Power_profile.xml from Snapdragon device - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

Hi,
I'm looking for the Power_profile.xml found in System/framework/framework-res.apk in the folder /res/xml/ if decompiled with APKtool.
If that's too much work, simply the framework-res.apk will work perfectly fine you can pull that from a running system.
Tried to find this file in the Source code, but that doesnt work ~.~
And the official Firmware had some kind of strang encrypted system.img
thanks,
Haldi

Out of curiosity, why do you need it?

and i still need it. So if anyone could spare a few minutes and pull the framework-res.apk i would be grateful.

i fork some files from Victor-android project into device/huawei/u8800pro,i don't use my own vendor tree, bacause i still try to create it,at this time my rom maybe can't works.
Although this does contain what could be thought of as development. It is still a question. Good luck with your rom, when you are at a testing stage please post it in the development thread, or PM me and i will move this one back when your at that stage.
Peace!

the android 2.3.7's updater only support for ext4 filesystem.
So iadd this item to BoardConfig.mk
TARGET_USERIMAGES_USE_EXT4 := true

Wrong forum! Or is this question your rom ?
Anyways, there is really no support available for ge roms afaik. you just need to set the resolution to 1080p and it should work.
You can try Gallery2.apk from Cm10.2, and see what that does

[Q] Stock Camera with CM 12.1

Hi there,
how can I install the original Note 4 Camera to my Note 4?
I've searched the web a lot, but did not find a solution.
I even tried to back it up with Titanium- did not work.
I've also tried to extract it from a Nandroid Backup.
Any ideas for me, please?
Always the same question, and the answer is always the same: it is not possible unless you port various parts of the system from Touchwiz to the AOSP ROM.
No one achieved that so...

[Layers] Themes Thread (ROOT)

Let's use this thread to show/discuss layers themes and how they work with HTC 10!
LAYERS DESIGNED FOR HTC 10 Or by people with our device are in the 2nd post!
1. Here's the layers app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.lovejoy777.rroandlayersmanager
2. You then need to install a layer theme from the playstore, go into the Layers app and apply SOME of the theme. Don't apply framework or system ui. Sadly, these won't work on HTC 10 at the moment. Choose the other stuff. Or, apply what you want and see if you get a bootloop. Fixes for that are below.... Feel free to apply any APP THEMES like themes for Chrome, Google Now, etc as those should all work with any device.
If you want to use a 'settings' layer you have to flash this in recovery FIRST https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24591000424946196
Thanks to @maurydes for the zip! (NOTE: The icons won't change, but other elements will)
3. Reboot.
BTW the layers app might fc at first. Also, It requires root.
PROBLEMS? BOOTLOOP?
If you get a bootloop/constant fc after installing a layer, go into TWRP and go to advanced then file manager and delete the overlays folder here: Go to /system/vendor/overlay/
YOU NEED TO MOUNT SYSTEM in TWRP first.
So far it seems applying a FRAMEWORK will bootloop you. We're better off applying 'settings' (f;ash the above zip first) and specific app overlays (like hangouts, GNL, Gmail, etc) until a themer makes a framework layer we can use.

THE BELOW SETUP REQUIRES SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
unzip the file move the unzipped folder to - sd card/internal storage - Overlays - Backup -
then go into layers manager - backup & Restore - select the htc10layers file -
after restoring without a reboot you could go back in to uninstall overlays and see the list of overlays and remove if you don't want any...

list of included layers in above zip... few of them are by @maurydes , some from playstore(if you want to the layer names let me know) and aosp status bar layers from @jsaxon2 ..
I had no idea that " Layers " would work on Sense based ROM's. I thought that was for AOSP nexus ROM's only ?
Wow..will give it a try.. Thanks

Well it doesn't work the way we want it to sadly. As I said in the OP, we can't apply framework and probably not systemUI either (I'm still testing themes though) so we're left with theming apps like in my chrome and play music screenshots.
I hope we can find some overlays that are fun and work with our phone but for god's sake don't apply a FULL layers theme and expect your phone to boot! Let me know what you guys find.
Not work for system apps but work for Google app,

Google now?
I tried it out just to see what happens and didn't boot loop but the layer I tried didn't work quite right either. Left me with a plain white, no text settings page.
AZURE FREE seems to be pretty compatible with the 10 so far. Some themes seem to be more compatible than others. Give it a shot if you want to try some free themes out and see if they work!
Hay maurydes. Glad to see you in here. Loved what you did for us on the opt ??

Does Android Pay still work with layers installed?
That's a great find, thanks for sharing! Loving Coalfield on the HTC 10, wish there was a way to make framework as well.

Yeah the settings layers won't work really. They weren't designed for our settings. You can try WHITE background layers for settings and it will change the switch colors, but nothing else till we get support from a theme dev.

I extracted them some months ago. Here's the thread -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-2/themes-apps/stock-wallpapers-notifications-t3400281
I extracted them from framework-res.apk OR the launcher apk. Not sure. Currently not on a stock rom. So If you want to know the exact source, attach "framework-res.apk" + the launcher apk. I'll decompile them & find out.
