i had done the same thing,
theres two ways to do this,
1} Go to lenovo service centre and tell them about the issue
or
2} DIY.
for resolving this i had to flash the stock files via pc.
I have unlocked the bootloader.
then i had to flash the stock files from pc
1) get this tool
http://forum.xda-developers.com/zuk-z1/orig-development/tool-toolzukz1eng0-0-3-mauronofrio-t3332563
2) download and install driver from above tool
3) Download stock rom using above tool.
4) boot phone into boot loader
5) connect to pc
6) unlock bootloader (this will factory reset the phone)
7) now again reboot to bootloader and flash stock rom by tool
8) now you are good to go!

I have the same issue, can you tell me which stock file can be flashed by this tool?

I installed nuclear rom 1.0.6 based on cm14 and lost LTE connectivity my provider is only available on band 38. I solved by restoring a backup of original cos12 with twrp and flashing
Nuclear rom 6.0.1

[Guide] Redmi Note 3 Special Edition (Kate) - how to easily flash Cyanogenmod 13

[For Redmi Note 3 Special Edition (Snapdragon CPU) only]
I've put this noob-friendly guide together to help anyone who wants to use Cyanogenmod 13 (Android 6.0) on their Redmi Note 3 Special Edition.
This can now be done without unlocking the bootloader which avoids a whole world of hassle. It involves flashing an official MIUI developer ROM which has had the stock recovery replaced by a custom recovery (Alka TWRP). You can then use the custom recovery to wipe MIUI and flash Cyanogenmod (or any other ROM you want to try). I have done this to my own phone and encountered no problems but I accept no responsibility in the unlikely event of your bricking your phone! The MIUI developer ROM in the link is one in which I have already replaced the stock recovery with Alka TWRP and uploaded to Mediafire. If you prefer to download the developer ROM from the official website and replace the stock recovery yourself that's fine. The Cyanogenmod ROM is actually for Kenzo so you will need to flash a firmware zip file to make it all work.
1. Download & install this version of Miflash.
2. Download the modded developer firmware containing the custom recovery and unzip it. Also download files to make the fingerprint reader etc work and the radio firmware here and Cyanogenmod 13 (use the snapshot dated 2016-08-20 04:06:46) and Open Gapps ARM64 6.0 nano but do not unzip them. Copy the last 3 zipped files to an external SD card and insert it in the phone. If your SD card is 32GB or bigger it will need to be formatted as FAT32 before Alka TWRP will recognise it. I found this utility to be very good at doing this but be very careful that you select the correct drive letter when using it.
3. Start your phone up and enable USB debugging.
4. Download and install minimal adb & fastboot.
5. Start up your phone (with the external SD card inserted) and connect it by USB to your PC. Run minimal adb on your PC, type adb devices and Enter, look for a popup box on your phone asking for permissions & accept it.
6. Type adb reboot edl and Enter, the phone will boot into edl mode with a blank screen.
7. Start up Miflash and point it to the unzipped modded firmware folder then flash it - takes around 400 sec.
8. Disconnect the phone, press Power and Vol Up to boot into TWRP recovery. When you boot into TWRP for the first time you will see that it's all in Chinese. Just tap on the second bottom button on the right then tap on the globe icon and select English as the language. Then you need to tap on the oblong button on the bottom right of the screen to save it. If at any time TWRP asks you to allow it to stop itself being replaced by stock recovery just agree to it.
9. *IMPORTANT* back up ALL partitions to the external SD card using TWRP. Later on, copy this backup to your PC and keep it safe. It's your insurance policy against any disasters such as losing your IMEI. Then boot into MIUI and wait for it to load (might take a while).
10. Once MIUI has loaded, shut down the phone then press Power and Vol Up to boot into TWRP recovery. Do a full wipe and then flash the CM13 ROM then the firmware + radio update then Gapps. Then boot into your new firmware!
11. Make sure you disable LiveDisplay in Settings or you will get screen flickering issues.
Maaan thanks for the guide, I followed this procedure last Sunday tho... I didn't know about backing up partitions so I didn't do it! What should I do NOW?
Too late to back up the MIUI partitions but not too late to back up all the Cyanogenmod partitions!
I backed up the partitions from TWRP on CM13... Is my IMEI and all that risky stuff OK?

