As you all know after updating your device stock browser is replaced with chrome. I want my stock browser back cause it's kinda simple and I like it. Is there any way to install the app back somehow. I tried to download app from one page but it seems that it is for the P8 version only cause it crashes like crazy. Any info guys? Thanks in advance!

Has anyone else found the messaging app to be extremly buggy? I have the stock ATT rom and haven't made any major mods to it. It's constantly freezing, the text input field is always hidden, etc. Is there a fix somewhere? At this point I'm even willing to pay for an app, but I can't find any. SMS chat doesnt work with 6.5.

I'm inexperienced with custom ROMs, but I think its a 50/50 chance. Give it a shot and if it doesn't work you can simply unistall it. Everything will be like before. That's the beauty of CABs.

did you get the error before installation? if so, my guess is htc put in a check to see what rom ur running so the fix cant install on another device. maybe a good dev here can decompile the cab and remove the check/block.
cannot d/l from htc site....
Just got around to installing this. My messaging app wasn't giving me much trouble prior to now, so i just installed it. It froze right when I opened the first message and backed out. Just tried again and it froze again. Way to go HTC.

Hey guys I just updated my Galaxy S to Froyo and did the factory reset to have a clean version. I'm reinstalling all my apps but noticed that "Adfree" is now missing from the market.
I've googled this and struck out.
Where can I download this or could someone PM this to me please? Thanks!

It may not be the most current version but it works and I need this to survive my morning commute. (believe me I was in a little bit of a rage when I did a fresh reinstall just to find my all-time favorite app missing now life is good)

Try "AdFree Android" exactly as i wrote it...i see it in market...
Add Free i have just downloaded and installed from the market via AppBrain .

I just got it installed by using an old version and then let atrackdog hunt for it, but at least it's good to know that it's still in the market.

i am stuck at downloading status in google play, cant download anything else. just fresh installed a rom and that seems the only problem i encountered. ive read the rom thread that i flashed and their google play is working just fine.

yesterday I flashed the BoBCaTROM on my Galaxy Note 3. Now the google search in the standard Internet Browser doesn't work anymore. When I type a word in the URL textfield it just loads google.com instead of googling the word. This is very annoying.
Is there a way to change this or do I have to install another Browser?

i think some roms have a problem with stock Browser use chrome that will be fine
or ask on BoBCaTROM thread someone might have a fix

Great idea, so here is another Problem i have with my new Rom:

Now the design is a little different but it works

Think this is my first post on XDA ever.
I have a problem. My wife has a P8 lite ALE-L02. Stock standard ROM and software. Everything has always been 100% fine.
But after I upgrade her phone to 6.0, the in-call volume is extremely soft. Even set at max volume during the call, it's very hard to hear he person on the other side. I've tried looking on the internet, but can't find anyone else complaining about exactly the same.
The P8 Lite doesn't list on Huawei website any more by the looks of it.
What are my options? Can I roll back somehow?

In dialer settings there should be an option to turn on hd calling. If it's on try turning it off or vise versa.

I did try that. It made no difference either way around
I've tried factory resetting. Tried booting to the bootloader, clearing cache. Factory resetting again. Even different SIMs (Not that I expected that to make any difference)
Nothing helps . . .

It's not a bug. It's probably a emui feature. Try downgrading if it bothers you a lot.

Search for downgrade package for you device. All the instructions will be in the package in the form of pdf. If you can't find it I might send you a link.
