New AND old.
I'm coming back after leaving for 6p.
I gave away my old n6, but at this price, I'm definitely coming back and returning the 6p.
Aaaaaaand I picked up one also.
At this price it is awesome as insurance in case I brick/drop/loose mine.
I just picked up a 64gb for $259 on amazon because I bought my 32gb a couple weeks ago for $350.

Yup! You beat me to it! lol. I just came here to post.
64GB is $259.99! Both Midnight Blue and Cloud White!
Just picked a 64 up. Been an HTC supporter for years, but curious to try Nexus. I'll play with it and really can't lose. If I hate it, I'll return it to Amazon, and if I love it, I can sell my M9 for more than I paid for the Nexus.
I really wanted the 6P for awhile, but quality issues according to the xda forum, and not trusting Huawei yet kept me from taking the plunge.
I have never had a pure Android phone, although I've run AOSP and Cyanogen Roms on my various HTC devices. I'm scared I'm going to want to keep both...D'oh!

Going to be a lot of pissed off people that bought one very recently. It kind of sucks when this happens for people that paid full price, but that is life! Although, if you can still return it... I'm not going to lie, if in the past 30 days I paid $399 for a 64gb Nexus 6, I would order another RIGHT NOW and then return my original for refund. Yup, I'm that guy. That's $150... If it was $50 or less I wouldn't waste my time but $150 and a shiny new, dust free speakers. Hell yeah.
I can't complain, I bought a 32GB blue 2 months ago for $300, then when I sent it in to Motorola I got them to send me a 64GB White instead. (Long story)
Just ordered a 64 gb white for 259.
They are selling out fast! As of right now, only 64gb Blue is in stock for the sale by Amazon.
All gone.
I picked a 64gb up in midnight blue. Can't wait as this is my first Nexus phone.
Must be sold out for now. Kind of pissed I am paying $20/mo to project fi for mine, and still owe $400.

How come you're returning the 6p, if you don't mind me asking.
The 64GB version is still around 550-600 USD in the EU on Amazon
Just bought a one month old blue 64GB model for 360 USD, sick and tired of the Huawei EMUI on the Mate 7 though the batterylife was awesome.

I have the 6P, returning it as I got in on this deal and managed to score a few for friends and family.
For me, my Nexus 6P cost just under $900 cdn for the 128 gb model. Switching to the Nexus 6 64 gb, my phone is now only about $340 cdn funds so that is my main reasoning for the switch. Looking forward to getting mine!

Not sure yet as I haven't owned a Nexus 6 yet, just the 6P. The 6P was a great phone, really snappy and feels great in the hand, I will let you know when I get the 6
For the past week I've been considering trading in my S6 & getting a 6P, I've always been a fan of Nexus phone's in the past I've had the Nexus 4, 5 & 6 before getting a S6.
So do you think it worth trading in the S6 for a 6P?

I just upgraded to the 6P from my nexus 6 2 days ago. I was waiting for the 2016 Nexus, but with the rumors of the next nexus being manufactured by HTC I thought I'd rather go with the Huawei seeing as HTC seems to be flopping. Personally I'd definitely go for the 6P over the S6, I had a note 4 which I guess is a similar experience and the 6P so far is the best phone I've ever laid my hands on. It's a great experience overall. I'd never go back with Samsung, waiting over a year for OTA's is just ridiculous.

