i wants to update latest modem,... but i m unable to update/flash anything via odin...
while Odin throug my pc it says Write protection: Enabled :crying:
check failed: md5 somthing like that
is there any way to update my device's modem??
i m using omega 17 rom..

I purchased a BRAND NEW A7 2016 (on a sale) from a local retailer. It has the out of the box 5.1.1 lollipop installed, and knowing that there are some regions with 6.0.1 already, I tried to update mine. When clickng the "download update manually" button, it shows "Registering Device" and follwed by a "processing failed" prompt. Googling yielded no solutions. Upon consultation at sammobile forums, I recently found out that my MODEL NUMBER and my FIRMWARE numbers are not the same.
MODEL # in box : SM-A710FD * SE Asia Dual Sim version
MODEL # in phone : SM-A7108 (Shown in Download Mode) *Supposedly for Chinese Model A7 (Chinese Android w/out GPlay)
Firmware : A710FXXU1APH3 *Supposedly Europe Firmware installed
Baseband : A710FXXU1APH3
CSC : BRI (Taiwan)
The box was sealed when I got the unit so I really don't know how this could possibly happen.
What's more peculiar is that there is no OEM Samsung Keyboard out of the box (only google keyboard is installed).
So far I have tried flashing A710FD UAE Firmware (Secure Check Fail BOOTLOADER error) and A7100 Hong Kong Firmware (Just straight up FAIL) and currently downloading the A710F Russian MM Firmware for a final try.
Any help or suggestions would be great!
They must've changed the motherboard/case.
Go with what the software says, not the back sticker.

i have same problem and i payed and downloaded every a710 fd rom and try to solve this . at last i know this phone for china when this phone come to other places samsung company flashing costum rom to phone .
real model is : a7108
if you want . you can download and install a7108 with odin .( i downloaded and use it . because its faster and give more batterry life . but dont have my place language and any google apps like gapps) when ever i cant solve gapps problem . i use real a7108 rom and i like it . for and friends with a7108 model i sugested use real rom for this phone with updateble rom from company .
when i flashing a710fd rom with pit file or 4file rom i receved pit error . and when i flashing a710 fd single file i see bootloader error. use real rom . goood luck

SM-A7108 firmware.
Hi,
I need your help. I have galaxy a5 2016 with firmware original samsung. But Id like to use TMOBILE firmware for support VOLTE in Czech Republic. When I try put throw ODIn si it write me FAIL ... device 4 binary 3 ,, this is some problem with lock bootloader ? How can I repair it or do it for change firmware ?

Continue : I tryed download new firmware 7.0 tmobile version and I tryed send throw ODIn to phone . But after modem.bin is FAIL
DONE ..... After day I have solving - First I had to put from ODIN correct PIT for TMOBILE , and after this I send TMOBILE firmware to phone. ANd all is DONE

I have a galaxy j5 2016 , When I looked under the battery It says that is an SM-J510F , But when I enter to the download mode It says that the model number is : J5108 , I've downloaded the firmware of the SM-J510F , and when I tried to flash it through odin , It fails , and give me this error : Secure check : aboot , Can anyone please help me?
