Hi, I recently flashed latest cm13 nightly and I'm using jerrica kernel but after flashing jerrica kernel I'm unable to play music and music app crashing frequently. Please help me out as i can't live without music.!!
The kernel is getting you in trouble , Try reflashing the Rom (Recommended is clean flash) , do not install any custom kernel and you should be having good time with music and cm13 on your redmi 2 or prime

You can go with CM11 as suggested by Sourav above, for extreme battery life and performance. It has a bug that sometimes the phone screen won't turn on for even one minute. Otherwise, it has the max. performance.
Or, you can try MIUI v6.5.26 which has a beautiful UI and doesn't have any bugs or lags whatsoever. Custom kernels like Telo, GoD's R1 and Phanto kernel works flawlessly with it.
The miui 6.5.25 is kitkat or lollipop based ROM???
Iam in lollipop if I want to change to a kitkat based ROM what to do

MIUI is lollipop 5.1.1. To flash KK rom, you'll have to flash stock KK first.
Check the Phantom Kernel Thread its updated with instructins

Hey guys, I have a Question for 2014811 users.
Are you get Blueflickerin screen when using CyanogenMod Roms?
I found this bug since I using CM 12, and CM13 now still exist. I dont know why. I try premaca kernel that stock rom kernel based, then I cant play video and music, using other cm kernel based there same has blueflickerin bug.
I also face this issue with the Official Miui 8 Lollipop on the prime edition.
Any fix people?
I had blue flickering on Resurrection Remix when I toggled the flashlight to on in the QS drawer. I have since performed a clean flash and have not observed the flickering again.
Perhaps try a clean install (format internal storage and then flash) and see if the problem persists.
I will try it :good:
guys, go to developer settings, find the option named 'Disable HW overlay', Disable it. Thats it
So, this ia very old problem that i cant solved it yet. i've installed mokee history based MM OS yesterday, when i use it for gaming (Mobile Legends), the ping's going to very high (400ms) that make me cant playing well, can someone give me solution to solve this problem? this problem appeared on every MM based custom rom
Flash LineageOS 7.1.2 with the latest arm pico opengapps
Same here, but in clash royale. The game crash at playing.
i have a question about the custom rom
why this roms have random reboot ? any solution? probed on resurrection remix, lineageos even in the most stable rom aosp extended and i have random reboot that i think caused the wifi, on any wifi that i conect mi redmi 2 prime with a custom rom (just on lineageos and other custom rom based on android 7, on miui work fine) have a problen with the wifi conection and this cause a random reboot or this is the i think
plz help me
pd. sorry if my english is not good
Same problem here. Even with kernel panic disabled.
My current workaround is to reflash the kernel every time the problem surfaces.
Redmi 2 also same problem. I'm using that.
And don't suggest that I flash MIUI 8 cos memory management is poor.
Hi, installed telegram recently and found a POCO M3 | Official group which they discuss about kernel and GSI. Just to let u guys know there is a kernel called Moon Kernel out there. Personally I haven't try installing as I just flash v12.0.7 and still trying to reinstall /restore back all my other apps.
I tried it (25.02 version) and I find it laggy on my phone compare to UnicornHorn kernel but I will try the 01.03 version.
Don't forget to use the Profile v1.1 for Magisk with this kernel.
PS: I'm currently on 01.03 version of CitrusMoon Kernel and it's really better than the previous version.
