Hello guys, i have a problem with my mhl hdmi cable.. can't get it to work anymore..
at the start it works fine, no problems at all.. what could the problem be???

1. You are on an aosp rom. I don't think it will work there.

Yes i'm on a aosp rom, but jamal2367 said in his thread that TV-OUT (MHL) is working.. how is this possible?
EDIT: I have a unlocked bootloader it's no neccesary for update only for install recovery

I, in this case rename as update.zip (to shorten the name), i placed in the External SD
3 .- Access recovery (and which will be of stock) update from External SD and search the file have rename update.zip, but will start flashing because there will be a reboot that first update the recovery (relaxed, nothing happens), back to the point of android tummy with up and again have to access the recovery by pressing the button repeatedly volume up and down at the same time, search again update via the sd external and get back to flash the same update.zip, but in this case, not stop until end (takes a little patience).
4 .- Restart your phone and ready
OPTIONAL FOR ROOT (UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER IS NECCESARY)

7 .- Reboot in ART (I imagine if you could tell DALVIK performance, in ART should be much more obvious and of a soft way more) no ... DALVIK is better in this case

Unlock Bootloader is required for this case if the firmware is not your region to avoid problems or bricks

think he means he tested ART but found Dalvik was better. Not a step you have to perform unless you want to see for yourself.

Yes flash with RSD lite is necessary due to the OTA file that I shared, check your firmware and if modified (eg ROOT) will not install

It is significantly smoother, not faster, because heavy tasks still overdo the cpu but way smoother indeed...
EDIT: to be more specific, Geekbench now reports an average of 510 single core and 695 multicore (multi thread in our case, we do not have two cores). That gives us a performance of 695 points per 2.0Ghz core and it is about 5% faster than a single core of a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro @ 1.7Ghz (Moto X 2013).
Who was able to get Xposed working well without crashes?
For me xposed is working without crashes on kitkat atm.
The only module that die produced suden reboots was greenify.
Don't know why but disabling nearly all the xposed features in greenify
fixed it, didn't had to disable the module.
The only feature i'm using is the common sync timer for all apps.

Hello octopus. . . . Update "the razr hd" a friend to kitkat, after viewing your message and was made direct OTA, downgrade JB 4.1.2 German (had more current Telcel MEXICO) and asked to update the system, and release the update on saturday

I install Xposed without any problems and I did taking Art (I forgot that I had it in ART) and automatically restart when installing Xposed, but in Dalvik

A suggestion from me: Dont forget to take backup for your stock rom and omnirom seperatly. with this you can easily back to your stock rom and back again to omni.

I would like to ask you that whether uve seen the kernel source or not...its not complete. ravikiran was trying to get the kernel working and got few success on booting it. So i think first of all we should try getting the kernel source working.

about this subject. we will work with Ravikirancg about this. now i'm comparing elite and e7 kernels. so we can start test it. and of course we will release a test version.
I'm interested in helping in this project, the thing is that I do not have any previous experience in CM porting or android kernel building.
Do you have any links/documentation for how to do that? what will be of a great help if there is some high level overview of the activities, something like a road map, for example, we need to have the kernel sources, then we need to compile it, then what? I mean, something to lay out the milestones so we can seek for closure.
I've noticed that Sony Xperia Z2 (CM code name Sirius) is very close in terms of HW specs to E7, can that be leveraged for the sake of this effort?
Please let me know how I can help as I have he interest and time.

About building kernel i wanna point out tha kernel does seem to work just that it doesn't have display drivers I tried xperia z1 KitKat and that shows sign of booting but no display
Our best shot is with one plus one i guess. anyway i will be back trying again after 8th to get some kernel working. As it seems ravikiran and GTAraja is back too. Maybe we can finally get some Cyanogenmod goodness

one plus one kernel working
guys i have a good news probably I flashed a kernel made for one plus one the phone boots and goes into recovery. i cant get cm working due to system partition of stock rom being different. can anybody help ?

in this situation you must send us a log so we can look at it and say whats wrong. about messages in turkish. a friend sai to me: we are waiting for kitkat update and then they will update the kernel. so you can get this kernel and work on it.

hi sorry for not posting logs actually twrp is not letting me copy logs every time i copy logs to sd-card the file is empty. Anyway there are only two errors
1. unable to execute update binary
2. unable to mount system
i think we need to build cm12 from one plus one source hoping that stock cm12/11 of one plus one would work directly was too much i guess. but kernel boots and display works means we can use one plus sources right?

its hard to say. it can be a yes or no. display problem is oone of our our problems. its workiing ok. but. opo uses snapdragon 801 and we use 800. opo have 16/64 gb and we have 16/32. so hoping to directly work is so far from us. but of course we can use some fatures from opo.

