Ok Let me start off with I have read through the forum and apparantly IMEI is shunned and google has lead me to a bunch of shady people who " for 25.00 can fix my problem. So here is the deal. My note 3 was stolen and my security software was able to get a GPS location and some pictures of the perps. Took about a week but the police were able to recover the phone and another 2 weeks to get it back. The police recovered it from some shady cell phone shop. They told me it was Zapped. Come to find out the IMEI that is in the phone no longer matches the serial number on the back of the phone. Since I m not sure how to fix the imei I used the phone for the last 2 months until the 7 came out. Now I tried to revert back and VZ says its a bad IMEI. So I have a phone with a fake IMEI. Can somebody send me a link or some info if its able to be fixed. Samsung said after 30 September they are no longer servicing out of warranty devices. I have enclosed some pics to add some legitimacy to the thread.

Hi All,
Been on phone to HTC this morning arranging a repair collection for tomorrow a.m. Received email from them with the packing label to print out but the email always says make sure I fill in the ticksheet.. What ticksheet?
I think they've missed an attachment in the email.. although the email they sent renders very poorly in everything I've got to look at my emails :S
Does anyone have a copy of this ticksheet they refer to ?
Thanks
every ticksheet will be different as it contains details about your case in particular.
get back onto HTC to get them to resend it
cq.
Apparnetly they can do without it as they'll know what your phone is there for by it's serial/IMEI number.
Best get onto them here: http://contactus.europe.htc.com/wFrmMailLogin.aspx and ask for one to be safe though.
For reference, it looks like this:

Thanks everyone, I've got onto them hopefully they'll send one in time, if not I'll just include a letter containing whats on the ticksheet anyway, so that should be sufficient.
A few days ago my phone started acting strange, with the screen completely glitching out on me (see below). Has anyone had this problem and does anyone know how to fix it? Any help would be appreciated TREMENDOUSLY! Thank you guys!

Its definitely a hw problem so either one of the flex cables has become damaged or loose (thats what happens when you use a cheap flex cable like they did), or the gpu has died.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1646537 might help.
Edit: Warranty in UK is 2 years for this device, I don't know about the US. Even if its just a years warranty where you live, you might still be within that period. I would personally call up the sony mobile service centre and check. If its out of warranty, then they should atleast give you a price for repair. At the very least, you can compare the cost to local places. Needless to say, cracking it open and attempting to repair it yourself should probably be a last resort.
Still, its in the wrong section.
if you try to relock bootloader using s1tool(the testpoint thing i mean)and send it is sony i guess you still have the warranty...I don't know i'm noob here just trying to help:laugh::good:
I've just bought a Nexus 7 from Google Play's web page, and after revising the summary of the order I realised that I dind't put my surname and the door of my building (my door, not the number of the building). So my question is: Will I have any problem for reciving the tablet? The other data is ok. Google has already charged it. Thank you.

Yeah, I think you're going to have some issues
I would contact Google ASAP and say youve noticed some errors in your shipping information.
They will probably ask for your payment details, and the current details, and then they will add the rest of the information for you.

Go to the official service center with phone documents. Service man will take off this lock.
Hello, I'm new here so please go easy on me
My Samsung A20e (SM-A202F/DS) has got stolen while ago. The cops found the phone in a neighbouring country but it was already tinkered with. After it was returned to me, it had a problem booting. I can't remember the exact error, but I managed to fix the issue by re-flashing the firmware with Odin. Problem is, the phone does not register with my network provider anymore - in other words my SIM card doesn't work with it, I get no telephony or mobile data. After further investigation I discovered that the IMEI of the phone appears to be changed - the ones reported by the About menu does not match the ones printed on the back of the phone itself. Can this be the cause of the problem? Can someone please help?

This is all I get with the SIM card inserted:
Are you sure you flashed the correct firmware?

Yes, I'm pretty sure it's the correct one, model, country and everything. Downloaded it from: https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-a20e/firmware/SM-A202F/BGL/download/A202FXXS3BUC1/1530187
