Is it possible to set a boot animation on this device? And can you change it back to the standard one by just flashing the stock rom?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.chainfire.liveboot Like this ? there is many others, root needed.

But can you change it back by flashing stock firmware? Or are there different ways?
I've try the one from the first link, it's just an APK , you can uninstall it and you come back to stock splash screen

Whatever i reboot my phone, it will stuck in bootlogo and boot again...a way to reboot normally is to wipe dalvic cache and cache...but by doing that, it will always do a Android is Upgrading and will load about 5 to 10 minutes until it's finished...so it's a long time to wait for me to use my phone for every reboot...
I constantly changing my Sim card, so a reboot is necessary....this problem never occur to me before...i have flashes new rom evertime but the problem still persis....but i always dirty flashes every one of them...i also do a restore system and kernel image but not data..but still the same....i have to many apps and setting to do a clean flash...is their any other way beside that.

I found this when searching for a fix...
After gapps is flashed into my Galaxy S4, I kept getting "Android is Upgrading" on every reboot.Following steps had helped me to get rid of it.*
Open */system/framework*folder with Root Explorer*delete*com.google.widevine.software.drm.jar and*com.google.widevine.software.drm.odes delete*com.google.widevine.software.drm.xml*in*system/etc/permissions Now , reboot your device.
Will their be consequences when deleting these files...

Yes...but i always use it before but no problem....it only occur now...
And the custom rom is pre-installed with xposed...you think maybe some of the mod is the culprit or the whole xposed is at fault...

If you upgraded from 4.4 KitKat to 5.0 Lollipop you should update Xposed. Flash the newest Xposed, which fix bootloop problems and write if this was helpful.

If you were making your flashable prerooted .zip, you should use xposed-sdk21-arm-20150430.zip from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
Or, if you can, write how did you make your .zip or how did you upgrade to 5.0 Lollipop.

Thanks for the advise on clean install...
I did however manage to solve the problem when flash the latest xposed alpha 4...so the culprit is xposed all along...but the funny thing is, its seems superuser mod is unable to stick in my rom...some of the quick setting, and themes is stock even though i have used a mod themes....

I want to sell the phone on - which I'm a bit sad about, as I quite liked this one !
I've downloaded the stock ROM for CyanogenOS.(two versions, one is fastboot)
How do I return this phone properly to stock - with the ZUK boot logo, I'm guessing that it doesn't really matter if it's rooted or the bootloader is unlocked as it doesn't warn on these things - but I'm guessing I need the stock recovery and make sure it can get OTA updates??
I've looked and I don't see a guide on this??
Anyone wanting to know how to do this:

Is their anyway to revert back to stock eui rom? Either 18s or 19s?
I just want to go back to straight out of the rom for the Le pro 3 Us variant x727 currently on Cm.13
I had a backup on twrp but it went missing is no longer available.
Does anyone have stock rom download or a twrp backup they would share with me?
Currently have root amd twrp and know my way around things so no need for stepa by steps help. Just need a way to revert back.

Download stock recovery, then reboot to recovery, then use the Update system.
I have the stock recovery file that you can flash, if you wont find it.

How did that go? If you got it working, do you mind if I ask how so I can do it as well?
Well first of all ot worked flawlessly. I have a stock eui backup 20's and a custom slim rom. Long story short.
Boot into twrp
Select your stock backup
Flash everything, Data, System, Boot
Clear dalvik/cache
Reboot system
Takes about a good 10 minutes to fully boot up
If you look in other threads their is a couple backups of the stock 20's that you can use.
Hello,
I want to try some custom roms as I just picked up this phone but want a stock rom/firmware before I do. I could not find the exact stock firmware/rom which my phone is on when looking through the File Factory folder. (http://www.filefactory.com/folder/c6cdedc45a775d27/?sort=filename&order=ASC&show=100&page=9)
Will any XT1601 rom/firmware with the same build number work?
My phone is an XT1601 on build MPI24.241-15.3, Baseband Version M8916_20250106.08.05.14R HARPIA_LATAM_CUST.
Would the following work? Will I receive OTA updates if I flash back to this at a later point?
XT1601_HARPIA_MPI24.241-15.3_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip
Thanks in advance and please let me know if I need to provide any further info!

There is a download-able stock rom for xt1601. So you can always flash back to that stock after trying some custom roms.
I did mine (tried AOKP and flashed back to stock). I was able to receive OTA too.
I have no way near my pc so cannot get link to xt1601 stock and copy here. Trust that if you do a search you can find it.

The system is working fine but problem is the theme manager.
Whenever i install a new theme an apply it nothing happen, even if I tried ti change the icon pack nothing happen. The same theme, same wallpaper, same icons, same everything.