Just for understanding: why is sim and exfat broken? Couldnt we use the s4 source-tree as the hardware is identical in most parts? Or is it broken, too? Sorry, maybe a am thinking too simple as a am no developer

Source tree and vendor props are same as in regular S4, which makes me think that maybe jactive's bootloader or modem is somehow different... i'm flashing newest Samsung rom to see if updating modems and whatever else helps with that. If not, then use ril stuff from CM12.1.
As for exfat, maybe it's not implemented yet? I think this was the case with CM12 also, exfat took some time to get implemented as it needs extra libs and packages.
Did someone already tried to flash a modem for s4? How high are the chances, that it will brick a s4 active? Maybe that is the key to a working sim?

I tried flashing S4 modems at some point, like a year ago and as i recall, it's not even possible to flash them. Some kind of checksum fails and flashing fails before actually flashing the file. This was with Heimdall so i don't know what Odin does. If the checksum check is done on receiving end, then it doesn't matter what flasher is used.
Edit: oh and i flashed latest available Samsung rom, I9295XXUDOI5_I9295TIMDOI1_TIM.zip. No change with CM13 RIL, no SIM detected. But ran into problems with TWRP, it started failing due to selinux declining recovery access to lots of things, had to compile new TWRP with selinux in permissive mode...
I also reverted some vendor blobs to CM12.1 state, but no help. I took a logcat and noticed that selinux was denying access to binaries related to RIL... needs more investigation.
Well it seems flashing OI5 was a mistake, since now CM13 won't boot without using adb shell to set selinux to permissive mode... i'll need to see if i can downgrade somehow.
Downgraded to OB4, at least i think i did. I flashed aboot.mbn, modem.bin, NON-HLOS.bin, rpm.mbn, sbl1.mbn, sbl2.mbn, sbl3.mbn and tz.mbn (sbl1.mbn is from NK4 rom as OB4 doesn't have that file). No change, my phone simply refuses to boot all of the CM13 builds because selinux denies stuff. On the other hand, CM12.1 and SlimLP beta 10 work fine, so something weird is going on with CM13...
I did manage to hack round it by adding more options for installd to sepolicy, but i feel that this is something shouldn't need to do. I'm going to revert /data back to ext4, hopefully it's just unfinished support for f2fs in CM13. If so, i'll stick with ext4, f2fs has brought only more trouble so far than any improvements.
I also managed to debug RIL problem, first it was missing vendor props and after that some permission problem, might be related to above problem with my phone...

the major issue is no sim detected of course thats a big deal for everyone. wifi works fine browsing youtube ok. NFC never used in my s4 active so dont know. if sim card detected i will definetly used as my daily driver battery life seems good when compare with the cm12.1 officials. BIG THANKS TO THE spegelius still looking for the s4 active. thanksssssssss
My external sd it's not detected, or better, cannot mount.
I think that this cause some problem whit apps like music or file manager that are stucked and don't run. Others app work fine.

Alright, ril problem figured out: selinux denies access to qmux radio socket. Fixed it by setting selinux to permissive on boot for now (same as S4 CM13 i think), so take this into consideration, bad apps can do bad things possibly.

Exfat still doesn't work, reason is that vold doesn't support exfat yet; but as CM development goes, features come at some point.
Wow latest buid looks to me OK LTE, cellular calls even my SD card detects. camera works flawless Setting menu crashed 1 time other than anything bugs didn't noticed so far in 3 hours. Thanks for great job spegelius

Same thing happens to me too on the latest version of MAD OS. I have Jiayu S3 16gb version. I'm using LineageOS until a new version will be released for MAD OS. Couldn't find a resolution.