You should be OK as long as you've backed up your EFS partition

Just the latest stable CM13 for Kenzo. I've seen a few such tutorials for Kenzo ROM to Kate but none mentioned root so didn't know whether there was a reason such as it not working etc.
Thanks again.

CM13 is already rooted but you need to activate it http://www.cyanogenmods.org/forums/topic/enable-root-access-cm13cyanogenmod-13-roms/
About step 10. I've got CM13 firmware, Radio and Gapps (3 files from point 2). There is 4 mentioned on step 10.
I've flashed 3 files, phone booted and it looks like mix of miui and cm13. The battery and signal indicator are miui like, but the welcome screen is clean android like. Now the problem - pressing yellow arrow makes "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped" (popup is in miui style) and I can not do anything
Also power off menu is in miui style. I had to do something wrong...
I guess that I need to flash CM13 first, which is not downloadable from this guide

Step 10 says do a full wipe as well. It doesn't sound like you did that or else you wouldn't be able to boot at all if you didn't flash the cm13 rom. But yes,
Full wipe (do not wipe external SD or phone storage)
Flash cm13 rom
Flash cm13 firmware, radio and then gapps.

The first file, CM13-firmware.zip is not needed because its an older version of the second file, CM13-firmware-kate-radio-20161124.zip, so you should remove it from your guide.
Actually it's maybe for Kenzo, so you should definitely delete it.

Also, the kenzo is 150 mm, the Kate 152mm, and the latter have a CE1317 mention on the box and a sticker on the phone.
So, finally I've been able to make mine run. Uploaded 4 files, CM13 last Snapshot and 3 from the guide - all working fine. Had problem, as CM13 itself is not mentioned in the guide. Cheers OP.
BTW, I've got Kate version.

My understanding was that the first firmware file was needed to make the fingerprint reader work, the second one contained only the radio. However, looking at the unzipped contents it appears you could be right.

Still No VoLTE for Redmi2 8gb variant

Hello, I currently am using a jio sim as my primary sim. However, i tried all the methods suggested on xda but still no volte.
List of things that i have tried:-
1. Tried flashing the modem(doesn't work at all)
2. Flashing MIUI 7.5 version as suggested( V7.5.2.0.LHJMIDE_20160629.0000.25_5.1_global ) to be precise
3. Tried flashing another one of Redmi2 Prime's firmware(global developer rom)
4. And tried flashing several other ROMs(Orion OS, RR, Tesla, AOSP and DU) after doing step2 and still no volte support found
Can anybody help me?
@cypherx1998 Flash kitkat dev rom 7.1.5 or newer from fastboot, after it starts booting turn of your device and boot into fastboot, then flash the latest lollipop dev rom and boot into it, setup your device, then go to settings, mobile data (I think, it's where you have the option to change to 3g and 4g data) and enable VoLTE voice calls, after that, reboot into fastboot and flash TWRP 3.0.2-0, then go to wipe, advanced wipe, select:
cache/dalvik-cache
system
data
internal storage
and then wipe, after that go to wipe again, select cache, then "change partition format" select F2FS, and swipe to apply, do the same thing for data, don't do on dalvik-cache and system, or else this may brick your device.
Then flash the wt88047 firmware avaliable on LineageOS second or third post, do a full wipe again, install VoLTE universal Patch Here do a full wipe again, then flash the latest LineageOS build, after wipe only cache and data, flash OpenGapps pico arm android 7.1.1 and reboot.
You will have VoLTE
Try to flash RR 5.8.0 nought ROM. U will have voLTe working on ur device. I am currently using that ROM. Go for it

However ur device will start lagging and ur free ram won't go higher than 300 MB.

