[Q] Manual Camera

Is there any camera software that can make me access manual mod
I've tried "Camera FV-5" and when I change exposure value the app hangs and closes immediately
what's matter ?

Hi, manual camera come with new update MM for P8. You can download it (just search on google). It allows you to change iso, wb, focus and shutter speed

EDIT. Not true, Manual camera compatibility test shows its fully uncompatible, but i think you was thinking stock camera with manual features, didnt you?

[REQUEST] Google Pixel 2 Camera Port

I installed the pixel camera port ( GCam5.1.018-Arnova8G2-V1.4 ) on my oneplus 2, but it force closes. I also tried GCam5.1.018-Arnova8G2-V1.3, it opens but gets stuck with a camera icon in middle with black screen.
I'm using los 15.1.
I have attached log and screenshot. It would be great if you could look into this.

Camera Nx and Gcam 5.1.018 not working.
Hi, I am in Pixel Experience 8.1 and when I open camera app it crashes or gets stuck on the Camera logo.
Please help.

None of the gcam port works on our device.......even the redmi 4x has one with working hdr+ !!! Please someone look into it.

Do not make changes to the settings. Use as it is. If force close happens, go to "About App" and clear the data.

Im using it without any prob and trust me we can have a fun with AR stickers too.

Thanks for these link...but here the main focus is to get that amazing portrait mode working on oneplus 2....google camera works but ar and all are just mimics ... portrait is the real deal?

you can take portrait images from both cameras with average quality with above version. it is available under lense blur option.but it does the job well. i have tested .

Hi I m using OP2 and I downloaded this app and install it. But it never opens. Every time I try to open the app it stucks in a black screen and in the middle the camera icon. How can I run this in my OP2 please help.

It opens and I can click pictures, but when I select portrait mode, it stucks with portrait icon with black screen. I have attached the log and screenshot.

Which ROM you are using??

Hey guys i wanna share LIB MOD made by @defcomg soo big thanks to him for fixing it for us [emoji16]
for fix long exposure on oreo based rom(rebase from new oreo source)
As all of you know shutter speed doesnt seems work properly on mi5 after oreo update(custom rom) even on stock miui rom
This mod only for OREO rom with new rebase source
Tested on AOSIP ROM 8.1.0 LATTEST BUILD
You can try on other OREO ROM rebase with new source
Benefit :
- fully working manual control 32s
- max ISO 100-4000
How to:
Backup current lib just in case its not work on your rom u can always restore

Q: why shutter speed set 10s on fredcam but reach 20s for taking photo?
A: its normal its a bug from camera api2 it self but nothing affect the shutter all working normal ,all you need its be a patient and a tripod

A:yes its fc but photo saved fine u can check on your galery app

Miui cam doesnt work on oreo due to compability i guess,but atleast you can use other camera app such as fv5 camera freDcam or lumio camera it has great manual comtrol feature:laugh:

does this work side by side with the other libhack?

I've noticed that with eszdnmman's libhack, the iso can go below 100, not sure if there's any actual difference though. Is it possible for you to enable lower iso too?

As long if other mod didnt replace two file of mine it will be ok to be installed

Actually in this mod lower iso is 100 may be it possible to get bellow 100 but for what? Min100-4000 its good enough btw ,there is some limitation on the camera itself

Flash work fine here make sure ur device temperature is stable oneplus camera will disable flash light if temperature of device reach 43+
Make sure use normal photo to use flash
Manual mode doesnt provide flash in all manual camera app

Flash doesn't work for me with the OnePlus camera app, it turns on during the focus but then doesn't stay on when it actually takes the picture and my phone is as cold as an ice block

Yes! Tested serval apps for pro mode(including nokia camera, op cam, etc) but no luck. May be device has some cons.
Does anyone know about working pro mode camera ? If yes please share ...

Can you provide a screenshot of camera2 probe(or any other camera 2 api test app) app?

Gcam MGC 6.1.021 by BSG Settings

Hello,
this thread is actually nothing special, I've just found some settings to get good results out of these Gcam apks and I'd like to share them here.
This is tested on the latest Stock Pie (10.0.2.0) and it works on my device.
So, first of all you have to enable Camera2API obviously (https://forum.xda-developers.com/mi-a2/how-to/how-to-enabling-cam2-gcam-android-t3868766), but I think you're all familiar with that at this point.
Download one of these apks: https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/dev-bsg/
(I'm on the latest one) or if you prefer an Arnova version based on MGC by BSG (No PixelMod).
After that go into settings->BSG MOD settings.
Input Model: Set "Interface Style" to "Pixel II" (there are some focus issues with Pixel III), "Back Camera" to "Pixel 3 XL", "Front Camera" to "Nexus 6P" and "Config" to "Pixel2018 ZslR Hdr+"
FIX: Set "RAW Format" to "RAW10(default)" (this should already be set), "Image Format" to "YUV_420_888 (default)" and enable "Enable Motion" if you're into motion photos.
After that close the app, clear its cache and start it again.
If you experience some FC, try to clear again the cache and restart the app.
Now you should get a fairly stable Gcam with good performance, at least this is the best I've tried so far.
Portrait mode, HDR+, HDR enhanced and HDR OFF all work, burst photos work, Motion photos work, Night mode work, front camera works, panoramic works.
The only broken thing is Slow Motion.
The Camera will crash if you try to take a picture with Flash and HDR+ on OFF, but to me it's not a big deal since I never turn it off unless I want to take a burst. Anyway if you set "Pixel2018 Zsl Hdr+" in "Config" you should get this to work as well, but you'll lose Motion Photos. it's up to you here.
So that's it, if you find any better Setting, please share it

Sorry for maybe hijacking the post but i was using a gcam for nokia 7 plus which has the same 660 chip found here https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/dev-backrider/ . I found it to be really stable too except 4k which doesnt work.

No hijack, don't worry!
I'm trying it and it works mostly fine, but it looks like it FC a bit more often than the BSG version (maybe it's just an impression of mine).
Anyway the main think I dislike about the non-BSG versions is that you can't select "Pixel II" as the interface and you lose tap to focus, which makes the app completely unusable to me.

Currently I'm trying Eszdman new, Savitar is too noisy for my tastes... But I still have to experiment actually
