[Q] Sensors (accelerometer, gryoscope etc) stop working intermittently

Hi,
I have searched for similar threads, but none of them have a solution, so I thought I would post this. So recently I noticed that my gyroscope wasn't working (I have a live wallpaper that makes use of it). I dug a bit deeper, and found that none of my sensors were working, like step counter, accelerometer, compass and so on. The weird thing is, sometimes they work again when I reboot, sometimes I need to clear the cache. This temporarily fixes it, but within 5 or 10 minutes they stop again. So I reflashed the stock firmware, which fixed it until the next morning, when it broke again.
I had a look at CatLog, and this shows up:
11-28 17:14:37.701 E/SensorService(991): Error activating sensor 0 (Operation not permitted)
11-28 17:32:22.048 E/Sensors (991): Gyro old sensor_state 512, new sensor_state : 514 en : 1
11-28 17:32:22.048 I/Sensors (991): GyroSensor write failed. ret = -1, sensor_state = 514
with different lines for different sensors. This leads me to believe it is not a hardware issue. Am I wrong?
I would send it back to Samsung, even though my Knox is 0x1, because I don't have much to lose, but I don't have a replacement phone at the moment. As soon as I have another phone I can use in the meantime, I'll send it back, but I'm just wondering if anyone has anything else I can try? I'm open to all suggestions

[Q] Problem with camera app

I have a serious problem with my camera app. when i click on camera, it says 'can't connect to camera'. Many a time it says 'unfortunately camera has stopped working'. I try resetting but same. Camera works after reboot but only for 1 or 2 times after reboot. later problem remains same. Any solution? :crying:

If you have installed any other 3rd party camera apps then uninstall them. Secondly, goto appinfo of default camera and give clear data. Now try out.

I tried the same, but not working. Any other suggestions please.

Even after manual update, Camera is not working in YU YUREKA.
Even Camera icon is also lost.
I tried third party apps also showing same error like "Can't connect to the camera."\
Please help me regarding this issue.

May be you dropped the handset... Hence loose connection to hardware...

Exactly the problem is loose connection of camera only, which gets dislodged upon a drop, even slight tapping with hand while switched off also might help u get back

To get better pictures I have installed Camera next 2 and cameranextmod2. That worked fine for two days after that they are behaving like default camera app. Please help me to get out from this problem. Thank you.

[MOTO G4/PLUS] Inconvenience with video camera in custom roms

Hi, maybe this sounds a bit noob but when I always install some ROM based on Android nougat 7.1.2 Nougat, I have problems with the video camera, nothing serious ... Only when it starts to record about 1 minute loses synchronization, low FPS but only lasts for 15 seconds
Hon Is there any solution to this problem? I always end up returning to the Stock ROM,
- I used the Motorola camera, I do not like the AOSP camera

Moto camera doesn't work well on custom ROMs. Not all the features, that is. Unless somebody takes the time to figure out what exactly the reason is for that, you'll have to use another camera app (like Snap or HTC camera) to take videos.
There are a few threads on the Moto Camera apk from other devices having being modified to work with this device, and you can try that if you happen to be very keen on Moto Camera.

Proprietary Libs Used By Motorola is The Main Reason Of Moto Camera Not being fully supported on Custom ROMs If Someone can get there hands on them Moto Camera can be Made Perfect

All the other camera apps lose the focus capabilities of the G4 Plus sensor - the laser focus and phase detect auto-focus (PDAF). They will use only the slower contrast-detection method.

I am also on stock rom, always come to it as no other rom helps.

Hello everyone, I am having a strange camera issue on all custom roms.
I have clean flashed, even flashed stock nougat using fastboot before flashing roms just to make sure....,then format system,data, internal.
Tried to make a video using any camera app and video started lagging too much after few seconds. Phone also get very heat up.
Don't know what it is as any rom I flashed till now have the same issue except stock rom.
It worked great in the few last builds of CM before it changed to Lineage then I followed it for few more builds. Then I switched to RR for its few builds thinking of getting fix of issue. But no luck. Then I tried all other available roms for the device. But same result.
After that I stayed at stock till now.Now i am on InvictaOs (having the same issue too).
One more thing , Footej is able to work with the roms but is very very slow while switching options(like switching front camera, video mode, open camera settings,etc).
Cameringo works without auto focus while making video.(auto focus works in photos mode and also works even before pressing video shutter, but not while making video).
Moto camera and snap camera just makes the phone hell to use, too much lag, too much hot.
I also posted the same issue few days back on InvictaOs thread but no one else was having the issue so no help received.

Have to tried deleting Motorola.*** Jar files

Please help. Poco m3 camera error, some apps keep stopping.

I'm facing a camera error on poco m3 whenever I try to open the camera app. The error says "Can't connect to camera." I also keep getting alerts that Android System Webview, Chrome has stopped. Videos are not showing in youtube. I want to restart my device to see if it fixes the problem but I'm afraid that I'll brick my phone if I do, seeing as it is a common issue for this phone. Any advice on what to do?
Any advice would be helpful.
