current bin: custom
system status: official
I hope someone has experienced this failure and that help is out there somewhere as I would hate to dump the phone.
Please Help
Trevor

The best thing you can do is to grab the OFFICIAL firmware for your device and flash it with Odin. If you need help doing this I can explain if need be. What most likely happened is you use a root method that only worked for the previous version of the phone.

Smg360h
Have just downloaded firmware and the phone is working fine. Thank you

If you want to try rooting again this thread looks of use. http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...ead-samsung-galaxy-core-prime-t3354916/page11 Also there is a cyanogenmod developed for your device. Cyanogenmod comes with root but you have to enable it in developer options.

Thanks. Will do this.

[Q] Failed Root?

Hello everyone, before I continue I will give my phone details below:
Model Number: GT-I9505
Andriod version: 4.4.2
Baseband version: I9505XXUFNC5
So my problem is that I followed a guide to rooting my Galaxy S4, after which Odin confirmed to me that my phone had passed the rooting setup, all very good. The problem occurs when checking to see if my phone had successfully being rooted, I downloaded Root Checker Basic which informed me that my phone actually isn't rooted.
So as anyone would do they start the rooting process again, to which the same outcome repeated.
I can not post the link to the guide I used, the website I followed was ibtimes. The guide I followed is named 'Root galaxy s4 (LTE) I9505 on Official Andriod 4.2.2 Kitkat Firmware.
The link above is the guide I used.
So my question is, has anyone else come across this in the past? I did a brief search in the forums prier to posting this but came to no avail.
Thank you for any and all help with regards to my problem!
1. Try to root ur phone 2 times with same method u used.
2. Always KNOX app will block SuperSU app. You will have to freeze or delete KNOX app.
As requested I deleted the KNOX app and tried a Root, it has again come up with the same results, quoting from the SuperSU app 'There is no SU binary installed, and SuperSU cannot install it. This is a problem!'
I can not think as to what I am doing wrong.
Update:
I have factory reset my phone, and tried the root again to which the results are the same, Odin doesn't go yellow, it goes blue but some people say this can be due to different versions.
I have got usb debugging enabled, the battery is charged. This is really frustrating as I was wanting to get put a ROM on my phone today haha.
If anyone has any further advice that will be much appreciated!
Have you tried flashing CWM Recovery to your phone? When exiting CWM if you're not rooted, it'll tell you and ask if you want to root. Select Yes then go back into Android and check your SuperSU.
Otherwise, you could always try use Odin to flash one of Djembys pre-rooted stock roms?
If you're just wanting to flash a custom rom, then you could just download a custom rom, put it on your phone internal storage (or external SD), flash a custom recovery and then flash the rom? That's worked for me in the past.
Try to root again with odin and if your recovery say anything like ''fix root'' always say no

GALAXY Note 3 SM-N900.. Help..

I am a new member and I don't know where to post this on the forum and I am unable to send this via the contact link at XDA... I apologize. Kindly guide...
Hi..
Subject: Installing the custom recovery and latest cyanogenmod on my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900.
A few details :
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900 running on stock rom Android version 4.4.2 and the build Number is N900XXUDND1. It is an Indian version.
I rooted my phone via Odin cfautoroot successfully but was not unable to load custom recovery cwm since the phone would go blank and stuck in boot loop.
I had to reinstall the stock firmware 4.4.2 via odin but could not install custom recovery via Odin and again stuck in boot loop . I reinstalled firmware 4.4.2 and tried installing custom recovery via flashify me app but again the phone went blank although I could go to download mode but stuck in boot loop.
I again reinstalled firmware 4.4.2 via odin but later I could not even root my phone via Odin!!..so I rooted my phone via king root app successfully and then changed it to supersu me root successfully without a problem.
Now the problem is I want to load custom recovery in order to load Cyanogenmod.
I tried installing cwm recovery via the clockworkmod app but it does not recognize my device officially.
I tried installing custom recovery via twrp app but getting error there also.
Now this is the info I see when I am in download mode:
ODIN MODE.
PRODUCT NAME: SM-N900.
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official.
SYSTEM STATUS: Custom.
KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 1
RP SWREV: A4
Is the bootloader locked in my device? Is this the reason I am unable to load custom recovery? I don't even know how to check the present status lock/unlock status of bootloader
I want to load custom recovery(cwm or twrp) and load the latest cyanogenmod at the earliest and I would appreciate if I can get step by step details of doing so.
Is it possible to do this without using a computer?...
Thanking you...
You do not need to root the phone before installing a custom ROM. You can install a custom recovery using Odin.
Some good info here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/general/guide-root-note-3-sm-n900-5-0-install-t3069670

.... Hi.. Thank for replying so soon...
I checked the link you provided but it is all about rooting only.. As mentioned earlier, I rooted my phone and confirmed the same via root checker app. Now I just want to install cwm/twrp recovery and then go ahead and install cyanogenmod...

broken I9505 after downgrand from 6.0, looking for 3 files repair rom

Dear Friends,
I would kindly ask for help on my I9505. I got it with android 5.0 or 5.1 if I remember. After a while i flash it with crdroid 6.0. Almost everything was working fine, except bluetooth. I decided to back to oryginal rom, because there wasn't any problems. I flashed stock 5.0 for Poland, did the factory restart because got a botloop and finally it started.
but - there is no IMEI right now. When i type *#06# there is "none" and i can't reach any network. I tried to install some 4.4.2 but failed in odin at the start and it's botloop again.
I read a lot of here on xda but can't find right solution for me, also can't find 3 files room to install modem there. Please let me know what i can do. Thank You
Where did you get the stock ROM? You confirmed the model # in download mode is gt-i9505?

