XOS is a new generation cutting-edge OS for Android based on Code Aurora Forum releases.
What is XOS?
halogenOS, also known as XOS is a new Android ROM which ships with the global aim to
become a modular ROM which keeps as high as potentially possible operating
performance on your mobile device while still maintaining a sufficient feature
base of nice, small and minimal features that would not be available via any
external feature base, extension, mod or plugin.
We hope you have a truly halogenified experience!
Internals of XOS
At core, the ROM is composed mainly of components from CodeAuroraForums (CAF),
minor components of AOSP-CAF, featuring only extremely minor set of components
from CyanogenMod (CM) which have been added to source in order to allow for
better cross-device compatibility.

A huge thanks goes to those behind the CodeAuroraForums (CAF), the developers
behind the AOSP-CAF project and the CyanogenMod organisation and all of its
contributors for the sources used in the development of the base ROM which we
started with inclusive of all the work and dedication their team puts in order to
keep us updated on the awesome contributions that they make.
We will be keen on ensuring that we be up to date with the code from our base sources,
with regular ROM updates hopefully coming from time to time.
Please do not ask for ETA's (else you shall be spooked by Mr Skeltal). Almost all of us are
students, and with the current lifestyles and routines we have, it is not that easy to acquire

How to install PHILS/Recommended Recovery & You must be WIKO RAINBOW V13 !
Make sure you have a custom recovery installed. (PHILS is the preferred recovery)

ROM is smoother than butter. , Battery backup is also good. @kenzukie, bro how do I get that homescreen? I didn't find any theme engine. Awesome ROM, but can't open the terminal app after enabling from developer options, crashes every time.

Chances are you have lost your IMEI. Dial *#06# and if it shows invalid/unknown IMEI, go to @smokerman's BLOG and follow the instructions.

Do not use other fix like camera fix, it is miui 7.2 stable , flashing other fixes like (bootimg) part will cause some bugs .

The screenshots seem to say that it does work @Dharma Samsthapana, good job! This just further motivates me to get the CM device tree better. This time I'll take a sprout8 though. I will test it later though, got too much data on my phone.

I'm using both my sims ,you can see that in the screen shot , try flashing it again since sometimes setup wizard gets jammed due to gapps package

But if I flash GApps after first boot then it won't boot due to not getting runtime permissions.

i meant to say do a fresh flash of rom+gapps again and at the setup wizard wait till your sim,network gets detected then proceed to the further instructions

Everyone is going with OMS coz of a reason.
@Rajeev and if BJRR is going to go with OMS then I guess I'll have to drop the idea since I don't want to clutter the oneplus3 forum with redundant threads all containing the same features.

Oneplus 3 forums on op forums has a rr build with OMS.. Build with linaro I guess.. M. Running it.. Its a beast rom

My steps for who failed at installing
1) Flash rom, you will got error at here
2) At twrp, go to mount section unmount and mount again "system"
3) Go Advanced / File Manager, go to system/bin/devicecheck.sh and click to chmod
4) Install rom again without wiping anything
At gapps, twrp will be frozen, wait like 10 mins, twrp will reboot

Google says that they optimized the Oreo and on Pixel it is twice as fast comparing to Nougat in some cases, so I think it shouldn't be slower.
Can give an accurate time? My cell phone has been waiting.
