im new to flashing and moding my phone and i have a problem regarding my i9505 wifi..i got this OTA update 4.4.2 and installed it after installing/rebooting my wifi doesnt seem to go on (it has grayish green color) i tried to flash NG8 firmware downloaded from samsung website and still wifi issue is stiil there...i read all the related thread regarding with this problem but i am so confused
is there any steps/guide that i can understand bcoz i dont really have much knowledge about my phone\
hope there is someone out there to help me because i have this problem for almost a month now:crying:

Hi pal you need to flash the Wi-Fi fix with odin but remember to follow the instructions to a T

Remember to download and flash the correct corresponding modem in regards to your firmware

I installed Leaked Chinese version of Lollipop in Samsung Galaxy S4 GT i9500. That stupid o.s doesnt have any of the Google app not even playstore. I tried reverting back to Kitkat! but i got failed error messages.
Please someone guide me! is there a way to revert back to Kitkat.

If you want google apps just flash the android lollipop gapps and voilá

Hi friends i flashed the CHN version lollipop after flashed that thing i can't go back to kitkat.but finally i flashed the 'philztouch recovery' via odin and rerooted and flashed the 5.0.1 gapps its done.but how can i go back to kitkat pls tell me any one?
There doesn't seem to be any fix for this. Some users posted that they managed to change to another rom, but they lost the IMEI and baseband. And they don't seem to be able to restore any of them. Even with a backup.
Probably not possible because you also can't downgrade from 4.4.2 to 4.3, so it makes sense that you can't downgrade.

before install any one cyanogenmod fom sdcard and nest install kitkat with odin )))

Hello friend, you can describe how you managed to install the google apps? can pass me the links where I can download them ??? I just need to install the Google Apps as well have the features I need (calendar and contacts integrated google the phone). Thank you for your help.

i had the same prb with my s4 i9500 black edition. what i did is that i installed the official releas of android 5.0.1 (that you can find it in XDA forum) with odin than i downgrad it to 4.4.2 and the phone works.
I hope that it will work for you too
Is there a guide available to downgrade the 19505 from Lollipop ( at the moment i am using Official Cyanogenmod 12 5.0.2) to Kitkat ? I miss the features of the Xposed Modules very badly. In my opinion it is a disadvantage to upgrade your phone to Lollipop .

hi. i got this N910F. its good and works fine. only issue is it sometimes starts acting weird like Error 491 from google playstore and sometimes wifi starts downloading very very slow. im 100% sure its software issue. i just got this device today. i was advised by one member here to change the stock rom. i dont want to go for lollipop.
first i want to see how it performs on Kitkat. im attaching a screenshot of the firmwares.
although, its an international model, can someone help me and tell that can i install ANY 910F stock firmware on it? also i see the device is already rooted. it does not have any logo on it or any bloatware in it other than only 2 O2 Germany apps.
can i install only German O2 VIA CSC stock roms or any rom for N910F? i will be grateful for your help im noon in this regard.

i was the last few days here in this Forum and tried to educate myselfe about flashing and Roms and all that stuff. But to be honest it seems that this problem is beyond everything i can handle. I really hope you guys can help me.
My plan was that i flash a clean (bloatweare free) ROM on my new (secondhand) Note 4. At first i tried the unofficial CM 13 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/snapdragon-dev/unofficial-cm13-0-910f-g-t3243386) mod. Everything was fine until i recognized that i dont have wifi. All i got was a weird WLAN-MAC (02.00.00.00.00.00). I just coudlnt enable my WIFI.
(ROM-Flashing with odin (3.09) and TWRP Indian Version (twrp-3.0.2-0-trltedt.img.tar)
I just thought its maybe the ROM which just doesnt fit to my mobile, so i tried the official nightly version from the CM Site Version 12.1 (https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=trltexx) But no success with that one either. The same problem. At that point i was pretty clueless about whats happening here and i started to panic a little. I was searching a few days about the WIFI Problem but coudltn find any solution. There was a Nexus-thread with the same problem but they didnt find a solution either.
At this point i was pretty sure that i messed up my mobile but i didnt give up.
I found the Nameless Rom (5.1.1.) here in this Forum and i tried it. The flashing was without any problems... and i was really happy that the first setup asked my about my wifi...until i recognized that this time the problem was that my Note4 couldnt find my SIM. Its really crazy
I tried everything. I tried to flash it again with different bootloaders and modems (from the ROM-Thread) and then i recognized that this time my SIM works but my WIFI wasnt there anymore. I dont know what to do anymore.

This is a really weird issue. I have never heard of this before. Try flashing the stock ROM with ODIN.

I have downloaded SamFirm and tried to download the correct firmware for my mobile. But unfortunatly thats not so easy as i thought.
MY modelnumber is SM-N910G. Since my mobile is manufactured in Thailand i assume that the software needs the region code from this country but i cant find the right one. Is Thailand even the right one?
Based on the pictures attached in the orignal post can you maybe help me to find out which code is the correct one?!

I have been rooting my note 4 since it came out and familiar with any problems that may occur with kernels and stuff...
I decided to sell my phone and put it towards an S8 when i t comes out, i am sending my phone to Mazuma Mobile but wanted to unroot it first but the stock firmwares i am flashing though Odin are stuck on the Samsung start up screen.
I am not sure about unrooting and need some help, the latest firmware i have tried is "BTU-N910FXXU1BOC5-20150423120804" - i have the N910F model but it wont load beyond the Samsung bootup screen.
Anybody give me some help please and maybe point me to the correct firmware that i should be using?
