How to return Oppo find 5 back to stock

Hi I just received my Oppo find 5 and before I root I wanted to know if there was any way if all goes wrong to return Oppo find 5 back to stock. Thanks in advance.

It's very easy. Just flash the stock ROM. If you need to go back to stock recovery too, there's a thread in the oppo forums that has a link to it, out you could just make a backup in recovery and save the boot.img on your computer and flash it using fastboot. This phone is a lot like a nexus and is easy to root and return to stock.

You can also say 'NO' to disable recovery flash when using a custom recovery to flash stock firmware.. badabing badaboom your back to stock with stock recovery!

I think CWM gives you this option but TWRP disables recovery flash by default. At least that has been my experience. One of the reasons I prefer CWM.

How can we re-enable recovery flash with the TWRP? Because I want to install an OTA update but it doesn't and I have installed this custom recovery.

You can also download the full wipe and install it manually.

Did that mean that everything in my phone will be deleted and it will revert to stock?

They released a flashable .zip fir their recovery on their forum. Here it is!

Hello guys!
My Nexus 4 is running PA 5 Alpha 2, rooted and custom kernel of course.
I got the .zip file of the 5.1 OTA.
How should I flash it?

How did you flash PA in the first place? Just follow the same steps. You should flash it with a custom recovery e.g. TWRP.

You can't flash the ota in a custom recovery. You have to sideload it in the stock recovery. You have to be 100% stock system, kernel and recovery.

I just need to know is there any way to take back up for your stock rom or can anyone plz provide link for stock ROM

You can easily make a backup of your actual rom, apps, data if you have installed twrp custom recovery.

Is it safe to upgrade to TWRP 3.0.2?

Hi there.
Is anyone here using TWRP 3.x? I'm still on 2.x, since I read of lots of problems with newer versions of the recovery on this device, but I'd like to upgrade now. Can anyone give me some feedback?

I see no reason to update if u have no issue on 2.x. sometimes upgrade is just a no go.

Try it.. It totally a new design You can revert back, if you don't like it.. By flashing the image through the new twrp itself.

If you're trying to downgrade, it means that you've flashed TWRP.
If you've flashed TWRP, it means that you already know how to flash a custom recovery.
If you already know how to flash a custom recovery, then this is EXACTLY the same thing. Just pick an older version of TWRP and flash it the exact same way you would flash any version of TWRP.
And if you don't even know how to do that, google is your friend.

Guys I need urgent help !!!
Please tell me how do I get back to stock rom? and I only want to go back to stock rom not recovery.
Currently on CM 14.1 and my device is ZE550KL

Here's a zip I made. It's the latest firmware. Just download and flash. It will say "no OS installed" when you try to reboot to system but it's fine. It works. And wait for at least 10 minutes on ASUS splashscreen. IT WILL WORK.
