I have a rooted N910F now running stock MM. I came from RamRom but decided to try a rooted Stock rom. The thing is that now it won't rotate the screen. It's rooted and I have also installed xposed. When looking at fullscreen youtube it rotates, even if I go into recent apps they are in landscape mode but won't rotate back to portrait, it's stuck there.
Can it be a hardware issue?

i have recently flashed my blade with the Swedish_Spring_RLS5 rom. the rom worked fine. however the autorotate feature did not work anymore. neither does the compass (tested with compass app). since then i have upgraded to gen2 and flashed cyanogen mod 7.0.3. autorotate still does not work. any ideas on why this is the case? or any manual rotation workarounds? the second best solution (after getting the autorotate back to work) would be to configure the hard buttons in a way that holding down the volume up button would rotate the screen. is there a way to achieve this? thanks in advance!

i have narrowed the problem down. it appears to be a kernel issue. the sensors (esp the accelerometer) do work with swedish spring and softbank kernel. is there a way to get the softbank kernel available for ss to work with cm7?

I used ioroot25 to root my device and installed TWRP 2.7. Then i wiped all and installed lastest nightly CM11, everithing worked fine, except screen rotation. When i hold my device horizontal nothing happens, it doesn't matter what application i use, it just don't rotate. Also when i use camera horizontal, all taken pictures are shown vertical, so i need to rotate them manually.
I also tried other 4.4.2 roms and all of them had same problem. Before i rooted everything worked just fine.

Choose your baseband KK and flash it
Auto rotate is a common issue on kk aosp. There's a whole thread and a fix dedicated to it in original development.
Hi everyone! I have a hardware related issue here.
I have replaced the screen (+digitizer in a whole) and since then it is randomly going off and on. Interestingly it even did the same in recovery (TWRP 2.3) BUT not with every software! Installing the TWRP 2.6 or above stopped it happening in the recovery.
I have tried various ROMs so far. The Eclipse ver3 did not flicker, but it has a problem with the registering on a network here in the UK. Stock + stock based ROM (Rage 1.2) are also switching on-off. I am currently looking for a working ROM.
Please let me know if someone with the same problem can find one.
Also tried to play with developer options like Disable HW overlays or Force GPU rendering with no effect.
I wonder if it is a different hardware version of the replacement screen or what else can it be? (screen came from etradesupply)

Good news. Installing CyanogenMOD 11 solved the screen flashing issues and everything seems to work right. Thank you developers!
I downloaded pimp my rom App, as I was testing its features It affected the rom and my tab won't power on normally so I download a lenovo rom from xda after I flashed the auto screen rotation of my ideatab A3000-H stop working,I have reflashed the rom severally yet no change, pls help me it affected me that I can't play some games or even change the keyboard from landscape to potrait for typing
Hi. Sorry if this has been posted before, but auto rotate has stopped working. The device is stuck in landscape mode. If i disable auto rotate from settings, it will go back into portrait. It used to work on this same build but now it doesn't. The tablet was dead for about a week and I now started to use it again. Tried clearing cache.
