. It is upto you to decide whichever you want. But ultimately all recoveries are for the same purpose and flashing method is same except that the file changes. So decide your recovery mode headover to these thread and download the latest versions:
1.CWM Recovery
2.CWM Advanced Recovery(PHILZ)
3.TWRP Recovery
The last two are touch based whereas the first is non-touch-based. Download the latest recovery of your choice, rename it to "recovery.img" and copy it to the adb&fastboot folder. Boot the device into Bootloader and now type this:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Thatz it go into recovery and u will notice the change!!

3.Rooting (JB/KK)
Credits : Cooptx
Files : Superuser.Zip
Make sure you have a custom recovery before doing this. Download and copy the files to the root of your SD card. Boot into Bootloader. Now navigate and select Recovery. Now select "Install Zip from SD card". Select the zip and wait. After Install gets completed, select "Reboot system now" and when it asks for a fixing the root, select "yes". You will now be able to see the SuperSu app when your Moto G boots.

It is annoying to see that Unlocked Bootloader warning everytime it boots. Thanks to Orphee we have a fix. Actually there are a lot of logos but this is the one i like and the proceedure will be the same for all logos though just the files differ. Just head over to the Remove Unlocked Bootloader Warning download the attachment unzip it and copy it to the fastboot folder. Now boot into Bootloader and type this:
Code:
fastboot flash logo logo.bin
Reboot and see the change.

6.Relock Bootloader
Sometimes you may want to relock your unlocked bootloader for the sake of replacement or warranty claiming or even service! Just type the following codes before and after flashing your stock firmware(see point 4) in adb.
Code:

[COLOR=Green]/* flash stock firmware */[/COLOR]

Thread Updated!
If anything new comes up and i fail to notice please comment here or PM me!
Thank you very much. This is what I need.
I need clarification for point #6 in the first post.
Is there anyone (people not living in EU) who's successfully getting free repair under warranty after relocking the bootloader? I'd like to stress this exact words once again: "people not living in EU"
Can we even fool Motorola that the phone was never hacked? The bootloader status will be labeled as 2 (relock after unlock), instead of 1 (locked). 3 means unlocked IIRC.
Is Motorola that stupid? I don't think so.
Please clarify that point again by giving some proofs.
that is really a valid point bro but i dont think they may validate it for software defects but for hardware related defects they will replace..yes u were right abt the status code! will update abt it if i know! thanks for the info!!

The OP author @yeshwanthvshenoy could ask the respective Stickied OP authors to add some info if he feels its incomplete. Thus, creating less confusion for the noob, 1st time users and other users. Thus, making their early experience at XDA a smooth one and every one has crystal clear picture in their mind regarding all necessary information. It will further encourage them to use their device with different flavours (AOSPA, CM, Carbon...) or Xposed apps and their special features.
Well, if the OP has a strong reason for maintaining this thread then I don't have any problem.

Well mate, we don't have any personal issues with you and if that's the case (referring to your above post) I don't have any problem with this thread if u adhere to the following 3 important points.
You will keep the index of all the DUAL SIM stuffs if they actually work on those variants and all the necessary changes to be made to the device for flashing them. Thus, making it noob friendly. So, maybe testing by you or your trustworthy source will be referred.
You will keep unique info and no redundant data. And, if the case is such that the particular data is quite necessary for the thread. Then, copy it with the permission of the thread author and give proper credits.
And, post link to the topics which are already in sticky threads if the information is worth reading for the users coming to your thread.
So, If you adhere to the above points I won't have a single issue with your thread. Lets wait for @Mr hOaX's response.

Hey guys,
I've successfully compiled and am currently using CarbonROM.(https://carbonrom.org/) I haven't found any bugs so far. I will be releasing this to everyone tonight when I get off of work and it will be posted in the dev section. Just giving you guys a heads up of whats coming!
All the features work as long as you wipe and flash correctly. I love these pie controls, no more navigation bar.
BTW, I have the Virgin Mobile version of this phone.(a5_chl) It should work on other variants too.
I will be porting over other ROM's as well.
'The only thing that is keeping me from giving it to you guys right now is uploading it.

AOSP ROM for Galaxy S6
YOUR WARRANTY IS NOW VOID, I AM NOT RESPONSABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO YOUR DEVICE
This is an AOSP Rom for the following models of the Galaxy S6: G92xF/FD/I/T/W8/K/L/S . It's running stock google applications, and it is completely debloated. I am having some trouble porting the System UI and the Setup Wizard, so in the stable version the System UI is Goodlock and it's using the stock Samsung setup wizard. The unstable version is running on stock android Marshmallow System UI and is using the stock android set up wizard. This version is unstable so it may crash several times.
You will need a rooted device with a custom recovery installed to flash it.
To install:
- Copy the ROM zip to your internal of your Phone
- Reboot to recovery mode (TWRP)
- Do an Data/Factory reset first in your recovery
- Start the installation of the ROM.
MAKE SURE TO HAVE A BACKUP IN CASE SOMETHING GOES WRONG
Download completely stock (unstable) version of the rom in post 2.
Download semi stock (stable) version of the rom in post 3.

Welcome to XDA but if you plan to continue creating this kind of threads you'll lose your account pretty soon.
Read rules here.
You can also read this if you didn't understand rules.
A quick tip : TW ROM with Good Lock Ui isn't an AOSP ROM AT ALL!

They already released DUv11 (initial release) for shamu and working for others.
Like hammerhead and others.
I was speaking of the official Moto X Play DU thread here on xda. It was closed two days ago on OP's request, so probably no more updates from him.

Dude, don't you ever use "DU updater".
We don't need any thread for new updates... Thread is for discussion.
I hope you are right and thread was closed temporarily during the move, which would also explain why the du updater failed to connect to their server...

Oneplus 3 is also closed... but until DU11 comes up said OP.
If you guys know why they want to leave xda please share your info as i follow DU g+ thread and even if i could saw some, how could i say, reluctance for xda from time to time i never read a clear "go away" or i missed something while sleeping under a rock.

They have moved to a new site. Dev-base.com
And regarding the DU 11, it's already available for nexus phones. Ours will take some time.