Took me time to try this...but didnt work.....you might think that i didnt follow the steps properly..but i did and i verified on each step that i was doing it the right way....but sadly it didnt work
You may try Redmi 2 Prime ROM (stable or dev) for some days..Check whether you get VoLTE on that ROM or not.. If yes then use that for some days maybe 2 or 3 days..It will be slow at first then after 2 to 3 hours of use u will feel no lag..I was using Developer version for 2-3 months which was fine for daily driver..I just faced storage issue..Then I tried stable version, and the same issue was there.. So I decided to use some custom ROMs and I Flashed AOSP Extended (Nougat)..VoLTE works fine and the ROM is so much smooth with good battery backup..But due to slow internet speed I am using Mokee 7.1 right now.. You can try using R2P ROM for some days...If VoLTE works there then it will work on other ROMs too( as per my experience).
Ignore my english...

Yes just flash either the dev or stable Redmi 2 Prime ROM. I can say that this works because I have flashed it on as many as three devices. Just go to this link and find out Redmi 2 Prime Global Developer ROM or Global Stable ROM.
http://en.miui.com/a-234.html
Remember these are to be flashed in fastboot. After flashing this, you can flash any Nougat based ROM like LOS, RR, AEX, cRDroid, etc to enjoy VoLTE on those ROMs too.

http://en.miui.com/forum.php?mod=attachment&aid=NzYzMjQzfGFlZDEyMDMzfDE0NzI1NDg5MDJ8ODE5MTF8MzM2MTg0
2)
download fastboot rom redmi 2 prime global stable or china
http://bigota.d.miui.com/V8.1.3.0.L...DI_20161230.0000.00_5.1_global_23ac47dab8.tgz
above is global stable link.
3) put your phone in fastboot mode, unzip the downloaded rom. (avoid spaces in between folder path/name eg "C:\New Folder\Extracted rom\...." is not allowed instead it should be like C:\New_Folder\Extracted_rom\.......)
4) open mi flashing tool see if your device is listed. refresh to see. select clean all (flash_all.bat) option from bottom of mi flashing tool.
5) click on flash, and let it boot.
you would be able to use VoLTE now in miui rom. if you want to change to any N based roms just flash twrp and clean install any rom.
Flashing the MIUI 7.5.2 global ROM should work. Wipe everything and do a clean install. Once you see an indication of VOLTE on the MIUI then you should be able to get the same in other ROMS. I just did it recently.
Flash the redmi 2 prime rom using any of the methods fast boot or normal. If VoLte is what u r looking for

I think i can help you dude. Flash this fastboot rom you have. Boot it with YOUR Jio sim in the first sim slot inside. Setup everything normally in the phone. After it booted, you WILL see the Volte symbol in the statusbar.
Now root it and install TWRP. Now install a Volte rom of your choice. It has to work.
I will say you why this has to work. I own this device. The 8GB variant. My friend owns the same device. While my device had Volte working, his' didn't work. I checked it. He had kitkat bootloader. Then i flashed the lollipop stock rom in his device in fastboot mode. i directly rooted the device and installed cm14.1 in his device. Still no Volte. I wondered what the fcuk was just happening. My friend was like i'll cope up with this dude. I'll use jio 4g voice. But couldn't leave it like that. I tried it the second time just like i have told you and then VOLTE STARTED ****ING WORKING MAN !!! I was on cloudnine !!! Just helping you out !!
I think the reason Volte was not working is because the jio sim needed the stock rom to trigger it to start Volte sevices. Before it, the jio must have thought "yeah, this is a non volte device ". Just saying !!
Have a nice day !!!

I think their is no(simple) way to know that. But you can try a app named "phone info". But it didn't work out for me.It is showing unknown bootloader.
The best way to know your bootloader version is " try to remember which miui ROM u flashed last".
Or there is lolypop firmware in lineage is thread for u.

