Hi,
has anybody tried to install Xposed framework on the 6P with Android 7.0? And if so, does it work?
As 7.0 is still a "light" Nougat-version, if I understand this right, it might be possible. But before I try and have to reset my phone, I dare to ask you for any experience on this.
Thanks for any input on this!
Br
P.
I don't believe rovo89 has updated to 7.0....So many MM ROMs had custom features baked in. I'm sure modules like Gravity were losing traction with users rather quick anyways. I'm not even sure if xposed has active development.

As a matter of fact most of the Nougat ROMs currently being maintained warn against using xposed on their ROMs ..

Xposed not out.
I'm hoping that we get support for 7.0

Xposed is moved past Super Alpha and a lot more mods are working including XGEL.. Go check it out.
I am running it on Benzo right now.

The .zip for arm devices. Then go read the main xposed thread, as stated in the OP of the 5.1 alpha thread, and finally download the installer apk. Flash the .zip in recovery, reboot, install apk. Depending on your ROM, xposed may or may not work (Chroma is one of those it doesn't work on). It would also be smart of you to research what's working right now, as well as read the thread about fixing bootloops caused by modules.

This new update was made by the gb dev. He said he's working on it, but it's not ready yet.
I'm using greenify, xposed gel settings and p*****a patcher.

Thanks for the info! That was helpful
YouTube AdAway and Background Player are working with latest version of YouTube. Greenify also seems to be working (I'll post back if I find any bugs with it). Here's a guide on how to recover from a bootloop caused by an xposed module.
Does xposed work with the require password to start device feature turned on?
I am using the following on Benzo Rom
APM+
Boot Manager
YouTube AdAway
XGELS..
Been waiting for xgels for what feels like forever, makes my nexus perfect when its working.

Never used that feature, where can i turn it on at and ill test it for ya.
greenify is now working with xposed 5.1 horraaaayyy
Dumb question. I never used xposed before and I am trying to install it on the stock image.. It flashed in recovery and said success. Then I opened the apk and it says framework is not installed.
What can I do?
I have tried yet!
Wonderful

I tried with 3, and I locked up pretty quick. Not sure if I want to test again as it took about 2 hours to fix.

Does the new Xposed work on Chroma? I know Chroma ROM refuses to support xposed but I am wondering if anyone has made it work

This only worked with deodexed ROMs. Stock ROM is odexed. If you want xposed, you will either have to deoxed your ROM or install a deodexed ROM such as JasmineROM (6.1).
Good luck.
Cheers,

Sorry about the bad info. Stock is odexed . Jasmine is really stock deodexed with Xposed framework infused. I have several note 3s
With one on stock rooted and the other with Jasmine without Multisystem running and both seem the same as far as signal and battery.
Sorry again

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2374008 will this work so we can use xposed ? oh and u can use 3C Toolbox app for deodex to without pc
I have tried a few different ways to deodex. I can get into the stock firmware and deodex it, remove bloat, knox and make the SELinux permissive. When I try to rebuild is when I get errors. I have pulled a complete backup of the system using FlashFire but cant get it to open to deodex, etc. Superr is working with me to see if we can get it compatible with his project but I if we get the bootloader unlock tomorrow, it becomes a complete non-issue. We should be able to easily root, install TWRP and create a backup and easily deodex, etc.
Hi!
I actualy use MM with xposed framework installed.
The modules I use are greenify, appopsxposed, powernap, amplify, disable charging led, adblocker and fingerlock.
As far as I know nougat doesnt have a working xposed version so I dont know if it worth moving on to nougat.
I hate the full battery green led that light up my entire room while im sleeping but I can try covering it with something if the upgrade worths it but, how about battery life? will the battery life be better without powernap, geenrify, appopsxposed and amplify?
I believe not but I want to know the opinion of ppl who upgraded to 7.0 loosing xposed.
thank you
You don't need xposed for adblocker, greenify or amplify to work and most roms have the ability to disable charging led

Wrong - Amplify needs Xposed.
But Nougat battery llife vs MM with all that Xposed stuff will be better, worst or same?

You're basing this on what precisely? I used a Nougat rom for around 3-4 days without Xposed and in comparison to my normal MM build with Xposed the difference was negligible, if anything.

Past experience with xposed + amplify. I could be wrong but for me personally with N my battery has lasted the longest.
No worries, it's just that you stated it as if it was a universal fact, rather than just your experience.
Nougat without xposed
Hi , I'm new to posting here , anyway I have been using "Smart Network" to save battery since I don't have very good signal in my town (turning to 2G whenever screen is off , 4G when screen is on , plus other things) ,
since nougat has been out for a while can you guys let me know how the battery life is compared to marshmallow ?
I used to do that on Nexus 5 , now I have an A5 2016 .
Make sure your flashed
Latest Firmware
Lineage OS or AEX 4.1 Latest
Procedures:
Wipe Everything except Internal g Ext Storage
Flash ROM
followed by
Mod if you wish like Apps as System
Magisk
last is the
Gapps
Now go to magisk - Hide magisk & Hide Playstore!
REBOOT

You need build fingerprint from firmware that passes CTS.

How to build fingerprint prop from firmware,
I have no idea on that,
Give me a brief idea on that

Another thing, I watch the video on YouTube, that doesn't say anything about fingerprint prop, but all of them are not doing this on stock rom ,they updated their rom, may be that's the case, and I don't want to update any rom as speed is slow here and I can't download any heavy roms

Maybe it's a stupid question, but how can I set SELinux to Permissive permanently? I'm running stock latest OOS + Omega Kernel and Magisk root.

Usually there is no easy solution but to do it manually upon every reboots because Android Oreo started to be even more strict about how the bootloading process works but I would love to be proven wrong, I have been looking for the aforementioned solution.

I haven't found a permanent solution either. To ease the process you can set up scripts to run at boot, I think there's a magisk module for it too.
I will have to look at a few more options still. I tried init.d in custom LineageOS 16 ROM running on my old Google Pixel which I still use, and no dice still. Gave up on doing the automatic way.
