Hello
I recently received a galaxy S4 GT i9505 as a gift but it's region locked (european sim model) from spain and i live in algeria i tried region lock away but it didn't work (of course after i rooted my phone)
plz someone help me
There's nothing that you can do.
After Spain driving there to buy a prepaid card just register and then the region lock is gone.
Hi guys.
I have my Galaxy S3 Neo bought in Poland (without simlock). I'm off to Korea in a few days and trying to figure out how is this gonna work.
So - I'm in Poland yet, but I have a Korean sim card already - when I put this in, phone is turning on fine, language is switched to Korean, but there is no signal.
1. Is there and block I need to take down to properly use Korean sim?
2. Is this possible that I don't have a connection, because I'm in Europe now, not in Korea?
Cheers
Hi, I bought China version Galaxy A5 (2016), and successfully loaded Hong Kong version OS in order to use Google apps.
Currently, there have been new Marshmellow OS for Galaxy A5 (2016) version, except for SM-A5100.
Is there any other countries that using Snapdragon instead of Exynos except for China and Hong Kong that has Marshmellow OS?
Thanks

hello i recently bought an s7 edge
the seller told me it was a singapore set. The model in the box and phone setting is G935FD but in front of the box there is Samsung Gulf Warranty Seal on the left corner and in the back there is some arab words. In Setting > About phone there is United Arab Emirates column too with TRA ID & TA.
Also my s7 edge has Duos written on the back on while my friends not (they have the same model too G935FD but indonesian Set).
so my question is:
- is my G935FD is real singapore / southeast asian set?
- why do i have Duos written on the back in my G935FD?
thanks.
this is same as the international G935F.... only difference is ability to use 2 sim cards instead of only 1 sim on normal s7 edge.... other than this they are identical!!!!
normal s7 edge 1 sim + memory sd card
duos s7 edge you can use either 2sim at the same time or 1sim + memory sd card

anyway thanks for your answer
I genuinely don't know where exactly mine came from but bought it as soon as it came out, I do believe however that it comes from the United Arab Emirates because the box comes with some arab as well, also it was made in Vietnam but the only logo on the back is the Samsung one, there's only a Duos logo on the box.
Hello. Im currently working in Saudi Arabia and can confirm that all the dual sim versions out here are called "Duos" so I would hazard a guess you certainly have a middle eastern region phone.
I bought my S7 Edge in Singapore. It's a Duo. It does NOT have Duo written on the back.
guys the hell is the issue with having DUOS on back or not!?!
if you like it then ok
if you don't like it put cover on it

I have mine. Bought in UAE. Duos written over it but its a genuine perfect phone. Dont worry. Samsungs design and writings are discrete.
Galaxy S7 Edge SM-G935FD
Black Onyx
Rom: Phoenix V2
Prometheus Kernel
As long as You can boot into odin/ download mode it's a 100% genuine samsung phone.
But other than that having Duos on the back is just a normal thing. Some countries might have it, and some won't have it. Why? No idea. But it's a identical phone, just with Duos written on the back.
And don't worry about CSC. I have used many roms with different csc's. Even asian ones while I live in europe . And the signal etc was totally fine. So don't worry and enjoy Your new phone
Mine is from Egypt (but was bought in US) and its DUOS too
Aus
Mine is from Australia and it has 'Bogan' on the box :good:
I have DUOS written back but I don't bother since mine is authentic set.
My as Samsung written at the back and also DUOS written at the back SM-G935FD SAMSUNG, YETELEY, GU46 6GG. UK
And it is made in Vietnam with 1 Sim + memory sd card
My one is ordered from China csc code Iran duo's also . I was worried might be a fake. Luckily wasn't a fake. Changed to btu Rom.
which firmware do i use G935F or G935FD, i have G935FD?

It has been answered a thousand times THAT BOTH G935F AND G935FD BOTH USE THE SAME FIRMWARE, SO G935F FIRMWARE WORKS ON FD TOO AND VICE VERSA. I ALSO OWN DUAL SIM G935FD MODEL, AND I FLASHED OREO BTU G935F ROM WITHOUT ANY ISSUES.
Btw, for me its written on the back as :
" SM-G935FD SAMSUNG, YETELEY, GU46 6GG. UK "
Designed & engineered by samsung, manufactured in vietnam.
Then 2 imei's and one serial no.
But I don't see DUOS written anywhere though..
Sent from my S7 Edge using XDA Labs
how can i use VOLTE for samsung galaxy j5 prime which is bought from UAE.
