I just came out the radio shack & the rep tolds me the nexus prime was coming out for verizon not sprint! This Sucks the nexus prime should come out for all
carriers if this is true then its Galaxy S 2 for me

Sprint would be stupid not to carry it. I highly highly doubt Verizon will be the only CDMA carrier with it. The only reason they are speculating is because someone saw a FCC doc specing out LTE radio and not a WiMax version.
I hope this the case I never had a nexus so that's what I wanted but if sprint doesn't get it which would suck if google wants to defeat apple Iphone they need to push it out to all the carriers not just one & the iPhone coming to sprint please google Nexus Prime to sprint to help the underdog not the big bad verizon & there Expensive plans with caps!! I doubt it would just switch to Verizon maybe they add it to Verizon but not remove from sprint.

I agree 100% with this. I think they're going to put it out for almost all carriers to really compete with the iPhone. I think Google and Sprint are becoming quite close, and it would be a shame if they didn't release it on Sprint's network.
Besides, why trust a regular employee?

Why would they release a nexus device as an iphone killer. Its meant as a test and dev handset, not a phone so easy an iphone user could deal with it.

You never know if some sort of contract expired between the nexus and sprint.. after all the year 2012 is creeping on us..
If it drops for VZW, I may seriously consider switching to Big Red. Not just because of the phone, but the crappy Sprint network: after today's aftershocks due to VA earthquake, I got busy signal on Sprint (and T-mo prepaid, for that matter) but after flipping over to VZW using RoamControl got through easily
Didn't Sprint announce that they are going to be going the LTE route? Also has the maker of the nexus prime even been confirmed yet?

Confirmed? No. Strongly suggested with a decent amount of backup, mainly the screen? Yes, Samsung.
But, it's all just rumor for now. Even the phone as a whole. Release date has been tabbed from October to Thanksgiving to December. No one has given a firm month, let alone real date.
I'm really hoping for October, just so I don't have to have the SGS2 staring me in the face yelling "GET ME, GET ME" for more than a month. A month I can handle...three, I'm not so sure.

Guys when the Nexus Prime was said to be coming to Verizon, did you guys ever think they just meant it would be coming to Verizon AS WELL AS the other carriers Nexus has been on. Besides, even if Verizon sold it first, I'm POSITIVE Sprint, AT&T, and most likely T-Mobile since they've had all the Nexuses will release the Nexus Prime later on.

They are assuming a lot in that article...i dont doubt that LG may be working on the next nexus but the writer takes the leap from a quote that says LG is going to release it's next gen phone at WMC to it being the next nexus. I bet LG is going to be releasing some new Optimus phone but not the N4 successor. Even the writer states that the halt in production are just rumors. LG barely launched the nexus 4 as is, maybe they are working on a 5+ inch Nexus. Here's to hoping there's going to be a nexus 5, 6, 8, and 9 to complete the nexus line.
Well duh obviously LG is gonna show off some prototypes and tech at wmc. I'd be more worried if they didn't announce anything. Besides all the stuff from wmc well be lucky to see in stores by Q4.

BS, I don't work for LG and the only thing I can confirm to be true is that, I love my nexus 4 more than any of my previous android phones (Hero, Desire HD, Sensation, Evo 3D, One X)......
LG called me directly,saying that Nexus 4 production is stopped cause all the people working at Lg's production lines is currently at the Bahamas,on the beach...

Nexus 5 and 6 became available at t-mobile between Nov. 14-19. So I'm assuming 6p will become available in the next week or so.. Still not sure if I want this device or not considering new devices will be equipped with the new SD820 or exynos 8890..

It's been said before that they wouldn't be sold in stores, take that for what ever you think. However people are still waiting on their pre orders so I highly doubt it.

Did some more research and what you said is true. I just wish I can finance their phone without having to join project fi since I'm already with T-Mobile... And I know I can finance it through huawei but there's an interest, I might have to do more research.

I called T-Mobile and I was told that they are not carrying Nexus 6p or Nexus 5x anytime soon and I can purchase it from Google. I even left a comment on T-Mobile official YouTube and was told same story.
By the time 820 devices are out they'll be an 830 or 850 ..... You'll never have the newest

you could always get a Moto XPE. they have their own financing, or use a but it later account.
