Hide Mobile Company Name (SPAIN)

Hi everybody.
From HTCMANIA (Spanish Forum), we want to hide the mobile company with a OFFICIAL SOLUTION, no to open bootloader, root, etc. It occurs in Spain, no in EEUU, GB...

Dear Sirs Motorola
The option to hide the name of the mobile company, at the top left of the status bar , is something that most users do not like , since it takes up space to the other notifications . It occurs en Spain.
We created this petition to bring forth us an official solution . Would be a minor update (or any official application from Motorola) that should have any option in this style: " show name mobile company YES - NO" or another option that you see it.
You can hide , but not officially , and would need to unlock the bootloader and root the terminal , leading to the cancellation of the warranty. So , we ask again that pudieseis solve this request officially without having to give up the collateral or terminal brickeo possible to do this process .

Estimados señores de Motorola,
La opción de poder ocultar la etiqueta de la operadora, situada en la parte superior izquierda de la barra de notificaciones, es algo que a la mayoría de usuarios les molesta, puesto que roba espacio a las demás notificaciones.
Creamos esta petición para que nos dieseis una solución oficial. Trataría de una actualización menor (o alguna aplicación oficial de Motorola) que tuviese alguna opción de este estilo: "mostrar etiqueta del operador SI - NO" u otra opción que ustedes veáis.
Se puede ocultar, pero no oficialmente y haría falta desbloquear el bootloader y rootear el terminal, lo que lleva a la anulación de la garantía. Por eso, os rogamos, de nuevo, que pudieseis solucionar esta petición de forma oficial y sin tener que renunciar a la garantía o del posible brickeo del terminal al hacer este proceso.

For branding. It is well known the mobile companies are the ones making the phone manufacturer include the branding. That is why you don't see it on the pure unlocked versions.

Indeed, I also bought retail without contract and I also have the carrier label. Disabled it with Motoguide xposed module though because it annoyed me to no end.

No offense, but you're just wasting your time. Some already tried to achieve such a thing with no result at all.
Just jump the wagon, unlock your bootloader, root, install xposed and my app, it's worth it.

What am I just seeing? People trying to hide the carrier name on the top left corner AND THEY DO A PETITION TO MAKE MOTOROLA HIDE IT. Meaningless and stupid. Stop whining about little thing which are not big deal. And keep in mind that Moto G is a budget phone, with that price, you should not whine that much. Unless you bought an iPhone 5s 64gb gold, then you can whine.

Seems like LG released new version in Argentina: V20a.
You can flash it on any H815* model (which means H815 / L / P / TR / AR / etc..)
Security patch is for 2016-05-01
No VoLTE support
No bloatware
No custom boot animation

No overheating issues. Battery lasts around 3hours screen on time per day for me.

I have a H815AR SN:508 from Movistar Argentina with Android "H815AR20a_00_0504" firmware, no root and no open bootloader.
Today, out of nowhere it started to bootloop and I tested everything and it seems it's not going to survive, so tomorrow I'm sending it to claim warranty. this is no news as it seems a know problem and there's nothing I can do.
The actual news is that, while trying to recover the phone, I tried with LG Bridge and the "update error recovery" (while booting in download mode) and it download "H815AR20a_00_0511" firmware. Sadly I can't say anything about this firmware as my phone doesn't boot, but if someone wants to give it a try, I can upload the file to the web. Let me know.
UPDATE: after having a replace, I updated the new unit with the 511 fw. Here my comments:
- The boot animation is Movistar branded (not the typical LG animation)
- Android 6.0
- Android security 2016-05-01
- SW ver V20a-SSV-TLF
and no bloatware.

Estoy en la misma situación con mi LG G4 h815ar muerto. Queda trabado en el boot.
Pude en algunas oportunidades lograr que inicie y a los pocos minutos volvía a morir.
Ahora estoy tratando de encontrar el .tot correcto para subirle otra version de kdz
Muy novato lo mio pero creo que si no es un problema de hardware aun puede revivir.

A friend of mine has a 815ar with personal. Is it posible to flash 815ar free room and/or flash the new nougat version form european room. Is necesary to unlock bootloader? I am almost sure that nougat will not arrive to this carrier locked device. Marshmallow arrived 1 year and half later.

X dedgracia creo q estas jodido... No es un tema de software es q se desuelda el soc... Hay muchas soluciones caseras tempprales para levantarlo como correrlo en 1 solo core (lo cual va a funcionar lento) y hacerle un reflow.. Si tenes garantia ni la dudes y anda a reclamar... El g4 vino con problemas de diseño

this also occurs on my g4 play. I don't know if it is a hardware problem or not. Since I bought on september it does the little flash of the screen (the screen turns off and on very quickly) like once or twice a day.

Please, don't forget that you are on an forum where the main language is English. You can write in Spanish, but you have to write the same thing in English at first.
For the problem with your Moto, try a factory reset. If that don't fix your problem, claim your warranty.

Has no one tried downgrading? I'll try now.

Downgrading worked with locked BL. Just let the bootloader flashing fail and the next /system flashing will succeed.

MMmm is really hard fund other room whit out telcel logo , i search in chinese and other and don't have luck

If you want to convert your phone model to an European one aware that you risk an hard brick. However if you want to install a custom ROM you can try to flash it, in the worst case your SIM card won't be detected or the signal may be very bad. Just remember to make a backup before flashing any ROM.

Hi guys I have a question. I'm pretty excited because I unlocked de bootloader of my amazon prime Moto G4 in the regular way
Got the code from Motorola just like any other non prime phone.
The question is, can I root/recovery/custom rom my phone with the guides and tools shown in this forum?
Pd: tried on 2 phones but only one could be unlocked.

PAna, como hiciste, tengo mas de un mes con el cel danado y debo hacerle un downgrade y no puedo porque lo tengo el bootloader bloqueado.
