Wow! I could get used to this!
That is meaningless without posting your screen on time and usage. I can get 4 days on my phone if I only use it as a phone with a few calls.
i tend to agree with cm7's battery life is fantastic

4 days? ok...don't believe that.
I'm just using my phone as I always do, steam some music, make some calls, text a bit.. etc.
I was kidding about it recharging itself......but that's what the battery level indicator says it does.
If I could find my 60 dollar extended battery........I bet this thing would last forever.

Yup. Posted a thread about it a few months ago. It was over a 3 day weekend and on wifi. There were screen shots in that thread too. That is why without screen on times the percentages are meaningless. I only made a couple of short calls. And this was on leaked GB.
---------- Post added at 08:25 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:18 PM ----------
The thread I posted actually had more usage and I was at 37 hours with 17% left when I plugged it in. I didn't post the 4 day test when I didn't really use the phone at all.

30% of total time.....?? isn't that how you could figure it out. Anyway, total screen on time was 1.45 hours. I have it set to go off at 10 seconds of no use.
Meh. The only thing that matters is the screen on time, show me with 3+ hours then they will count.

No that is 30% of total usage not of total time. They all add up to 100%. As said 1.45 hours is typical with 50% left. But maybe that is a lot better for you than your previous ROM.

Why is it that when I use an app for 3 minutes, I lose ten percent and you guys are getting such great battery life? o-o
I've calibrated, put on lowest brightness, not syncing anything, turned off notifications in tons of apps, no gps, no bluetooth, etc. and battery life is just awful

Reason for this is un-calibration. If you use something that's battery hogging and once your done using that app it eventually goes up some, kind of a like a battery's temp. once you get it hot because of whatever activity the phone is processing, once you cool off and stop doing that it goes down in temp.

I found major drain when I froze DRM and Google Talk and had AdFree installed. Defrosted them both and removed AdFree. I've had great battery life again ever since...without calibration nonsense.
I think the system expects these apps and keeps trying to use them. Kind of like the Task Killer Circle of Death. I don't know why AdFree was a problem.

I maxxed out at ~74hours of standby time before, on 3g the whole time & stock battery (from Sept 2010). This was on my current setup.
Legendary v4.0.1 & provided Samurai kernel.
However, my phone hasn't hit that mark again. Mostly b/c of data hungry apps.

I was in front of a computer working for many of those hours. When I wasn't working, I was sleeping.
I think I only had 3 texts and 1 voicemail the whole time (rare). When I hit 36hours I decided to just ride it out and see how long it can go.
The screen on time was like ~25mins and TWS was ~ 3%. The phone basically sat on a desk/nightstand the entire time since I was in front of a computer most of the time. Not the best example normal usage vs battery life, but it hit the 74hour mark.

Agreed. Mine is draining faster today than yesterday.
I got an update today for my AT&T version also. G935AUCS2APC2 is the latest. Android version didn't change, still 6.01
seems like they changed the security settings, now everytime I lock the screen with nova double tap, I need to use the pin my fingerprints wont open it.
I'm still on the old update apparently for AT&T. Even shows me this message when checking for updates.

No unfortunately not. But after a factory reset it never came back in such a huge way, before the factory reset it suddenly appeared on top in the usage list with 45% usage, dropping my phone's battery from 90% to 40% in less than 1 hour.
My settings aren't really special, I only use sync when my phone is charging (regular charging, I don't ever use fast charging), I don't use AOD, Location or NFC, and I have disabled pretty much everything that can be disabled through the phone itself, without using a package disabler. Also, my screen resolution is on 720P.
I love the batterylife on my s7 edge with 7.0 btu. It's way better then mm

Mine still get the same as it did out of the box. I'm on OB10 with great battery life. I average 45-50 hours if I'm not on it all day I usually get 4-6 hour SOT and still have 15% or so at the end of the second day. But if I'm on it heavy all day I still get 4-5 hours SOT and not have to plug it in until I go to bed usually.
Pics are about 3 days old but for example..

To explain it better, your SOT says 6 hours from last full charge, and on your third picture it shows a charge from around 25% to 75% then you've discharged again to 7%. So the SOT was from the full charge and then and 50% charge in between. So that 6 hours of SOT was from about 118% of battery usage.
So yeah, that's good screen time.

Cool thanks for the info. I'm new to this A/B thing so I need to read up on it a little more and about doing the backups correctly because I've seen that is different also. But soon as I get time to sit down and play I'll be jumping into it!
When you do a backup it's just the current slot it backs up. As long as you've not got multiple users you'll be fine.

Plus I used fluid to download 1.6gb then x-cast to watch a film on my TV, which is quite a high usage app.
I've had the McLaren since December 2018 running stock. I've not noticed any decline in battery life since the phone was brand new. However, I do not rapid charge my phones in an effort to extend their battery life. The exception was when my Moto X was dying last year.
Typically at the end of the day, the McLaren has about 80% charge.

My phone is a work "tool". At the end of the day, unless someone calls, I rarely touch it after work. I can charge it on Friday night, and save for some streaming in the car on the weekend, maybe a phone call or two, by Sunday, it still has 20-30% left. During the day, I use it A LOT, for calls, text, web. Around 1500 minutes on the phone per month, but rarely do I exceed 70% usage.
I noticed on eBay batteries for the Note 4 list compatible models for each battery. Are batteries for all Note 4 variants interchangeable? Or do I need to get one for my specific model? My phone is the SM-N910V model.

Lol I wouldn't be able to trash a phone, it will come back and haunt me. I know you have an LG now but how was the battery and what customisations did you do to improve battery life?
I got a ravpower battery few days ago but need some help with tweaking kernel settings etc to improve battery life as it is not that good.
Tried these optimisers like FDE and LKT but no luck, haven't tested LKT properly though as an update for FDE came out that should've fixed the CPU/GPU turbo boost thing.
Also, I don't care about gaming like PUBG (although I like it  )

Of course that wasn't a true story. Hah. I would never toss my "baby".
I haven't played with it much since but I ended up getting the Ravpower for it. It was cheap and arrived promptly. I used Kernel Audiutor for it and it's set to whatever the default is.
I can say I have gotten at least 90 more mins of SOT and more than a week of standby. Maybe even more. I'll power it up sometime soon and check Battery Bot.

Wow I actually believed it, was gonna ask if you tossed it at the bottom of a pretty much empty bin or... but it's getting emptied so must be full unless you did it earlier haha. Because I was wondering about the damage that may have occurred if this actually happened (from throwing it in the bin and then truck). How the hell would you find your phone just laying on top of all the trash in the garbage truck?!?! Now it makes sense that that's not true. I am really dumb:cyclops:
OK now I got that out of my head are you saying that kernel auditor automatically configures some things without you adjusting anything in the app? Because I didn't know that. Also what you mean by Battery Bot?
I don't think it does that unless you picked a standard configured profile that kernel auditor gives you based on device or something (not someone else's log configuration file or whatever you call it)
But like I said I don't know my kernel stuff... take your time I'm in no rush after all all of this is free and out of kindness which is something I really appreciate from XDA (or even the internet in general (duh))

I joke around often. Battery Bot is a great battery tool. I put the widget for it on my home screen and check it now and again to see how much approximate SOT I have left, how long it's been on standby, etc.