Simple. Press vol down and power. will boot into fastboot mode.
If the letters saying FASTBOOT are in green color and small, it is in KitKat bootloader. If the letters saying FASTBOOT are in Blue color and little big, it is Lollipop. I know it sounds a little lame, but trust me, this is a reliable method. If you flashed the lollipop rom via the mi Flash application through system, and youve got the blue colored bootloader, then you are on lollipop bootloader

Sim Signal problem lineage 15.1 unofficial

I have note 3 sm-n9005 htle running os lineage 15.1 that made by @haggertk
I have been using lineage 14.1 unofficial made by trader418 and haggertk for months everything was working fine i didn't have any problem then week ago i saw lineage 15.1 so i clean flashed my phone to lineage 15.1 at first everything was working fine then after a few minutes i restarted my phone and then my phone stopped receiving signal
I restarted a few more time times and suddenly signals came back
But then a few hours later same thing happened again
Now every time i restart my phone or battery dies i have to restart my phone serval time till signal comes back
Today i realized every time my phone stops receiving signal phone app (dialler app) crashes when i dial *#06# and auto network registration automatically turns off when i turn it back on it says can't connect to thins network now please try again later. Or when i try to choose my network manually it says error while searching for networks
After a few restarts everything just works fine everything goes back to normal
I've already changed CP and BL serval times to serval different (CP and BL)s it didn't work
Anyone else has this issue?
Or please anyone knows how to fix it?
I'd the same problem with you before. I tried to flash new modem and bootloader (in LOS) but it didn't change. So, this what I did (it quite long but I hit jackpot after that)
1. Download Phronesis Rom (it is custom stock rom, maybe can use another custom stock rom) and put in the internal storage
2. flash TWRP2.8.70
3. you can see instruction on how to flash Phronesis
4. Reboot system
5. Enable Developer option (if it is disable)
6. Flash Bootloader (BL) and Modem (CP)
7. check it back using phone info app (for me, it did work)
8. reboot recovery, flash TWRP 3.2.1.1 again
9. Full wipe
10. Flash LOS and gapps
11. reboot system
hope this will help

Why you need phronesis? Only for enabling developer options? Maybe you forgot the critical step of removing battery before entering to download mode to flash BL and CP in ODIN? Because you seem to use a custom ROM only for enabling developer options and checking phone info samsung app (both of which can be done in stock firmware or even LOS itself).
Because I need to flash the modem. I tried flash the modem using ODIN in LOS and RR (both with developer option) but unfortunately failed. That's why I going back to Phronesis, just to flash the modem

I have seen many users flash modem on LOS and RR using ODIN when steps are done correctly. The part confusing me on noth of your posts is you didnt try to check your modem after flashing in LOS (using settings/about or phone info samsung app)? Because if it shows it updated, then it is updated. If not, then you have missed a step. That simple. It cannot be that "it shows modem is updated but somehow it isnt".
I dont think any external step of flashing another custom ROM is necessary. Flashing modem step-by-step procedure is available in many posts of @svbarbosa and @Hereiwas.
I did check the modem after flashing every single time, I flashed with different modem and bootloader, unfortunately the result is same. After failed so many times, than I tried flash Phronesis as my last resort. And I really don't know and understand why my device like that (I follow exactly the procedure as given)

I'd the same problem with you before. I tried to flash new modem and bootloader (in LOS) but it didn't change. So, this what I did (it quite long but I hit jackpot after that)
1. Download Phronesis Rom (it is custom stock rom, maybe can use another custom stock rom) and put in the internal storage
2. flash TWRP2.8.70
3. you can see instruction on how to flash Phronesis
4. Reboot system
5. Enable Developer option (if it is disable)
6. Flash Bootloader (BL) and Modem (CP)
7. check it back using phone info app (for me, it did work)
8. reboot recovery, flash TWRP 3.2.1.1 again
9. Full wipe
10. Flash LOS and gapps
11. reboot system
hope this will help

Thanks man it worked for me to
Some how lineage 15.1 makes the baseband not work properly and makes unchangeable I tried to change it before it always gave me pass in Odin but never really changed the baseband and I didn't realize that till I tried your method
Now my phone works perfectly

I never check it before but when I red your comment I tried changing baseband and bootloader and then I realized it always gives pass on Odin but it never did really change baseband or bootloader i think the problem is with the lineage 15.1 that makes baseband untouchable

