Okay, so i flashed CM 14 Unofficial build and i'm facing problem. I can't hear anything for 5-10 sec. Is there any way to fix it? Thanks.
With earphones there's no delay. Without there is delay.
So... In the CM14 post they're already talking about the call delay, and you made a thread about the same problem? Why you didn't ask on the CM14 thread instead on making a new one?

Actually, thank you for noticing and mentioning this. This highly suggests an audio problem!

Oh yes looks like. I just tested it on my earphones. No call delay at all. Nor that sticking incallui.
Need any logs?

So I'm sure you all have had the same issue. Notification sounds not being loud enough. I remember the aosp clone rom including some hck or something that increased the noti volume to phone call volumes. Anyone know where or how to obtain this? Its definitely useful and idk how the devs haven't caught on to this after so long.

dowload audio manager widget(free on market or u can buy full version for a few bucks) use that to control all volume aspects on your phone. Alaram, media, alerts(SMS or regular notification), in call volume, etc. works great, deff agree that the volume is low out of box but this will do the trick for ya
I use quick settings, it has a check box that locks the notification volume to the ringer volume so I can adjust both at the same time with the rocker switch.
Use these files and replace them in the system/etc/audio folder on your rom. These files will increase the volume. You should be able to use root explorer.

I use T-mobile. I noticed that I have no sound received or transmitted out in the first second of any voice call. I tested two nexus 4 and they both behave the same. It is annoying. Is there any fix for that?

I don't know where it is but I'm positive there is another thread on this. I was looking for it the other day, but I'm not sure where it is.
A lot(if not all) of us are experiencing the same. I didn't see a fix at the time I last saw the thread though.

I've had to wait for more than a second a few times.
And while I'm all for settling for mediocrity, it's a phone. Any other phone, you don't have to wait a second, or repeat hello and hope the other person hears you eventually.
I dunno, I don't make THAT many phone calls, but when I do use it, I'd like it to work properly.
EDIT: Here's that thread. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2043911

thank god its only a software problem, thanks for replying.
how can i fix this?
i tried flashing stock rom and stock kernel but it still happens.
i am currently on stock deodexed rom and franco kernel
A lot of ROMs let you change the DPI, maybe it has something to do with that. But I don't know what the hell those weird dots are in the second screenshot.
You could ask around in the franco kernel thread, if that's the only thing you've changed. When did this problem occur for the first time? Right after you flashed the kernel?

Embarrassing that someone loves you? Nah, of course not! But we're getting a tad off-topic. If you were already experiencing this problem before you were rooted, it has nothing to do with that. Was it this way the second you turned on your Nexus 4 for the first time ever? Right after you bought it?

this is not 100% correct. if there is something wrong with the GPU or the memory for the GPU then its quite common that it will cause artifacts these artifacts would also show up in a screenshot because the errors/ issue is being rendered.
so reflash stock images if you still see it then you have to RMA, or contact lg for repairs. it MAY be a hardware problem. so just its a screen shot does not instantly make it a software issue.
I'd say flash stock ROM but 4.2 without any ota and carry on from there

Whenever I go into dual shot and try to take a pic... As soon as I click on the dual shot icon my camera (both front and rear facing cameras) freeze and I cannot see what I am taking a picture of. I have only got it to work 2 times so far. Hopefully it's just a bad Dual Shot APK that I have and not faulty hardware. Anyone have the dual shot APK that'd be greatly appreciated!! Every other camera mode works fine.

Wow so weird... I was literally JUST about to test if it was KT Kernel doing this. I will notify him of this and maybe there is a workaround for it! I thought it was either a mod or the kernel... turns out it's the kernel. Not too big of a deal, but like you said, yes it is a minor annoyance lol.
thanks

If we follow the time it took for 5.0 to go from "Uploading" to actually available in Xperifirm, it took about a week. At least we know it's

Sony's firmware servers are DOWN right now. This usually happens around update time. They might come back up with new update files. Or they might not.
Edit: False alarm. Servers are back, with some updates, but none Marshmallow related.
