LG 'fixed' it... - LG G5 Guides, News, & Discussion

I have to say this first. Ignore cosmetic damage that's all me. I enjoy phones as they were intended with no case.
Within seconds of opening the returned phone from LG I noticed a few things...
Dust & Rubbish in the camera!

Yes, I'm polish but I live in England so it's been repaired locally.

Just spray air into the phone to get rid of the dust.

Some people had it fixed under warrenty, others couldn't because it didn't fell under the HTC warrenty. Very strange indeed.
It is a common problem that appears if you carry your phone alot in your pockets.
Have no clue what to do about it. You should try the local HTC sellingpoint or the shop where you bought it.
You're screen is out, i had the same problem, i did must to change the screen.

A chat with Sony

Hello everybody, I have talked to Sony about our X8, I know its kinda old things but I think all Synaptic users with the problem on the corners could get their phone repaired.
They were a little bit positive by rooting this time, but they will not recommend it to other users.

Where are the VOID stickers on the Desire Z?

I was having problems with my Desire Z's screen and I decided to open it to see if a cable was loose or something. I opened it (destroying the VOID stickers) and tried to see if I could fix it. It couldnt be fixed and I contacted HTC and they said its in warranty but Ive opend the phone.
I ordered some stickers off and I plan to put them on the there. If it works, it works
The only problem is, where do they go? I see a bunch of screw spots but Im not going to go sticker crazy either. I BELIEVE it was only one spot but I cant 100 confirm that so I need XDA to.
Thanks

well try to make a copy of it in MS word or something, add some glue, and there is your VOID sticker

I ordered some off eBay.
Course I doubt it's the only void indicator, probably more or less the 'external' check for retailers to look at before accepting a return.

Thanks for the share! :good:
It's AWESOME details to see what's inside the Z2.. Awaiting for the video release!
Question, which one is the SoC ? I assume thats the BIG die with the Samsung RAM stacked on it ?
It looks like bezel is plastic. Not aluminium as was advertised.
Label says "Prototype build", so it could be a pre-production unit.

[Q] Dust under the camera lens?

Hi! I bought G2 just a week ago and I just need to confirm if this issue exists for others as well. Not to mention that I've used my phone extremely clearly and kept it out of dusty areas. The dust is under the lens, not above.
In any case, could someone suggest me what I can do to remove it or prevent further scratches?

I'm worried if my phone has weak sealings cause my old Xperia arc had dust appear under its lens only after a year or 2 of use. :/
