Anyone flashed this? For some reason the Google dialer keeps force closing anyone else have this issue?
Set it as default dialer app
OK how do I do that
I tried to set the dialer as default and it opens then immediately closes. Doesn't even say it crashed it just closes.
Its glitchy on my phone too. I deleted the other dialer, then installed pixel one. Now when people call, the swipe to answer is all distorted and jumping around. Still works though.
Mine is working as intended what ROM are you using?I'm on Pure Nexus latest release.
I should note I'm using the 5.1.13122 apk, not the zip, I can't remember from which thread it is but here is the apk link:

I will just wait. At this point this whole thing seems too buggy

CM 6.0.0 DS's camera keeps crashing and reboot the phone, anyone got this problem?
Basically if something involved the camera, such as using qik, and the AWlauncher to lauch camera, after it is opend or closed, the phone rebooted.
If i open camera via normal app button, and close it, everything is normal.
try to update adw launcher or do a reflash
isnt the adw launcher with CM the most up to date?
and where do i get the new adw launcher?
I also saw there is issue with the camera apk, and google isnt releasing it out to find out the issue within the software.
if u cant find a dump of an older camera apk try a newer one like from gingerbread or upgrade to cm6.1
In the past week or so i constantly get the message on my phone saying wallpaper updated. I thought it was caused by the wallpaper i had on it so i switched to another, fixed it for maybe 5 min then the message was back again. The message appears whenever i open or close an app, open or close the keyboard, switch the screen orientation, etc. It basically does it no matter what i do.
Anyone else having this problem or have a possible solution?
Droid2 running leaked Gingerbread build
I know this is a older thread but i figured i would let you know.
I had the same issue. It was caused by the MySpace app. I uninstalled it and stopped getting that message. May not be the same for you but there you go.
Hi,
I have recently installed Kybui Rom running 5.1.1 lollipop on my note 4 N10F variant. Everything works great except google now. There isn't any options for ok google anywhere only ok google in app. Its not like they're greyed out either they're completely missing from the app completely. I've tried disabling S-voice, downgrading the google app but nothing gets it working at all.
I seem to be the only person having this issue which is even more frustrating though have read about it happening on S6 devices but can't seem to find a solution. Does anyone know how I can get this back? I know I can use nova launcher and there's open mic+ to do it but nova only works on homescreen and open mic is dodgy when veiwing videos last time I used that app so just want it working natively again.
I'm using the NotSoStock ROM for the T-Mobile V20 version 6.5. I haven't had any issues this entire time but of recent randomly my Google app won't work. When I open it the wheel just spins with no message or indication of connecting to Google. Google Assistant will not respond to OK Google. Voice to text won't work on GBoard. The Google search bar won't work. My play store is fine Gmail is fine just seems to be everything related to the new installment of Google Assistant stops working. I'm not using greenify. I haven't installed anything different since getting this ROM running. It hasn't been updated since I've rooted. Only thing I've downloaded was a theme from the playstore. I thought maybe that was it so I removed it and went back to stock but it did it again later on in the evening after being perfect all day. Sometimes if I close all apps it will connect when reopening. But other times I have to reboot the phone. I've wiped cache and dalvik cache. Wiped app data and cache. I've tried changing the ignore status of Google services framework so it's never put to deep sleep in the settings baked into stock LG UI. I can't figure this out and it's frustrating. Can anyone help or at least let me know I'm not alone and maybe this is a Google server issue.
I have had similar behavior with Google assistant acting up, again just very recently and it used to be flawless. Must be Google update version issue. Maybe we can roll back to previous version?
I'm having the issue with the missing voice to text on Gboard. It's also missing from lgboard and I'm not able to add it to the board under settings because the mic icon doesn't exist. I know gapps is the issue, but I have no idea why. Looking for a solution.
What solved it for me was signing up for Google play services beta and the Google app beta. Been flawless since.
I'm on a stock Verizon Google pixel. W/ unlocked bootloader. I started having this issue as well. Will try to see about the beta thing you mentioned.
The only short term solution I've found is restarting my phone. But otherwise it's really inconvenient.
Hasn't seemed I've been happening as much. But my Google assistant and or Google Voice search would freeze I would have to reboot the phone to get it to work again. I'm stock Verizon v20
Gotta be an issue on Google end. Hopefully they fix it soon
I'm still on Miui 10.3.11, no root, does this happened to any of you? it definitely happened twice today, once it opened the default browser (Never used it, is on a random folder out of reach) and the other it opened Spotify and I definitely didn't use that app today. It looks as if I had any of those apps opened when I lock the screen, any ideas what could that be?

Hi,
i'm facing this problem too, on MIUI Global 10.3.11 with Nova Launcher Pro fwiw.
Mostly, the randomly launched apps are ones for which I have a shortcut on desktop screens or inside a folder.
At first I thought I was mad, thx for your post
Maybe its from fingerprint shortcut try to disable it from settings
