Symbols on keyboard - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

Hi guys. I am trying for couple days now to unlock the csc feature in order to show the symbols together with the letters on the samsung keyboard.
I have read numerous threads and all suggest same code, which worked for my samsung tablet but doesn't work on s7 edge.
I added the following to the others.xml (tried same in feature.xml)
<CscFeature_Sip_UseSymbolInCMKey>true</CscFeature_Sip_UseSymbolInCMKey>
<CscFeature_Sip_EnableSymbolInSecondary>de;en_US;en_GB</CscFeature_Sip_EnableSymbolInSecondary>
Any suggestions how to fix that?

[Q] Note 3 handwriting settings

Hi Everyone,
Just got my Note 3 yesterday and it's been great. However I noticed that using handwriting on the Note 3 seems to have changed from the Note 2. On the Note 2, I was able to write at least 2 lines on the handwriting window. But on the Note 3, it seems like I am able to write only one line. The handwriting panel seems to have changed when compared to the Note 2 as well. I was thinking this could be a handwriting setting, but could not find where the handwriting settings are. By any chance anyone have any idea how to change handwriting settings or write well, say 2 lines of text in the handwriting panel and still get the phone to recognize it? Thanks everyone!

[Q] Dictionary not working...

Hi all, sorry if this has been asked before but I cant find an answer. I've figured out how this works if i add and use the Swype keybd. Seems to work as expected but if i want to use the Samsung keybd it doesn't work. Meaning if Samsung is my default keybd no words ever get added to the dictionary. Seems like the settings in Language and Input for Samsung keybd are different from Swype. And i dont see a section in the Samsung keybd for my words or a dictionary. I'm more a conventional typing person so Swype isnt really for me and I like the Samsung keybd more. Appreciate if anyone can guide me to a resolution. All i really want to do is have words like "hv", "cld", "shld" recognized when i type and not always predict something other than that. Unless of course it expanded the words to "have", "could", "should". A bit more info: If I look in language and input I have the samsung keybd as grayed out and checked on and below that the swype keybd as checked on and available to change. Thanks in advance.

Asking help for selecting Muliple language on my Keyboard.

Hello folks, thanks for taking the time to read or help with my problem.
I just received my galaxy s4 Im very happy with it, now im encountering a problem with my keyboard. I rooted the phone and installed the Android 5.0.2 | Optimized CyanogenMod 12 builds [STABLE] I love it thank you .
Okay so I basically would like to Use multiple language on my Keyboard, I come from an iphone 4s and it was very easy to change languages I had a little icon and I could add unlimited amounts of languages and switch without trouble. Now Im having really a bad time, the stock keyboard let me select only 1 input language, I tried Swiftkey even bough a theme similar to ios, but I find Horrendous I hate that the numbers and special icons are all together, and even after adding my languages, I cant slide or select by pressing the space bar. On top of that is crashing . I Need actually to have 4 Languages Input and be able to switch easy and nice. If any one could help me out that would be awesome Thank you very much
There should be some options in the Language & input settings.

Then download google keyboard. It's basically the same, but I know it supports multiple lanaguages..after they have been downloaded.
Or, they keyboard thst I'm using, multiling keyboard. Attention as there also is a multiling O keyboard. They are both by the same developer. They're both very lightweight.
Man you rock, in using Google keyboard exactly how I wanted thanks again.

What keyboard are you using? If you are using the Sammy keyboard you actually add them from the keyboard itself. Type the word then, before hitting the space bar tap the checkmark that appears in the suggested word bar.
If you use the Google keyboard, look in Settings > Language and input for the Personal directory.
Others, who knows...

On Nougat - how can I add a row of number to the keypad?

I've come from a Samsung which had a row of numbers above the qwerty keyboard which I found really helpful/convenient.
I googled how to do this for my Nexus 6p, on Nougat 7.0 and I can't find any obvious way in preferences or in the keyboard itself. Am I missing something or do I need to download a different keyboard?
Thanks once again for the help everyone.

I use swift key and I know they have it, not sure about the others, sorry.
Long press the comma in the Google keyboard, and tap the Settings gear. Select Preferences--> Custom input styles, then tap the + icon. Choose your Language, and for Layout select PC.
thanks to both of you
I'm trying out the PC layout. a bit crampt so might look at swift key.
thanks!
Before I was on Nougat MM google keyboard would give you a dedicated number row when entering a password. It was only when the cursor was in a password field. I thought that was odd, had never seen that before on a google keyboard. But that just means the keyboard has the functionality to have a dedicated number row and NOT be in the PC layout. I'm surprised that some dev hasn't figured out a way to have that row at all times.
