Why double tap or any number of taps??
If you tap on your screens, you may have a chance of mistakenly opening an app!
This following solution is more practical:
"Swipe home button" in Play store. An easy and practical way to get to home screen, works well.

How's battery usage? Is it significant?
Also, I'm using the version you posted but it's not working when the screen is off. I'm sure I deactivated all app-killing process. I don't think it's this.

There are about 7 programmed gestures which are fully customizable.
Excellent.
I've done the following:
(Short) swipe up: recent apps
(Long) swipe up: Google search
Swipe up then down: retract notification menu
Swipe up then right: shortcut to contact
Swipe up then left: opens rss reader

Mine stopped working and I got it working again by turning the onscreen buttons on and off, as well as the double tap to wake, both in settings....then restarted.
A bit unscientific but did the job.
Have a look at the other post, there is a good alternative camera app to download from xda.

Double tap to wake is a great battery drain. It keeps the screen powered up all the time. Is it that hard to stick a finger on a sensor. If you can't make it work and want it there are tap to wake apps
---------- Post added at 12:13 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:12 AM ----------
Open Camera is far better than the stock one. The first thing I did was swap.

Dttw does keep the screen on! Do you see the back light? It is just a part of the touch layer managed by the kernel. It should have a minimal impact on battery life and does not prevent deep sleep.

I guess is a mith.. i have DTTW enabled and livedisplay enabled too and no have problems at all. 2 Sims, 5 mail accounts, DISA and Whatsapp working and i have more than a full day (if i downlevel my activities battery last almost 2 full days).
Not required double tap on MM ZUI
Double tap features is not required anymore for me, because the newer ZUI marshmallow version they have fixed the problem with direct unlock from the home key without pressing.
I mean same like Nexus devices.

Nope, as far as I know, zuk use the same layout that opo uses, one cable for screen and another for touch. After that it's handled by kernel and don't have almost any impact in battery life

dubble click notification to wake screen on in nouget

hallo,is there a way to alert appears regularly on the lock screen, we can click and get to the home screen? I saw this APK file but forgot where?
This seems to be on stock Nougat firmware. I can double tap the notification area of Always On screen to wake the phone
Yes I know, but there is APK file All he does is send "notification" as soon as you tap it opens the Home screen. Quite simply, just that I do not remember who brought it here somewhere.
I had a tasker profile running to show empty notify icon through alert setting. So that I can double click the icon to wake pattern lock screen and then fingerprint to unlock works.

Try this...without pressing any button (for Edge users) .... just swiping edge screen (it should be activated) and then lightly touch the Home button to recognize fingerprints... [emoji6]

I suppose everyone has their own preference as I find it simpler to just press the home button. Wakes up screen and unlocks at the same time. Faster and easier for me.

You need Magisk installed, then you can install the module.

What is this screen that keeps appearing and how do I disable it?

I see it sometimes when I pull my phone out of my pocket. I have no idea which combination of buttons/screen taps/ or whatever I'm doing to make it appear.
It's an LG memo app that came with the phone. If you double tap volume-up, it starts, bypassing the lock screen. I'm pretty sure you can change this in settings.
BTW, if you double tap volume-down, the camera app starts, bypassing the lock screen. THIS is very useful!
Sent from my BTV-W09 using Tapatalk
Thanks!
You can disable the memo app if it bothers you or you have no need for it.

That is the built-in screen capture. You may have been accidentally pressing the screen capture key. I can't remember anymore which one is the default, because I have re-assigned it somewhere else. You have the option to save it as image in Gallery app or the Quick Memo app.