I have flash LineageOS 15.1, i also have problem with signal and gsm, after that i flash CP and BL,it was the same.
i go back on stock Rom,download samsung Firmware and flash phone. now if I install Phronesis do i need again to flash CP and BL?
If you are already on stock rom, no need to flash phronesis.
Ok. But I want to install LineageOS, how to fix problem with Gsm network?
Updating BL and CL did not solve the problem. What should I do?
---------- Post added at 02:18 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:08 AM ----------
One more question: when I go back to stock rom i don't have root anymore but I have installed Twrp recovery. This phonesis rom is nice. I would like to flash my phone with this rom. Do I need root and does gsm network working without installing BL and CL?
I will install this rom from my phone without root from TWRP 3.1.1. Can I do that?
I have the same damn problem!! LineageOS is sooo buggy with SIM mobile signal connection... it just kills it!!! How the hell can I fix this? Where can I get the modem files for Samsung 900V?
Please read thread and see your identical post .
Suggest you stick with stock rom or try your models forum.

Help getting TWRP

I think we need a concise guide to how to get TWRP up and running on the K88 Trek 2 HD because I'm stuck and I don't want to flash the wrong thing and brick it
1 - Downloaded jasminetool, jasmine-twrp-7.1-r3.img, and zadig-2.4.exe
2 - Enabled USB debugging on K88
3 - Rebooted to EDL mode via adb reboot edl
4 - Used zadig-2.4.exe to install WinUSB driver
5 - Used jasminetool read recovery stockrecovery.img and got success - img file is 49,152kb
6 - Used jasminetool write recovery jasmine-twrp-7.1-r3.img (24,576kb?) and got success
7 - System reboots and restores stock recovery
I tried preventing the automatic reboot and when I try to go to recovery with volume+ and pwr it just flips up the logo and reboots like there's a problem, I presume the system is restoring the stock recovery because of this. System is Android 6.0.1 kernel 3.10.84
What should I do?
Also, my goal is to get a normal dialer for cell phone calling on the tablet and I'm just assuming that AOKP does since no one answered when I asked in the rom thread so if someone could also answer that question for me before I go to all this effort for no real reason that would be great
Currently operating under the assumption I need to manually update to official 7.1 (jasmine-7.1.1b15-full.zip) via the stock recovery then repeat the above steps since I now notice that version matches the twrp version

Thanks, yeah I did get TWRP running just fine once I upgraded to a 7.1 stock rom. Now I guess I'll just be awaiting a rom that actually can dial on the cellular network. Seems like a great device now that it has recovery hopefully we'll see a lot more development on it as people get to be aware of it.

Phone is not flash fully, and their didn't support any sim

I tried many time to flash my mi A1 phone. In flashing, phone gonna automatically switched off and then open. But no sim being support here. I mean, the phone can not take flash fully. As opposite, Custom rom installed perfectly, but their have also same network issue. Anyone can help me to solve the problem?

Maybe you need to flash the rom in edl mode with miflash.
May be you must restore efs with twpr recovery!
And then install the stock.... If you haven't to install it with mi flash..... Install it with twpr flashable zips......
And then every thing will work perfectly
It was the same problem to me and i solved it

Hi,
I too lost all the signals when i upgraded to pie.
I have also downgraded and followed all the Steps shown in the link, but still i had no signal.
I even upgraded to pie again hoping that i will get signal, but still i had no signal. Can you please explain me the steps in detail so that i get my signal back.
Note: I tried my sims in other mia1 on pie and they are working. I also tried other working sims on my mia1, but no signal.
Kindly help at the earliest. I am without a phone for the last one week.
My understanding is as follows: ( I am on STOCK PIE with NO SIGNAL)
Follow Steps 1 to 7 as it is in the link.
Step 8. Go to RESTORE, choose BACKUP , restore EFS and swipe. (No need to restore BOOT.img)
ADDITION: Step 8a. Go back and Install TWRP Flashable zip of Oreo 8.1 November Update (V9.6.8.0.ODHMIFE)
Step 9. Now in TWRP, go to REBOOT and Click SYSTEM. (No need to click BOOTLOADER here)
I will have November Update 8.1 installed on my phone.
Now, which ROM should i flash through MIFLASH after all this (November 8.1 once again or Pie January update) to restore mobile signal?
Please reply.
