I don't have an option in the Google app to turn on OK Google on all screens. I feel like I did at one point but I can't be certain because I've only had the phone for three days. Is anyone else missing the option?
I have it. B27 A2017U

What version of the app do you have? Any mods or system changes? I'm rooted with Xposed installed. Also B27 A2017U.
Completely stock

In case anyone else has this issue I solved it by installing OK Google Hotword Enrollment using Aroma OpenGapps.

Whenever I have the "From any screen" option turned on, I have issues with my microphone not working during phone calls. I read somewhere else here on XDA that disabling the option would solve the problem. It did. Just an FYI if you have microphone issues.
I had the same issues. disabling the option helped to solve this

So I have issues with getting the accessibility options to be selectable. Additionally, I can't install the search for t-torrent. It won't allow me to click install. Yes I have unknown sources checked. Any other options I might be missing?

This is what I am referring to. I can't select ok. Just cancel. I am just curious if I am the only one with this issue. I have it on both my Z ultra and mxpe.

Are you using any kind of screen filter app (e.g. twilight)?
Since it's happening on both your phones, I can tell you its some app you have installed.
Android won't let you enable accessibility or install unknown apps with a filter installed.
^Exactly. Like if you have lux installed for example.
I actually do have lux installed. I'll try and install and see if that fixes it. Thanks both of you.

You need to disable lux and change the accessibility settings and then restart lux.

Any suggestions to force the update? Tried moving the date ahead but that isn't working.

It seems that I'm left out of the update too.. Still can't get it to download (and I do have the AT&T sim card installed).
if my s7 edge is rooted, will the update mess up my phone?
If you are rooted you won't be able to update so it won't mess with your phone. You have to flash back to stock in order to update

Sup XDA!
So I've been searching everywhere and can't seem to find a solution. I'm on the latest update of Google, and when I do a search, the text comes through white on a white background.
I've tried uninstalling all updates, wiping cache, also looking into rooting capabilities to just change my system text color. Ran into a bit of a dead in.
Anyone else having this same problem or know of a solution?

Are you using a custom theme of any kind?
I was at one point, but it randomly started on stock Verizon S7e with no customization.
I still can't explain it.

Can you screenshot it by chance? Is that the only app that does it?

Yeah, it's only in the Google app. All other Google/Stock/Play store apps are totally ok.

I'm having the same problem after a recent google app update.. One plus one on android 6.0.1.. Super annoying
Can someone help me with this issue. When I first got my phone I was getting audible notifications while on a call, but then recently my phone started to slow down/lag, so I booted into recovery and cleared cache. Now, ever since then, I have not been able to receive any audible notifications while on a call. I ensured that notify during calls is turned on and even toggled it on/off with no success. Any help would be appreciated.
have tried the 'call waiting' option under 'supplementary services' as well?

I thought that the new update received would fix it, but it didn't. I also noticed, that it works with whatsapp calling, but not with Samsung dialer. Any suggestions?