I have around £450 spare to spend on a new phone, obliviously selling or trading in the S6 will give me abit more spare cash to play about with.
The S6 is a decent phone but my biggest bugbear with this phone is signal it's really poor, in all but the strongest of signal areas.
Where I live it's struggles to pick up any decent signal at all, where as my past Nexus 6 would usually connect to 4G no problem.
I am in the market for a new phone and would like to know if I should get a nexus 6p. I like to do custom roms and experiment with roms and stuff recently had the lg g3 but that was a nightmare for custom roms.
I am hearing that the Pixel phone will not be rootable but what phone is out of the box.
I have some bestbuy gift cards and they have the 6p i was going to get the 64gb version but I am torn between waiting for the pixel release to see if its worth it or just get the 6P any help or thoughts would be appreciated.
I have sprint and it works great for me so that is just more info I even looked at the axeon but its not supported by sprint.
You could wait only another week October 4... Here's some interesting posts: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/general/upgrade-to-2016-nexus-marlin-t3417724
Either way you should wait. As soon as the new Pixel phones are released the 6P will drop in price, both online and on the street.
I don't care what people say this galxy s7 suxs tried to take a video and phone locked up. Can't wait to get a nexus phone
I Would wait for a while until the pixel phones get released.
Any opinions on this now that the pixel xl has debut
No Pixel overpriced and outdated toys for me. Not in the same league as the Nexus6 & 6p or the upcoming Mate9, V20, Asus 3 Deluxe, etc.!
I got a 64gb 6P not long after launch. I dropped my phone a few times so Im gonna wait until the Pixel gets released and get the 128gb 6P....Pixel is overpriced smh
Well i guess google is also trying to get rid op the 6P... i just ordered the 6p 32gb variant, I also have the LG G3 D855 and i was loving al the custom roms still love the speed of the G3 on custom roms, its still fast enough... but after 2 years i want something new and the OP3 i have to pay 400 euros and now i pay monthly and the screen is too small of the OP3. Axon is still not in my country and also i have to pay around the 400. I will pick it up tomorrow morning
Ordered My 6P

I went from the LG G3 to the Nexus 6P a couple of months ago and I do not regret it. I also have had a Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 5 and I really missed the pure Android experience. Congrats on your purchase, you won't be disappointed.

I looked it up and it means its not on there system got a ticket setup to fix it friday still nothing.
I called again today and got another ticket setup even got the ticket number.
Any help getting this activated would be great full please let me know
Holy ****
It took forever but finally got my phone activated on Sprint had to keep calling and finally got somebody that knew what they where doing.
I ended up getting the 128 gb of ebay for cheap.
Trying to install CM 14.1 on it now
Tried CM13 but it got stuck at White google screen.

buy it, it is the best phone there is (for me at least it is).
before i bought my 6p i already knew about the pixel, that it was coming out and well i didnt wait to buy that one because it has (no stereo front facing speakers/somewhat smaller screen, and looked way inferior design wise compared to the sexy 6p).
i have bought the silver 6p and boy is it seksey , i am very happy with it, there are alot of custom roms and kernels to play around with whenever you want to.
and a good handful of mods, and we are getting nougat.
i would recommend it, superb phone.

How cheap?
I think about $480
Just sold mine for $400 I loved the dev support but not a big fan of the phone itself.
Mine will be going on Swappa as soon as I can order a black 128GB Pixel XL.
The 6P is a really good phone but after using my wife's Pixel XL I have now been spoiled by the overall smoothness.
Evening,
I've pre-ordered the Pixel 128gb in Quite Black (the blue wasn't available--waaah!) and an XL to test which is best for me. Estimated delivery 24-26th Oct.
How about you?
i preordered the 32gb in black, Oct 24, 2016 – Oct 26
i think i read somewhere blue is exclusive to the US
up on CPW with £50 play voucher and shipping by 20th! Damn you El goog
https://www.carphonewarehouse.com/google/pixel.html#!colour=silver&capacity=32GB&dealType=pm
Contracts are a bit steep!
Way way too expensive for me. :crying:
Looks like it will be the one plus 3 for me.
I'm still on my M7 which I bought for £480 when it was new.
So yeaaaah I was not prepared for these prices.
I'd probably pay £550 for a 128GB, 5" Pixel. But that's a full £150 less than what it currently is. I can't justify that, no way.
Guess I'll wait.