The firmware can be flashed using Odin when the phone is showing the "firmware enountered an error" screen.
Download the latest stock ROM from sammobile.com and flash it on Odin.

Rooting failed after restart and goes to "Recovery is not Seandroid Enforcing"

Rooting failed after restart and goes to "Recovery is not Seandroid Enforcing"
Hi,
I need help for rooting my Galaxy Note 10.1 P605 edition. I have tried multiple root package and it is the same thing all the time and really frustrating I have searched for 3 weeks but it sounds I decided to root my device too late because all post are too old and did not resolve my problem or their files are not available to download.
My device is SM-P605,
build: JSS15J. P605XXUBMJA
Android: 4.3 and
SELinux status: Enforcing SEPF_SM-P605_4_3_0002
I have tried different version of Odin and all 4 roots package for P605 from CF-Root download page and non worked. In Odin I see it transfer (pretty quicker that videos I watched) , then it reboot and go to Recovery is not Seandriod Enforcing and stuck there.
I see some links about in xda but either they are regarding different devices or different actions not rooting. Also some post offer using specific files but the link of download was not working. It would be so appreciated if anybody could help or at least provide me right files.
by the way, I also don't understand which version of TWRP I should install after resolving this rooting issue as well. latest version?
Thanks in advance.
@jpourian
Still interested?
Just to lazy to write if not needed.
@bmwdroid I actually kind of feed up.
I finally updated it with flash that I found for Andriod 5.1.1 which was also kind of fun because I had to open it and remove it's hidden.img to make it hapoen.
Long story short, I couldn't actually root it because the CA root here the recovery is not fit my device and gave me this error.
I give my self a pose and I am planning to check if kingroot can be useful instead of going with Odin.
Do you have any suggestions?

Did you flash with Odin 3.0.9 (recommended for KK and LL)?
Updating to the newer bootloader was anyhow what I'd have suggested.
(never heard of the problem with "hidden.img")
Anyway there are 4 different CA files for P605.
Which one did you try it with?
As far as I can remember I didn't use it at all, just flashed newest TWRP, booted into it and flashed the already downloaded ROM, Gapps and Magisk.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Active sm-g870a Help

Hello!
I apologize if this isn't the right place to ask, but I haven't found a section for a Samsung Galaxy S5 Active!
I am a complete newbie and haven't flashed to my phone since I had a Samsung Galaxy S3 back in 2018. In this case, I'm trying to find a root and install twrp recovery, so I can install lineageOS on my phone. The stock rom is so laggy!
My phone's recovery won't let me just install lineageOS, so I have to install a custom recovery.
So far, all the one-click roots haven't worked. Towelroot, kingsroot, oneclickroot, all failed.
The official twrp recovery didn't work either and did not give me a compatible rom.
I tried to locate an unofficial twrp recovery compatible with my device, and I think I found one. The issue is that it odin does not flash a .img file.
I'm going to try this method of downgrading the stock rom.
EDIT: Doing this gives me a SW REV CHECK FAIL: [aboot] Fused 2 > Binary 1
Trying this now: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/guide-g870a-downgrade-s5-active-mm6-0-lp5-0.3523683/
EDIT: unsuccessful. Soft brick of OS; need to flash again or try something else...I tried to leave the phone out all night, but it never got past boot screen.
EDIT2: tired again and somewhat successful. Samsung boot screen is different and so is the boot recovery! The darn phone still won't boot though!!
EDIT3: Had to reboot the phone 3 times and got the android is upgrading screen...YAY!! But, the system process.media fails randomly.
Any tips? If I could just get twrp on, that would fix everything! Thank you!!
Found a supposedly compatible twrp here: https://dl.twrp.me/klte/twrp-3.5.2_9-0-klte.img.tar.html
Issue is odin fails when flashing...I am getting the auth error!!
One of the few usable recoveries: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...estrap-recovery-v3-75-2014-06-26-b03.2794087/
Hi, I am also looking to put LineageOS on my device as well.
The most I have found so far is the S5 Active (SM-G870A) has an OEM locked bootloader, and without unlocking it a custom recovery is not available.
AT&T, nor Samsung have provided any way to unlock the bootloader as far as I know, and I'm not sure if any developers are still working to crack it.
