Does flashing debloater zips causes wireless charging stop working? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S7 Questions & Answers

I recently rooted my galaxy S7 phone. And I flashed Debloater file. The wireless charging function was working well till the rooted period. Once I flashed the debloater (S7_or_S7Edge_Fixes_V15.zip) , wireless charging stopped responding. What could be the possible reason?

WiFi Bluetooth not working after Xposed Update

Hi guys,
I've been stuck with this problem for a month. PLEASE HELP otherwise I have to get rid of the phone...:crying:
I was on IMPERIUM 10 with XPOSED Framework active. One day it asked for an update of one of the standard module (I cant remember which one). After the process completed, I wasnt able anymore to use Wifi and BT. Even after reverting the module to the previous version or disabling XPOSED. Sometimes I could use WiFi and BT after a reset for a while, but again they turned off.
I've tried to reinstall IMPERIUM with full wipe, other SAMSUNG ROMs with XPOSED and CM11 (w/o XPOSED) but nothing. Besides, I've tried several modems (with ODIN) and NO SUCCESS as well.
Do you have any suggestion PLEASE?

[Q] Systemless Root causing boot loop - T-Mobile N900T

Hey everyone.
Like many Android users, I've been struggling to find a ROM and systemless root combo that passes SafetyNet (ever since Pokemon GO 0.37 update). I eventually found a ROM that can be unrooted cleanly (AryaMod S7 Edge port), and managed to get SafetyNet working via Phh's Superuser (first with Magisk + r251, now using hidesu version r266).
However, I soon ran into a problem: The systemless root appears to be causing my phone to bootloop. There seems to be a gradual degradation of the bootimage somehow caused by systemless roots; my phone would work fine for a while, then gradually apps would force close or the phone would freeze. If I try to reboot, the phone then gets stuck in a boot loop (which occurs before the ROM even starts loading). I am very sure this is caused by an error in the bootloader because this bootloop behavior persists through nandroid restore or clean ROM installations. The only way to fix it is to flash the stock bootloader via ODIN.
I noticed a few users in the dev threads of ROM's I've tried reporting the same issue, but in the dev thread for Phh's Superuser there seems to be a lack of mention of this issue (likely model-specific, as I am using Phh's Superuser on my wife's Note 4 and her phone isn't bootlooping). Just wondering if anyone has experienced the same problem and found a solution?

I also have an N900T, and magisk v7 + phh is working fine for me if I don't install any extra systemless modules. When I installed the better battery stats module, I started getting bootloops, so there are definitely some issues with it.
Magisk is still being worked on, so it's probably only at alpha or beta status right now. Hopefully it will get more stable in the future.
btw.. I'm running the latest stock Samsung 5.0 rom (N900TUVSFPH3), which has the latest bootloader, since it seems the most stable to me.

I Flashed Lineage 14.1 to my SM-N9002. OS works, but kernel refuses to work.

I either have to be really stupid or brave to flash a off-model ROM for my device. The ROM was Lineage 14.1 intended for Note 3 SM-N9005, but I tried it anyway. And it works. Everything works fine as well as flashed GApps for Nougat 7.1. But the only thing refuses to work is my USB port.
The phone was running so low on battery so I tried plugging in, but it did not trigger OS's charging status. Though it does charge, I found out later. I turned off my phone and let it sit there plugging into the wall and later on reboot to realize battery does go up. But charging is still not recognized. PC does not recognize the phone either ( and therefore adb doesnt work/recognize the device ).
Some research I had lead to the stock kernel its having. What should I do now? Flashing a new kernel? What should I flash? Is there even a custom kernel for this phone and supports Nougat 7.1? Because all i could find on the internet are kernels for Android lolipop and Kitkat.
See development thread for kernels .Read roms thread .

The custom ROM were Trader418's. Somehow if the kernel doesnt work at all, it would have got bootloop. But it works perfectly fine. Just exclude the derpy USB port that refuses to show its charging.
Synergy kernel problem
I installed resurrection remix nougat in note 3. It works fine but when I install synergy kernel I face bootloop problems. Kindly help me to fix

Quick Charge 3.0 suddenly stopped working on rooted H990DS

I have a rooted H990DS running the DOTS v1.3 kernel and the Quick Charge 3.0 suddenly stopped working. I tried rolling back kernels to even before DOTS came out when it worked, but to no avail. The phone seems to charge at a good speed, but there is no notification for fast charging and the battery icon shows the normal charging icon, not quick charge, even with the stock charger. I just noticed this when I flashed the Indian cust partition to try to get VoLTE working in the US (didn't work), but I have since gone back to the cust I was using before (AME). My firmware version is V10g-AME-XX. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Update: For anybody who runs into this, I fixed it by reflashing the firmware using Kdzwriter since I was rooted.

Quickcharge unreliable with custom ROM

So I wanted to try out Pie on my device and I already had TWRP installed. I went through the process of formatting to remove the encryption, then I flashed the ROM + Gapps I then booted in and it was working fine. I then flashed the standalone Nougat bootloader so that I could use the fingerprint. All was still working fine until I tried to charge it. It would say "Charging slowly" and it was charging very slowly, and even managed to drain faster than it could fill even when not using it. At some points I did manage to get charging rapidly but then without even moving the device it would go back to charging slowly. I have now changed to a different ROM which is Oreo and it definitely seems more consistent so far but I still do have trouble getting it to charge quickly. Before I flashed the new ROM yesterday I was not having any problems charging. Does anyone know what could be the cause of this issue and how I can resolve it?