M7 here too. Really had my hopes up when rumours of an HTC Nexus started. Now the Pixel is here I can't justify the cost. There's nothing extraordinary and the real killer for me is the software update support hasn't been changed from the Nexus.
I pre ordered the Pixel 32gb then cancelled the order when my sanity kicked back in. I'm just going to keep my Nexus 6P for another year. I can live without google assistant and the pixel launcher. That being said I am really excited to see what google does with the pixel brand.
I ordered the Pixel 128GB in black from CPW - tried to order on the Google Store, but it broke (clicked to confirm purchase and it just looked at me like a demented labrador). Same price as a ludicrously expensive iPhone 7, but I wanted a 'pure android' phone with the latest updates, enough storage and wanted it to fit comfortably in my pocket - so either pay silly money or compromise on one of my three requirements.
Website initially indicated delivery date of October 20th, but showed October 21st when I ordered. Presumably at these prices there won't be the long waiting lists that there were for the 6P and the 5.
I was very disappointed to see that the pricing is inline with the Apple iPhone 7. Weird, as previous Google phones (Nexus) were priced considerably much lower. I wonder where the spike in price has come from? Google trying to be as greedy as Apple?

Massive price difference compared to the new Google Pixel!
The blue colour kinda looks a bit too plastic for my liking

This is XDA, I am sure your 6P will be able to get the Pixel Launcher and or Assistant. If you root it, in time you'll probably get the same Pixel experience on your 6P.
So So disappointed with the pixel phones and their prices, what was Google thinking?
Mine's on order from CPW. Delivery for 20th October. It was expensive but I figured if I didn't order it, every day I would waste time thinking about ordering it. I was like this with the Moto Z; ordered it, and then sent it back.
Thinking now though...would the Moto Z be a better phone in the end...hmmmm
I may have accidentally ordered one (Black 128GB) direct from the Google Store as I'm thinking the customer services will be better based on past experience if I get any problems.
I was torn between the Pixel and Pixel XL. Given I have a 6P the XL would have been the natural choice, however I don't think I can justify the extra cost (hard enough to justify as it is). Plenty of time to cancel/change my mind though
Same here @Azarin. 128gb in black.
The XL price was just a stretch too far, plus, I only have small hands
Ordered from Google, IMO the customer support is better than CPW. I have sent things back to google in the past without issue.
Soon I will be retiring my Honor 5x (which was a standby phone after my MotoX Style broke, and they couldn't repair it...long story..)
I've been hanging on to my HTC One M8 waiting on the new phones to be announced. The price is quite steep but is compounded by the raw deal for UK purchases.
The Pixel is 650 USD in the US which is just under 510GBP. In the US you get the DayDream Viewer chucked in as a sweetener - but not in the UK. If you want to buy that (once available) its an additional 69 GBP
So, UK price for the pack is 668GBP v 510 GBP for the same in the US......which seems to be completely taking the p!ss - 30% dearer...
I'm wondering if I should sensibly look at something else - Oneplus 3??

Op3 tempting but bigger than I really want.
I've pre-ordered on EE with an early upgrade, only a few days early.
Will this phone have loads of **** installed from EE or will this be just a google phone?

I would be really wary of buying a used Nexus 6P. There were obviously quality control issues with this phone. Too many people with boot loop and battery issues who need to RMA. Without a warranty you could end up with a paperweight.

Moto G4 Plus looks really good for a $279 price tag. The one major drawback is no NFC. But he can get a brand new phone with decent specs and a warranty.

I had a g4 plus (moto) before i bought a nexus 6p. All i can say is it is one kf the best phones that i used.
No issues at all. Running great up to now.
go for moto x pure edition 64 gb with great dual speaker at $260 best buy on sale
Depends what carrier you're on.
The Google Phones get updates faster than the moto phones of course. I would recommend the Moto Phones if he either a) knows how to unlock bootloader and flash custom roms, or b) doesn't care about stock updates. Moto is generally notorious for lack of updates.
If you're on GSM, could always get a OnePlus device.

Nexus 6p is great and in many peoples opinions one of the best phones currently out. It is very customisable and easy to use with good battery. Also if your cousin is into nodding then this is one of the best phones for stuff like custom roms etc. I would highly recommend this phone because last I checked it was around 300. I bought mine from the google store almost a year ago for 300-320. Can't remember exactly. Good luck searching.
