Note:
The file itself come with 10B denomination but in facts it is a 10C version just renamed differently according to your carrier model. Someone will see 10B and someone 10C according to what was there previously

Is it possible to flash on H815-L? with the LG tool 2014?

Wonder if I can flash this on my unlocked SEA H815 to "convert" it to an EU version. I'm new to the LG scene. Anyone know?

Nono, he is not. Extract the kdz, it contains 10c.dz. Extracting and merging system.img now before flashing.

Yes it is here is few steps if you have little web development knowledge you can do it "easy" :
Download and install LG suite and check if there's update for your phone (Don't update phone). If you still don't have update you must wait for one (probably not long).
If you have update you can exit LG suite and continue.
Download posted kdz file.
Enter this url in your browser: http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/auth_model_check2.jsp?esn=YOURS_IMEI_NUMBER
You should get some data and most important is sw_url which should look like http://csmgdl.lgmobile.com/dn/downloader.dev?fileKey=FW2C2IOOPPOAA0515EAOJ0/H815.kdz.
Hard part: you should block above url by adding this line to: /windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts file (edit as administrator):

127.0.0.1 csmgdl.lgmobile.com
Install some web server (WAMP fe.) and in its www dir create dn directory (look at url step 5 sw_url) and put in it downloaded kdz file from first step renamed to downloader.dev
Make sure that server runs properly and when you type rom's url it downloads eur rom instead of original (and very fast because of local server).
Now you can run again LG suite and check for updates and then click update.
After finishing you should get EURO version (It says global I don't know why) and you can delete line from hosts file (Important!).

Is it possible to flash this KDZ on mine H815-L ISR with lg flash tool?

I see new posts with "KDZ" but i dont now wath is it... Can anyone explain?

Is it possible to use this method to "replace" the carrier branded ROM with the EURO/Global version? I assume the model of phone should be H815, anything else to keep in mind?

Instruction
Download win32diskimager
Download debrick image
Unzip both items and run win32diskimager
Run win32diskimager
browse for your extracted debrick image
Select your microSD in the dropdown box
Click write
remove the microSD card from the reader
remove the battery, sim and external microSD card from your device
insert your debrick microSD into your phone
insert the battery and down your power button (at this point your phone might actually boot completely and you can recovery any software/data you want)****this part working or not i am not sure.****!
Try reboot into Download mode and flash kdz with lg up.
Try it and give your result.....

Currently my phone is alright. Also there is no mm tot file available for lg g3 d855. Also board diag method littlebit tough. So thats why i share this. On the s3 thread with debrick image they fix their phone when it gone into Qualcomm mode....so i just create dbrick image from my phone lg d855 and share it here because if it works for s3 hope it works for us. Both use Qualcomm chipset

Great Work done. Could you make a debrick image for D851 Kitkat V10c? If not, could you create a thread showing how to create the debrick image?
I have a D851 that is Hard Bricked and as you may have known, Board Diag doesnt work on the D851 variant.

Hello here is the file you needed but you need a working d851 with twrp. Flash the file in twrp will create a dbrick.img. if you will fix your phone by using the method showing in this thread Please report because still don't know it's useful or not.

I hope i can tag you in the Request thread i will be making.
For what its worth, my D851 would only show up as LGE Android Net without Download mode or recovery or boot. I had to short the pins for it to get into Qualcomm 9008. But after restoring the compressed backup i found on the site you attached, now it shows up as Qualcomm 9008. It no longer shows up as LGE ANdroid Net.
SO i am guessing with a debrick image from a D851, it will work.

i am not sure bro but for lg g3 cat6 it's work.... . lg g3 cat 6 have 805 and we have 801 chip set but bot are qualcomm. So theoretically is possible but how long no one try and give result. i cannot say anything. but best of luck. Also you can see in f460 debrick thread go to the second page some one explain the whole process . but remember use only d851 dbrick image.

For all people with Windows 10 an problems with drivers (device is detected by Windows but app is not connecting). Decompress de correct cab for your Windows version, and update the driver "Qualcomm HS-USB QDloader 9008" with the path you used to extract. Now this driver isn't advertising that isn't signed anymore, and all apps will connect with your LG G3

No need to unroot - flashing KDZs and TOTs restore your device to 100% stock unrooted.

There's a chance of a port to V500?

You can extract the .DLL from the KDZ with WindowsLGFirmwareExtract v1.2.7.0 you can find on XDA.

I assume I would just use ODIN for this?
Oh wait, this is for the 815, I have the 810.

Was anyone able to inject root on this?

can you grab 11A from LG website? I tried and failed (For VK815). My VK815 was rooted started acting up and I did factory reset. Now i cant get past startup screen since setup.exe crashes. I tried downloading your KDZ and flashing but it wouldnt flash ( I am afraid since I was on 11A) if you dont mind can you see if you can download older kdz?

nevermind, i was able to flash this kdz with someones LG g2 back to stock guide perfectly fine, its on marshmallow now. Thank you so much

I'm just being offered 10l on my EU 850 device from LG Bridge. Are you sure this isn't what you're referring to?
EDIT Apologies, it is 10i. It looked like 10l and I can't download it properly on LG Bridge like everybody else. LG Bridge is trying to download an 885mb file which is far to small for a kdz.

My problem is that it fails to unpack the KDZ (got the info from the logs -> wrong checksum) I tried downloading thru LG Bridge and AlexandersKgr methode many times without gettin it to update. Any Ideas? tried also The LG Tool and LGUP variant but these dont recognize my device....

Here is the fix of our problem.
Just rename and change LGUP_H850.dll in C:\Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\LGUP\model\H850\ folder.
After that I have no error and I update to V10i.

It worked thanks. I flashed EU rom over Tr rom. Hope ı could have root too. Just for to use audio enchancment mods.

Yup ! I installed v10i version with LGUP (only updated) and then I rooted with the usual procedure.

To be sure, I reinstalled TWRP (flash recovery image in bootloader mode) then boot into recovery mode to flash supersu zip and exposed framework zip and it worked like a charm :good:

OTA isn't quite working for me, after downloading and trying to install, reboot to TWRP and nothing happens, lol

My LG G3 D855 is not entering into download mode. I also tried to boot into recovery, but fastboot mode starts. The phone is working just fine, but the problem is that it drops signals frequently and 3G/4G is not working as well. Don't know what's the problem. I have tried flashing laf.img, used LG PC Suit to update, but nothing is working. I need some help on that.

Use LG flash tool 2014, the happen to me after I used multirom and I had to repartition evrything.

I used D85530e_00_0927.kdz as my phone details are Model: LGD855 - 6CC/ASBT_3PIN(UNITED ARAB EMIRATES)

Made some progress. The flash tool is recognising the phone with another DLL file. However, now it's giving cust-partition error. Now, what's that?

Can't go into recovery mode - only factory firmware update mode is working. I think flashing cust.img would solve the problem but I don't know how to that since its booting into recovery and fastboot mode.

Did you try to install the v30b eur xxx....??
Maybe there you can pass the cust partition....

Yes, I did. But nothing useful. Same cust partition error.
